[Q] S4 bluetooth conflict with Ok Google

I could not find a solution to this problem after searching, if there is one please direct me to it. Thanks.
I have a stock Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android version 4.4.4 install on AT&T network. When using my plantronics bluetooth headset with Ok Google detection set to activate from any screen I lose all phone audio over the headset after the first call (ie. the first call works fine but after that I cannot hear anything) Music audio works fine. If I deactivate the detection from any screen and re-boot the phone I get the audio back. I tried the same headset on my son's new Galaxy note and it worked with no problem.
I've read several posts with similar problems but so far no solutions. Obviously, there is a conflict, I'm guessing with Ok Google and the headset both using bluetooth but so far I can not find information on resolving it.
Has anyone found a solution, other than not using Ok Google detection from any screen?
Thanks, JH

Samsung Galaxy S8 Bluetooth issues

Update @ 22-04-2017:
Somehow.... the Bluetooth issue just fixed itself.. I didn't change any settings.
It just started to function normally the next day!
It's still a mystery to me... but I'm glad it works fine now

Hi,
I just got my S8 and I love it! Everything works well.. except:
When pairing the S8 via Bluetooth with my Parrot MK6100 carkit it won't sync the contacts from the phone to the carkit and when I play audio it streams it all scrambled.
The audio trough the carkit sounds like the phone is very far away and it's about to loose the connection. Actually the connection with the phone was dropped a few times while streaming audio. This only happend when I paired the phone the first time. The distance between both devices is about 30 centimeters...
Normal voice calls are ok.
The carkit has the latest firmware version 1.03a. I already did a reset to factory settings.
It works fine with other smartphones like my previous Sony Xperia Z3 and LG G4 running Android 6.0.1.
Samsung customer service was unable to help me with this issue. According to them, no other complains have been registered about Bluetooth issues with the S8 so far. At least in the Netherlands.
Streaming audio to other Bluetooth devices from the S8 does work fine.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? Could it be Android 7.0.1 or maybe the S8 itself, as it features Bluetooth 5.0??
And of course, any ideas on how to fix it?
Thnx,
Lorand
hi! Same issues on my S8+. Bluetooth doesnt send notifications to smart watch, also doesn't auto connect to BMW. And cant find any solutions ..

Bluetooth Issues with Ticwatch Pro and Bluetooth Headset

Not sure if this is the right place to post but here we go.
Recently, I bought a Ticwatch Pro from the official Mobvoi Store. It worked great, until I tried to bring my Bluetooth headset into the mix.
I connected both the Bluetooth headset (A Jabra Elite 65t) to my Samsung Galaxy S6 and my Ticwatch. What I was hoping is that I could recieve calls and also make calls using the in-built Dialer on my Ticwatch while using the Bluetooth headset to actually talk.
However, when I tried this, the call came through on the Ticwatch's speakerphones, and I also had to use the Ticwatch's microphone to speak. Which is not really a great thing, considering that it could be quite loud on the streets.
Any help would be extremely appreciated. I don't mind if I have to install apps or root my Ticwatch, I just don't want to be able to use only either my Ticwatch or my Bluetooth headset.
Many thanks in advance!
P.S. I already tried going into Bluetooth Settings and changing the 'Use for' category to prevent any possible conflict: The only function that both device shares are 'Phone Audio', and disabling the Ticwatch's just disconnects the Ticwatch and prevents me from reconnecting unless I reenable it again.
Ciao
Have you fixed this issue ?
Any help from official support web site ?

BT connectivity issues

Hi guys,
I have a Galaxy S8 Plus running on Oreo rooted, although I have an issue witv Bluetooth and I don't know if it's hardware or software related.
Basically, whenever I turn on Bluetooth, I can't see my paired devices, for instance I have a Gear S3 watch and whenever I turn on BT my phone cannot detect it even though it's already paired, the only way for me to connect it is by launching the Gear app and clicking on connect, and each time it asks for the pairing permission. I do also have BT earphones and the only way I can connect them is by resetting my earphones that way they can be detected by my phone.
This is so weird, does anyone else experience this issue?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
