Ok guys, this is really just a test. I extracted the MiuiSystemUI.apk for the AOD backgrounds and just replaced them with some custom ones. I'm using the script from Dimas Alam (i credited him in the script). I might add some more custom AOD.
Try it (I didn't work for no restoring the original AOD for now, i might do this later). Every image is not replaced. Anyway hope you like it.
STEPS
1. Boot to TWRP.
2. Mount /system in TWRP.
3. Flash zip.
4. Unmount /system.
5. Reboot.
This should be safe to flash
edit: uploaded a new zip with some love to it. Have a nice day. Feel free to comment

Added more love to it. Made colorful aod-notifications too for some icons. Looks pretty sweet.

some screenshots would be appreciated tho

Since the new CM branding called just Cyanogen, I was tired of waiting for them to release their roms with the new logo so I did a new bootanimation. I tried to look serious without losing the techno-holo design of android.
Here is the download link

The video preview
I'm planning to release another one with more simpler design aiming for something more corporative.
I'm open to ideas or suggestion to improve it, I made it quite fast so I may skip some attention to details.
I loved the way the designed patterns in the background fade away.
Reminds me of Halo during the loading screens. *o*

Yeah, sorry for the size, the picture resolution is the cause for it.
I made another version (with the text removed) using the same format found in some "google edition" phones.
You can download it here:
http://goo.gl/hpVZS7
This version looks like this, is reduced in dimension but runs smoother

If there's a bootanimation.zip in /data/local it'll read from that rather than /system/media
Have fun.
Put bootanimation.zip in /system/media/ with rw-r-r permissions or flash OnePlus_One_Bootanimation_Flashable.zip in your custom recovery.

I also used @bitdomo's boot logo tool. It aligns perfectly with the bootanimation.

Huh, I don't see how a rom can affect the bootanimation. It's fine though, thanks for the cool bootlogo and stuff!

It's possible, I haven't looked into it. People have had lag/stutter with the L developer preview bootanimation on some ROMs but not others. Probably the same thing if it lags with this one. There's a way to fix it but I have no idea lol.
I noticed some lags in bootanimation with some kernels...
Looks cool. How do I remove it if I want to later?

Bootloader image is removed by flashing the stock one from the thread I linked in OP, bootanimation is removed by reflashing ROM or replacing the bootanimation.zip
ふかつどう
Thanks. Flashed both for cyanogenmod using MultiROM, looks awesome and for some dumb reason I thought the boot logo would only be there for cyanogenmod. Guess how I felt when I booted up into PA.

Added inverted, white background version of both the bootanimation and bootloader IMGDATA.
What it is:
Here are some icons i put together from various sources, which i credit in the file. I plan to add more sooner or later(probably later).
How to install:
Extract files and pick what icons you want to use then put them in "/sdcard/SpeedSoftware/icons" then in the menu select custom.

Not really related to the icons, but when you save a file (e.g. build.prop), it doesn't always save it, does it happen to you too? Only seems to happen with Root Explorer.

@ronak123456 for #1 (how to change the system font) check my thread here, you have to use a custom recovery like TWRP to flash the zip files (no root needed).
For tat also have to install a custom recovery? Aww tat sucks..we do have an option of font, we cant simply download and use it?

You would probably need to flash a custom ROM that includes that feature. I don't think One Plus has any plans to add that feature to OOS.

You need to create a folder on your SD card (see attached image) within to main Tasker folder.
Ensure the file format is .xml then import via the Tasker menu
Easy as that.
