V21a update kdz

Hey guys since i still didnt get the 21a, i wanted to flash, anyone know where i can find the kdz?

Copy and paste the following into your address bar, then type your phones IMEI after the = sign...
hxxp://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn= (Replace hxxp w/ http).
In the page that opens, highlight the address directly under <sw_url>, and paste it into the address bar to download the latest KDZ file.

It's on lg servers, it's not modified.

Depends. If you choose cse then yes. If it bootloops then yes.

Damn. Is there any way to update on a rooted phone without wiping/bootlooping?

Rooted and twrp installed or? If you are on 20t/u/w you can install twrp, then flash bumped v21a by robalm without any loss. Or simply flash in normal mode(kdz)

Getting Android N on rooted Nexus 6P

Okay so I rooted My Nexus 6P a while ago and now that there Android N has been released I wanted to go ahead and get that. However since Google is only offering it via OTA I didn't know how to do it. I googled around a bit and searched on XDA but couldn't really find what I was looking for (There might be a thread for this question already Sorry!). I just wanted to know if I could flash N through TWRP somehow. All help is appreciated thanks!.

Nope twrp won't work. Just Flash the stock Recovery via flashify or via fastboot. After that the ota will work.

That would remove my root right

After flashing the N Preview you will lost root. Just flashing the Recovery won't end with loosing root.

Flashing only the recovery isn't enough, if you're rooted you can't take OTA updates. It isn't only being offered via OTA either, you can get the factory images and flash them via fastboot, and this is the only way you can do it if you're rooted.

You have to install an RC version with flashtool. And after that the Installation of MM with twrp recovery.

You can root with Kingroot then flash twrp and then permanent with supersu

Just try it. Make a backup of all important data and see what happens. You can always reflash if something goes horribly wrong.

I want to temporarily root my G3 just so I can remove some bloatware. Is kingroot the way to go, and safe? Do I just need to uninstall it like I would uninstall a normal app for the root to be gone?

I am looking for a custom ROM with working encryption support for the data partition.
I tried Alexandr devbase (both Oreo and pie) and couldn't get it to work.
Is Anyone here who actually uses a custom ROM with encryption? If yes, which ROM and how did you install it?

Please don't judge others by your own standards.
I would not mind the loss of some porn videos. But the loss of the Google authenticator keys I would mind for example.
