Are the Samsung Galaxy J3 Firmwares Universally Compatible? - Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Questions & Answers

My device is Samsung Galaxy J3 Sm-s327vl
This device is mapped to Tracfone but Services from Verizon.
Apparently 6.0.1 was all they cared to invest on the sm-s327vl.
Whereas Verizon's J3 version j327v upgraded 8.0 and likely will get Pie as well.
The ONLY difference between these devices is the Carrier mapping. They're both same phone using same Services <Verizon >
Don't reply saying "It Can't Be Done."
I'm interested in HOW
And with that being said....
A device with Unlocked OEM BootLoader,
Should be able to revert Firmware back to MDK Developer Shell and flash ANY platform to it.
Thanks In Advance For Your Shared Knowledge
And As Always,... SMOKE IT IF YOU GOT IT.

[Q] Getting Lollipop 5.0 on Developer Edition S5

Haven't found a discussion devoted to Verizon Dev Edition chances of getting a 5.0 update.
Will CM12 remain the only way to go, near term (in order to get Android 5.0 on a Verizon S5 Developer Edition)?
Think I read Samsung had disabled auto lock on reboot with this latest 5.0 roll out, and if true, would that mean the Dev Edition would be able to take updates directly from Samsung without the threat of a becoming a "stock" phone with a locked bootloader? (Obviously an awesome policy improvement by Samsung, if true).
Thanks in advance for thoughts/info on this!

it doesn't make sense only few very few S5 mini devices got the lollipop update even though its been a year since lollipop came out
if they really are working on marshmallow it would be most likely released 2017 that what i think

Dunno mate
Maybe they gonna jump from Lollipop to Marshmallow directly, so that's why we don't see any changes about releasing Lollipop.

Upgrading Galaxy S5 G900A (AT&T variant) to Lollipop.

Hi guys,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 AT&T variant running Android 4.4.2. I am not in the US, and I do not have an AT&T sim so I cannot upgrade it to Android 5 Lollipop over the air.
I have searched all over the internet and also on this forum, and I'm very confused because I've read some conflicting reports on the upgrade path for this device.
Some articles mention I need to upgrade to android 4.4.4 before I can upgrade to android 5. Others do not.
My bootloader is not rooted, nor do I want to root it. I mention this because I have read in multiple places the rooting the G900A is a huge pain in the ass, and also that once you upgrade, Lollipop's bootloader cannot be rooted.
I have attached a screenshot of the baseband, kernel and build information. I would be eternally grateful if you could help me with this upgrade.
Mir.

Unfortunately I got to know from Samsung, this phone is a sim unlock phone which is originally belongs to Sprint USA. Currently It's running Android 6.0.1 and I can use my local Singapore sim. When I check the IMEI number from the web it says the model is "Galaxy S7 G930P". But within the phone settings it says the model number is "SM-G930F".

Galaxy S7 Unlock Bootloader and Pie Roms?

Hi there. I have a SM-G930A (AT&T model) running Android 8.0 Oreo with the August 22, 2019 Bootloader (G930AUCSACSH3). I'm trying to figure out if there is a root and unlock for this device so I can run Pie on it, while also being able to use Samsung Apps? My college will not let any devices on the network that are running any version of Android older that 9.0. So I am kind of stuck. I have limited data to use, and had previously used this as my daily driver. I don't have the money to go out and just pick up a new phone. Any help would be appreciated ASAP.
