Hi guys, I wish the boot animation of N1 in my background's computer. There is any Gif or some else over there? I was searching for it but I didnt found anything.
Im pretty sure it wont fit your screen.. Is quite small in size.
I believe what you are looking for is the bootanimation.zip that you can flash to your n1 to set the boot animation. If you open up the .zip (winrar, winzip, etc.) it contains something like 64 pictures of the startup animation. Then, you can make them into a .gif and set it to your backround (not at all experienced at that last step).
Just search around for the bootanimation.zip. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

Hi there, as the title said, i would like to know if there is a way to resize a lockcreen (took directly from the OPO), i've found a flashable zip and after the reboot it's look like i've disabled my lockscreen, but i not. When i lock my phone and unlock it again, it shows my launcher.
So in fact i don't really knows if this is due to the wrong size of the launcher (Which have xxhdpi and mdpi drawable folders in it) Or if it's just a buggy lockscreen.... Any ideas ?

title pretty much explains itself. i have not been able to change the boot animation. im running 4.4 google play edition rom.
More details please. What boot animation are you trying to use in place of the GPE one? What happens when you do make the change? Where are you copying the new boot animation to?
euhm well i tried apps and manual copying. i tried placing gif, zips and qmp? files in /system/media and some other locations. i tried allot of apps and explainations but nothing worked. when i made the change it either didnt change or it went completly black. im a root noob btw but fast learner sorry for the little detail and thanks for the quik reply!
You cannot use QMG boot animations in the Google Play Edition, Cyanogenmod, or AOSP ROMs as QMG only works in Touchwiz. The only boot animations you can use are in the ZIP format, such as the one linked in my signature. Instructions on how to manually install it can be found on my boot animation's thread, but in short, you use a file manager, copy the new boot animation to where the old one is, change permissions, and reboot.
so tried exactly what you said and it would not work. in my /system/media therr are only qmg files.(and now the zip) now i think i have the wrong location. like its the location from the original ma from the samsung system.
If it didn't work, you're not on a Google Play Edition ROM. Please take some screenshots of your About Phone listing in Settings and post them so I can see them.

So i changed boot animation in many devices,and always i do same thing
go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation-bak.zip then i drag my boot animation to /media/ folder and boot animation is changed.
But on Huawei P10 Lite when i do same,i still have default animation.
When i do this with Es file explorer,like on previous devices,its not working.
When i use Boot Animations for Superuser,its detect animation that is created by me as a deafult animation,and it even show me preview,so thats mean my bootanimation.zip file isnt installed wrong or just created bad. Thats mean Huawei P10 Lite have different directory of boot animation?
Any answers?
So i got it,and its working,but my animation is too small,even if i edit it in desc.txt or photoshop.
Hey, what did you do to change it? I know the directory is in product/etc/media. But i keep changing it and nothing happen.
