Hi!
I'm having this problem for 2 years but I could not find solution.
The music starts glitching or skipping when the screen is off and and it only happens with headphones
Only occurs on Stock, Oreo or Pie roms, except Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 with Pulse enabled
I heard it's a problem with the phone's CPU but I'm not sure...

Hi,
I've a problem since I've switched from Samsung touchwiz to Cm11 but now i've a problem with bluetooth, when listening to music i've got osme parasites/interferences like 2-3 seconds stop music then continues..
Am I the only one to have this problem? I've tried different kernels such as alucard or ktoonsez...
Hi! I a bluetooth speaker to play songs however when i tried switching to cm12 and cm13 resurrection roms i found that there are times when the speaker stutters and a delay is noticed but when i switched to pheonix rom v11 the issue just disappeared. There are no more stutters and delays with the playback. I tried using another speaker and the issue is there for cm12 and cm13 resurrection roms. Do you guys think that the bluetooth transmission rate had decreased in the cyanogen roms?
Also, i would like to ask on how could i use xmod to work on pheonix rom? Thank you
Got my phone a few days ago. Unlocked the bootloader and flashed Resurrection Remix v5.8.4.
Camera is barely working (constant 'Could not connect to camera' error message), so I used Google Camera Instead (Panorama mode always out of focus, seems to be a common problem).
The touch screen has some problem recognizing touches near the top corners ( approx. 0.3 inch to the top). It's mentioned in another thread that EUI 20s fixed the problem but I'm not sure if the other custom ROMs contain the fix.
The bigger issue is I'm getting crackles/electrical noises while using the CDLA earphones with the screen on. It happens for a split of a second every few seconds and gets rather annoying. The relief at the moment is it does not occur when the screen is turned off. Audio is also fine when using the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter with normal headphones.
I'm wondering if this is a software issue (with RR?) or the earphone 's problem.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
I just plugged my CDLA headphones into my Pro 3 running omnirom and have the same issue (using Google play music app as a player). Minor clicks/crackles with the screen on. Must be something with this family of 7.1.x roms.
I am running the Resurrection Remix v5.8.4. and have the same problem hearing cracking noises randomly while talking on the phone or listening to music using the original LeEco CDLA OEM earphones. I think the audio driver of the Resurrection Remix v5.8.4. maybe causing the issue here. Hopefully will the Android 8.0 update with the new ROM would fix that.
Well, flash back to eUI. Still having those issues? If so, it sounds like a hardware issue. Maybe the ROM didn't flash correctly.
I have been facing song skipping issue, where the song get changed before it ends. Suppose if the song is 4min 30sec it skips in 4 min 18 sec. Happening in all players. Faced it in last two lineage build and now in latest pixel experience. Clean flashed and installed all apps from playstore. Jio music can play without issues. Anyone facing this issue?
I upgraded to Oreo 8.1.0 OPJ28.111-22 from Marshmallow and it seems that playing anything with sound like music, podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or Netflix, there is a static sound in the background which is especially noticeable at low volume and in quiet parts. It is apparent on two different headphones, a pair of earphones and the built-in speaker.
I've factory reset my phone and it's still got the issue so not really sure what to do other than downgrading to Nougat or Marshmallow.
Any advice appreciated.
EDIT:
Flashed a TWRP backup of Nougat and Marshmallow and both have the same problem so it seems like it's a hardware issue, which is strange since I started noticing it when I updated to Oreo.
