Yet not received PIE update
I haven't received PIE update yet and it's already mid may.
Mine is also X01BDA, no update, Poland.
same problem as OP. Stock everything, India and never received PIE update.
Asus has posted pie update asus.com/Phone/ZenFone-Max-Pro-M2/HelpDesk_BIOS/

update it through the asus website. even i had issues with my FOTA update, when ever i went to my system updates it used to say its up-to-date and then after a while i got a notification saying FOTA stopped working or failed. I contacted the Asus customer support and they said to update it manually by downloading the file from the website. I just mainly wanted the update for the camera2api. Manually installing the updates works. I think the FOTA is bugged or something.
Heres the link
https://www.asus.com/in/Phone/Zenfone-Max-Pro-M2-ZB630KL/HelpDesk_BIOS/
go to the BIOS and Firmware tab and download the file named "Version WW-16.2017.1903.064". This is the indian variant.
transfer it to the internal storage of your device and unplug the device from your laptop. as soon as you unplug you should be getting a notification saying a new update has been found. click it. it will first verify and unpack the file before installing the update.
THE FILE SHOULD BE TRANSFERRED TO YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE, NOT YOUR SD CARD!!!
Hope this solves your issue!

tnx man
any news for mt-tl10?
Hello!
I'm new on this forum, but I realy like your work! My questions is: I'm now on B511 version of android 6.0; is it possible to update to this version (B522)? Or what would be the proper way to do it? I'm from Slovenia, Europe and my phone is MT7-L09.
Thanks guys!
Are we sure we will not hear this is the beta in a few days?
Sure it's not a beta? If so, what version I have to be to receive the Ota?
Can any one explain if you need to reinstall the device ? will all data be deleted ?
Can also some one explain on what version you need to be on to be able to update ?
I am on B331 currently (L09)
What about tl10?
I don't understand a single word from this german site.Do we need b513 to update with b522? Or it just can be updated from b331? Is this final ota official? Or just another beta build? For sure its for L09\2GB version thats only clear thing in text. Can anyone explain is it better than b513 and is there anything new? Is update menu in settings back?

I agree there is some questions to be answered...
Also more confirmation if this is official and final...
Why I ask this is cause Huawei support around the glob is crap, I would only trust chinese support.
For instance I asked 2 months ago Huawei support in sweden when he thought Marshmallow would be released
he said that it has already been released in some markets... if the confirmation comes from china I trust it but not otherwise
since Huawei only have "fake support " in most countries where they will tell you to please restart your mobile phone and re install the phone etc besides that they do not know a ****

The next final marshmallow update is coming up. This time is the extremely popular Mate 7 with Android 6.0 and 4.0 EMUI. It bears the name:
MT7-L09C432B522
On demand, Huawei has informed us that it is the final version for MM Mate. 7
The series join because both the P8 lite, the Mate S, the P8 and also the honor 7 have been supplied ? from the Far East with the coveted sweetness named Marshmallow (which is incidentally also excellent reintun for the hot cocoa. Huawei adopt because already a lot trouble, even though there are times comes in this context to the prophets of doom. this we hear but studiously and look forward rather than a working device.
The now presented and distributed via OTA update is of course again rolled out in waves. Your can watch the way with your wireless display introduced in about, first very little and in the end, more and more. The duration, the amount of time so that a rollout takes total to complete, until all are supplied is given always different. You should there but so get in the next two weeks. Of course it may be that Huawei first the BETA User supplied and brings the update shaft for rolling only after. Can not say or verify, as we currently know precisely only by a BETA users who we so firmware received update for its mate. 7 Thanks to the context of wool!
You will definitely be the next time the marshmallow update on your Mate 7 (in the branded devices such as Vodafone or Deutsche Telekom can take a little longer). It may of course be that the full version then has more MB than that which is currently provided to the BETA testers via OTA. Our version was approved by the MT7-L09C432B513 installed Coming. This should therefore be a prerequisite. If you can no longer wait or want, then flash your device manually, are but you aware of the dangers. It could be that your device after running bad, or not at all. Never change a running system. ? But as we now already know you, our warnings are you can not stop and you will not be able to leave. but Ok, then start please with here:

maybe this update is not compatible with the Marshmallow beta version ?
This is a update version and not full version so some one really need to clarify which versions that are compatible with this update!
Any chance some one who has it could do a clean twrp backup and maybe put on mega, it would be muchly appreciated.

Hi everyone, My phone is Mate 7 TL-09 and firmware was B513 till yesterday I've got B522 notification and installed it. I installed Huawei ID and Huawei Cloud app, so I think, maybe, I got OTA update because of that. These two allow you to backup contacts, notes, ... to your Huawei cloud.
Huawei Cloud+ app: https://mega.nz/#!KVNzzaDL!AOVdRCttM27utV7N937zM__GSZxpyNvRjCtu0itQR1wL
Huawei ID app: https://mega.nz/#!3EdS0L4K!U8cBJw1kB-qlvQF838W-id78vFDMKQeKOyJ2_F1bJ_U
Also my B513 firmware was rooted and my phone recovery was twrp 2.8.7 mobopx tool.
In Notification of B522 update it said it's Full version, first it showed me a 1.22 GB File and I got a backup and return and it was 486 MB.
B522 download link: https://mega.nz/#!GRlzxJZS!x_dSYDOIofOQD-NeoIZ8sT2V6SvtgnPfNkMDKtBCt2g
The changes are: some minor bug fixes, "Backup" and "health"app added, still missing local update and a little phone smoother.
For installing of B522, it says your phone should not be rooted so I unroot and installed stock recovery of android 6 using mpbopx tool. Then downloaded and using automatic install and it reset two times and installed without any error. I installed twrp again and "supersu 1.64 pro.zip" helped me to root again. I've created a nandroid backup, upload in progress.

Well it would be nice if we could get better information for us normal people and non-hackers and rooters too ?
In fact all people who have waited for final marshmallow version do not care about any of that staff that is why we did not install the beta.
So leet keep all this "root" talk in another thread. The final version seem to be here so lets instead discuss what versions that are compatible with this official update.
I have never got any updates pushed on OTA so I most install this manually
This is a bit weird. When I saw that B370 is rolling out in Germany, I tried update on phone to check if update is available. Now strangest thing is, that even B330 is not showing. I'm on B180 and about month ago I received notifications that B330 is available.
I even updated to B330, didn't liked it, rolledback to B180 and even after rollback i could update to B330. Now there is no update available. Even tried with HiSuite....but nothing.

I have the same issue! I don't know what is going on.
Now I found out that HiCare, when I started it, it asked me to update itself. So I did.
Now HiCare shows me OS early adoption update...something and when I press on it, it shows me that I can update to B370?
Weird huh? Even though regular updater doesn't show that there is an update.

Yes , it is really weird.
I find it out guys! Just unroot and you can install the update via OTA.
I didn't rooted phone

Jesus , then i really don't know how to help you..
Have you tried manually updating the phone? Try to download the b330 and then update to b370.
I found out how regular update can be done.
Just applying thru HiCare and accepting new version B370, phone updater gained access and now it is able to update B370/
Sent from my Huawei Honor 7
HiCare needs to be updated normally.
Then when setup (region and user agreement) is done it should present a new update.
Full HiSuite backup is highly recommended.
If on B180, the update should have 1.19GB if on B330 should be around 400MB.
I´ve updated manually (got errors probably due to unroot and restock recovery image) from B180 to B330 then automatically to B370.
Factory reset, format microSD, full HiSuite restore and clean as a whistle.
There have been 4 OTA updates, not including the Nougat update, since I last received one. The last update I received was in July (baseband version G930AUCU2APG1.) It isn't rooted but it's encrypted. It says everything is up to date when I check for updates on the phone. AT&T tried to push an update last night and they told me they were unable to contact my phone. I tried wiping it and checking for updates but that didn't work either. Is there a way to manually install these updates?

Download the Odin pk1 files and flash with odin. After that you should be able to take the nougat update. I'm not sure if you have to decrypt your phone though or not to Odin
Picked up a Moto 6 Plus (XT1926-7, retla) last month and have been running the latest 8.0 (8.0.0_OPWS27.113-89-5) with unlocked bootloader and Magisk. Working flawless. :good:
Decided to take the plunge to Pie last night, which ended up with me have to do a full restore of a 8.0.0_OPWS27.113-89-5, then taking the OTA to 9.0
Upon successful OTA to 9.0, I then rebooted and used fastboot TWRP to try to take a clean nandroid backup. I could backup all partitions except Data (fork failure to make the rar).
I then rebooted again (still stock, no Magisk install yet), and noticed that I was getting a "dm-verity disabled" warning on my bootup screen and then a warning under System Update check that says "Updates are disable for this device due to compromised system integrity".
Have others tried the same yet? Is this "compromise" due to the unlocked bootloader, or did TWRP trip something? Is it possible to run Pie with Magisk and still be a google certified device?
Just tried again:
* Clean wipe and install to 8.0 (89-5)
* Bare bones phone config.
* enable USB Debug
* Accepted OTA Update and reboot
* Successful update to 9.0 (PPW29.116-11, patch level Dec 1, 2018)
* Play Store version 13.0.23-all [0] [PR] 227930514
* enable USB Debug
* reboot
* following warning on the blue/yellow bootup screen: "Verity mode is set to disabled"
* System Update page: "System Integrity is Compromised", "As your device system integrity is compromised, it is no longer eligible for software updates. Please contact customer service to re-program the device with official software."
EDIT:
* Magisk rooting still works: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g6-plus/how-to/3-how-to-install-root-aka-magisk-t3854244

I used the files below to return to stock 8.0 prior to upgrade. I did not use files to upgrade to 9.0, I used the OTA system updater.

Hmm. I would not use the twrp installer, since I haven't heard anywhere that it would work flawless with evert. Skip that and use fastboot boot twrp.img to access recovery. Do not flash. Boot.
May i ask you a question kind sir. I have the same model (G6 plus) de same oppw thingy (8.0.0_OPWS27.113-89-5) and when i hit the update button did not get any OTA. It says i have the latest version and still in november security patch. How did you trigger the OTA? Or you sideload it? Thanks kind sir
Nice to see that you had an OTA to Pie. I was about to ask where you live, because I don't have the OTA here in Belgium yet. But then I saw you have a RETLA device, so I guess I will have to wait some more!
Is the phone working well on Pie?

Yep.. purchased on Amazon in the US (I don't think they ever officially released G6+ model direct to US). So far, working smooth. Haven't found any bugs.
Should also note that even with the Verity and "not update eligible" issues, and now rooted with Magisk, it does still show as Play Store Certified.
@thump i am in the retla too. I did not get the pop up update neither via security o update section. I have the same OPWS as yours too ??

Weird. Mine badgered me every hour with a "Software Update is Available" notification for the past week. Even when I did the clean stock reflash to 89-5, it notified me a few minutes after clean reboot, before I even got around to checking System Updates. Maybe rolling it out in staggered waves of some type?

Excellent. Good luck!
I just bought this device, it's on build 1901.339 oreo. I tried updating it to pie via the updater but it didn't show any update. I downloaded latest manual update file(1906.055) and started the manual update process, it started and booted into recovery, after a little progress it said error.
I tried downloading another package(1905.53)to bridge the gap between latest update and my version, same thing happens.
What's the solution guys?
I am very new to Asus, so My build number has 'WW' in it, that means it's SKU is 'WW' right!? and i downloaded the packages with 'WW' in their names.
So i think SKU mismatch isn't a issue here.
Thanks.
