hi i am new to the nexus 4 forums i was on the desire forums previously so when i went on to the nexus 4 forums looking out to flash some roms on my new nexus 4 i saw "android original development" and "android development". what is the difference and which should i use?
Doesn't matter. Use whatever ROM you like, no matter which section.
Generally, Original Android Development is for "vanilla" ROMs like CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android, AOKP, etc. whereas the normal Android Development sections is for ROMs based on these "vanilla" ROMs
Something like AOKP vs AOSP, you should just browse through both and see what you like, ignore the sub-forum heading
Hello.
I am running mtk6572 on my s4 alps gti9500
I would like to know if there are any custom rooms out there such as cm or omni rom
I can give device specs. But first tell me is there any rooms out there which take about 500mb. Cuz that's about all I have.

No. MTK is notorious for poor opensource support, and their code is such a mess that even for devices that have had complete OEM source leaks for the entire Android tree (such as a few 6589 devices), it's incredibly time consuming (and brain-damaging) to integrate the support into a modern Android tree.
If you want custom firmwares, especially AOSP-derivative ones, don't buy MTK. You'll be even worse off than Samsung Exynos4/5.
i have rooted my phone and now i am searching for custom roms i am new to xda please provide me the best rom link
There is no best ROM anymore than there is any one best car or vacation. It depends on what you are looking for and you gave no hint of what your priorities are.
Moreover you have a niche model. There are a lot of custom ROMs to choose amongst for Qualcomm S5's. However you have an Exynos based handset which comparatively few people use and which is incompatible with the Qualcomm models. This means that few custom ROMs are available for the 900H simply because few developers own the model that you have. Have a look in the android development subforum to see what is available. The last time I looked it was ony stock or debloated stock ROMs for your variant.
.
in that debloaed rom we have Odexed Version nd deOdexed Version wat z the difference

One is odexed and one isn't. Simple huh?
As a simple search would have shown you, stock firmware apps are odexed, while few custom ROMS are. Odexing is where an app is split into two parts ostensibly to make them load faster upon boot. Odex is a pain in the neck if you want to modify a system. It's sole advantage is that it may reduce your boot time.

Hi, I wanted to try a costum ROM on my note 3 because the official note 3 ROM has a lot of unwanted apps that just fills up my memory.
Looking on the threads, I see a lot of custom ROMs available that doesn't make it easy to start. So my question is which costum ROM do you prefer and why will you recommend me to get that one? Thank you in advanced!!
Just in case, my model is the one on the screen shot
Why don't you start with one where you understand the instructions .

I'd say go for Temasek's CM12.1 AOSP ROM. It's MUCH smaller than any stock Rom, & support is pretty good and it FLIES. I've now posted 2 Antutu scores over 49,000 - and I know benchmark scores are not real life performance but I never got over a 44,000 in any stock ROM.
If you want to stay based in stock, a very good custom ROM is Alliance ROM - think it's at v8.1 now.
HOWEVR, and this applies no mater what ROM you look at... READ, READ, READ... Learn what rooting is, learn about Recovery and why Odin on the PC is necessary. The more you understand about what you are trying to do the less likely you are to be posting back in the Q&A with... "Help! My phone is bricked!"
As you can see I have a exynos Chip so I need a ROM compatible to that.
I had done flashing in the passed when I have my Samsung Galaxy Duos so I have read a bit. But there are soooooooo much ROMs now that I dared to ask the question
Sent from my SM-N900 using XDA Free mobile app
Your choice of roms for N900 is limited to these .

Its save to instal chinse roms based on our exynos roms ?
Roms like these http://bbs.gfan.com/android-8396062-1-1.html
Edit: why i ask it ? Bc these roms have more advanced options
