[Q] Cant get ROOT

Hi all,
Maybe this is a noob question, but i can't seem to get my N3 rooted. This is info on my N3:

I tried CF-auto-root...didnt get the red android....kept getting the message that a normal boot was not possible. (tried 4 times)
I tried de la vega method......got a bootloop...(tried 3 times....got scared that i bricked my N3)....pulling the batt helped....got normal boot but no root).
I red somewhere that my kernel version is the problem...? Is that right....if yes....how do i root my N3 with the above (kernel)sotware...???
Please help....i want to install another ROM...because the standard bloatware is making me crazy....among other stuff.
PLEASE help !!!

I think you are rooted. Dowland a root check app from plsystore, or check if you have a app named supersu.

The link you provided worked !!!! I think i used the wrond Odin version......earlier i had not the AP button to load up the MD5 file !!!!

if i want to flash custom recovery (TWRP 2.7.1.0)....do i flash the TAR file as PDA ( in the older odin version).....OR as AP in the newer version ?

Help to compile Huawei Y625 CWM or TWRP

Hello there! I am new to this, I have been reading and trying to compile a recovery for my Huawei Y625-U03 (MSM8121), I hope that my work can help other users with the same model and those who are compiling other variants. The truth is I don't know much about porting... I can compile a recovery.img and probe but I get error with dt.img... however generates a recovery.img without dt. I've been tested importing the file (dt) from the stock rom, run well (with CWM theme, and touch) but I have me the same options of the stock recovery ... any programmer could help me? I tested the DU when it was uploaded to AndroidFileHost, but won't boot (Stuck at bootlogo). The Validus, maybe i will test later.
