I'm running Mokee ROM 7.1.1 Nightly and would like to know how to add LTE bands to our phone? Specifically the Band 28 (700Mhz) which my carrier support.
Hi everyone, I got my TA-1003 (Hong Kong + Taiwan, dual SIM, 64Gb) a week ago. I was frustraed to find out it has no Band 20 LTE support which is my operator's main LTE frequency.
Android Pie installed now
*4636* command didn't help, LTE ONLY mode would lose the network completely
I am aware that global versions do support this band
TA-1003 (Hong Kong + Taiwan, dual SIM) 4G LTE: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 38, 39, 40, 41 Bands
TA-1021 (Worldwide, dual SIM) 4G LTE: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40 Bands
TA-1033 (Worldwide, single SIM) 4G LTE: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28, 38, 40 Bands
Can anyone suggest possible solution?
TA-1003 modem just does not support band 20. You cannot enable something is not supported by hardware.

XT1687 is a US model so;
LTE B2 (1900 PCS) AT&T
LTE B5 (850) Tmobile
LTE B12 (700 ac) T-Mobile
LTE B13 (700 c) Verizon Wireless
LTE B25 (1900 +) Sprint
LTE B26 (850 +) Sprint
LTE B41 (TD 2500) Sprint
LTE B66 (1700/2100) T-Mobile
And I think T-Mobile and Sprint just merged
Thank you @Nivead,
There is any way to change the radio frequencies, to support contiguous carrier aggregation on band 3, 1800(CA_C3)?
Regards
Rafael

If you have rooted device, you can check supported combinations with Qualcomm internal logging. Here is instruction: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...from-your-android-phone/#Qualcomm_diaglogging . You can then share log to me so i can then parse log file and then can list supported combinations.
There is no easy way to change carrier aggregation combinations because these are defined to hardware. Theory possible modify some NVitems but this could brick your modem.
There is different variant support 3C: https://cacombos.com/device?model=XT1805
Has anyone here connected to LTE-A or CA? Here in Brazil we have the bands B1, B3, B7, B5 and B28 on TIM carrier, but it is connecting in just one band in a time. Software limitation? I saw that the SD662 supports CA. Would it be possible for a custom ROM to solve this problem in the future?
