Hello all, currently on aex rom pie, haven't changed roms in like 5 months but now I'm starting to want something new (aswell as bluetooth not working on aex for some reason) so I'm going to try liquidremix rom and I want to know: How do you keep the same contacts when switching roms? I don't want to have to ask the people for their numbers again cause that will be a pain in the ass so help? Thank you.
Just have them save to your Google account like everyone else does. They can automagically download to the phone when you log in on a new ROM. Hey Presto!

hi guys!
im all new to this, my HD mini is my first smartphone, and because i have a big affintiy on technical issues, like flashing a custom rom in my mobile device, i am posting right here
As far as i was getting to know, i will need SSPL for flashing a ROM on my device. if i want to make my custom ROM (just removing some things like copilot etc) i gotta use osKitchen. so far, so good.
but my real question is:
my phone provider is A1 mobilkom (i am from austria).
if i would flash my ROM, am i still able to use my phone correctly? because in another thread (dont find anymore this post), one guy wasnt able to find his normal GSM network after flashing another ROM (those shipped ROMs, you know hwat i mean.) ok, things like internet setting for correct UMTS connection can be set after all (access point name, pw etc etc).
is this linked to this radio part, everybody's talkin about?
whats the connex between flashing the ROM and this radio part? i read a lot on this issue for the last few days, but i didnt gain more knowledge on this, therefore i am asking now with this here.
i dont wanna run into troubles, so i am asking you guys for your opinion.
so far
greets from styria
PS thx for all the work for the community!
I just changed my rom to CyanogenMod 6 (Froyo 2.2) on my G1.
It works great, but I can't find Market icon.
Also, My phone won't sinc with my gmail account.
How can I sinc it to my gmail account?
Can anyone please help me solve this problem? =(
Hahaha.... sorry. Anyway you need to install Google apps. Thay don't come packaged inside cyanogenmod roms (i think Google almost sued them is why its not in them) i dont know if your phone is supported by rom manager but thats about the easiest way to get/install them
If your having problems with your sinc (sink) call a plumber.
If its problems with sync download gapps.
Next time report rom issues in the roms thread.
Hi everybody,
I've installe the WildPuzzle v7.1 ROM and I've noticed that there are no notification with fb and the battery life is shorter....
How can I roll back to the original fw????
Thank you
P.S.: Anybody knows about a market like BlapktMarket or Applanet, to find all the apps for free??
you should have done a nandroid backup before you flashed another ROM I guess its time to use it
The second questing I dont belive were alloved to talk about -_-
Hi folks.
I've just been given this phone by a friend who has just upgraded to a Galaxy S2. I'm running a HTC Sensation myself but the handset looks like it should still be a useful upgrade for my daughter if I could get a custom ROM on it.
Almost all the DL links from the DEV sub-section seem down though. I did get Jazzman's ROM eventually but can anyone still playing with this device tell me if this is a good, bad or indifferent ROM to try. I don't want to waste time installing a bad'un.
I see from reading other threads that all custom ROMs seemed to have inherited a camera bug which could be partially fixed by reinstalling the default camera app (but no settings are ever saved). Did anyone ever get beyond that or did folks simply get newer phones and move on?
Lastly, if anyone still has a few of the old ROMS DL'd on their computer (Artos' anyone??) and could upload them somewhere for me and others to get access again, then that would be great.
Hoping someone can help. It's definitely too good to be binning it without trying something.....

Hey Crommy, did you upgrade to the latest stock rom? That really soves most of the issues with the device and is quite decent by itself.

there is no latest stock rom for me, i was using a EN-AR Rom B, the latest one is C with no Arabic support , so i downloaded brain master Manila , its Great !, it hangs 80 % less than the old one, Plus its faster, only issue found is the twitter tab when i login it says you are forbidden to use these account, at desktop and mobile browser the account logins normally.
do you have any idea how to install Arabic lang support for reading massages and contacts names?
Hi Chaps
Ive been looking for either a factory rom or something very basic and lightweight for my omnia 7
Currently I have the Tango V4 installed (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1571068) and my whatsapp will crash after about an hours worth of talking and i need to reboot the phone (ive reinstalled it)
any suggestions for a lightweight rom or links to a factory rom would be great as i seem to find dead links
I have ftp space if anyone can kindly upload one for me
Thankyou in advance
Why don't you try mi7ROM NOKIA edition, by Miro? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1782388
It works great, you can try no-skin version if you like the default look, and can also download Nokia apps with no hassle whatsoever. There are some preinstalled apps, but you can hardly call them "bloatware", just some tiny applications that you could uninstall if you really don't need them. I couldn't think of any reason to get back to stock ROM after I've seen this nicely cooked ROM in action...

i had the problem with whatsapp crashing, too. very annoying indeed. but it is not your ROM s fault, its an app-error i believe (the latest whatsapp update). what i did was to uninstall whatsapp and sideload any older version and the problem was gone. if you want i can send you an older version (1.8) of whatsapp which works without any problems.
