Hey guys,
Can someone with Substratum and version 9.0.13 can help with ssomething ?
So, I hadn't had my App installed for almost 3 months, and now when I installed it, the overlay doesn't change my navbar icons. I need someone to try it, to check if it's a me problem, or something in the Substratum app changed...
Here is the link to download the full app: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nkt2twbk19l0e95/app.apk?dl=0
Thank you
having the same issue, can't figure out why

Ever since updating my Nexus 5 to Android 5.0, I've found that you can't manage startup. I tried Clean Master, Autostarts, and Autorun Manager, but none of them works.
Please assist me in finding a solution. Thanks.
Anybody? Well, can the "Autorun" in the thread title be changed to "Startup" at least?

you can use app ops, the lastest version can do that
Do you mean the one by Lars Team? I just tried that, but disabling an autostart doesn't stick, it's enabled again when I recheck.

you can use this app to remove the permissions and it does not require root too..
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gmail.heagoo.apkpermremover&hl=es_419
Does that manage startup entries? Doesn't look like it, and App Ops seem to manage permissions fine.
Greenify?

You can remove the unnecessary permissions like boot with the phone...
Greenify is an option, but I'd rather not depend on another running process... Oh well, have to make do with it for now.
Just tried APK Permission Remover. It requires you to uninstall, then reinstall the app. Too much trouble keeping up-to-date.
Simply deactivate the app.

Just flash Pie Patch
you should just flash the pie patch via recovery, it solves a lot of the problems root apps have in lollipop, including the startup one

Sounds risky and unclear, maybe someone else can try?

I agree, you should try it first, let us know how it goes...
What do you know, they just started working again for me... Didn't patch anything, just updated normally.
Autostarts has been updated to support lollipop.
Kingroot, but its also do more than I need.
Finally I found the solution to disable chrome/beta opening in floating mode :
Just install this xposed module
"XHaloFloatingWindow"
you can find it in download menu of xposed installer
enable it and reboot your phone
open XHaloFloatingWindow
go to popup behavior, blacklist apps and add chrome/chrome beta
terminate chrome and restart it
enjoy full window

Hi Ken, nice to see you here from the Note 3 forums.
The method has been posted a couple of times, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56771426&postcount=4054
Regardless, now we need a fix for it on ART! :good:

Hi guys, when I try to apply a theme in substratum I get the message saying "substratum was not able to communicate with the theme interfacer". Could this be a rom issue or a substratum issue? Thanks
Are all the permissions set? I've also seen with some themes, having Lucky Patcher installed has also caused some issues.

Sorry for late response, I don't check here often enough. Substratum needs permission to contacts, storage and something else.

Hi, I've got a problem I never had until today with substratum. I can apply everything like overlays, themes, fonts etc but boot animations won't work. They say they applied but when I reboot it isn't. Please help if you know why this is happening. It didn't happen yesterday and all permissions are granted and it happens with every theme I have tried. Thanks

There were two updates lately. Did you try reverting to an older substratum version and try again?
Good luck...

The Team Wings fonts vanish once you change themes via the Samsung Themes app and there is no way to bring them back short of reinstalling the whole thing. Are there any solutions that persist across changing themes?

Install the APK & reboot
Installed Google font, rebooted but not finding anywhere, nor in font library in settings.
Can you clarify on how to apply, please??

Seems to be working for me. I downloaded the app and restarted. Opened the display options and under fonts I looked for GoogleSans. Applied the don't and it worked. I also have the wings font pack installed as well. Don't know if that has anything to do with why it worked for me.
Before you can see the new fonts, you will need to enable overlay layers for the APK, either through ADB or Substratum, if you are using the app.
The full instructions are on this thread: I don't use substratum, so I installed them using option 2.
I didn't do anything either... No substratum or adb method. Just installed, rebooted and the fonts are listed.
Thanks for uploading the fonts.

No no, just install the font. Nothing further required. Just a reboot.
Hate Andromeda & substratum, seems to always kill speed for the phone.

Did so and nothing, only the 4 default fonts showing. Do you need to have the default theme active so it works?
Works for me.
I want to use the font in the link. But I can't use it. Please help me with this

I have Snapdragon and it worked for me. Downloaded, installed, rebooted and then selected in settings - display - font and screen zoom.
The app AFonts works great for me!
