I want to reinstall 9.0.13 completely because I'm having some errors like volume panel not going away automatically.
I went from t mobile 9.0.11 to international masik and TWRP. Flashed 9.0.12 and then Ota to 9.0.13.
Been out of the game for a while and don't know what's up with this a and b slots and what not. What exactly do I need to uninstall and wipe in twpr before I install 9.0.13 OOS? Thank you

I would...
Flash the 9.0.11 MSM that allows T-Mo unlock.
Unlock
Do a local upgrade to 9.0.13
Flash TWRP then Magisk as always.
Basically you are just starting over.

Thanks do you suggest wiping anything in twrp before hand or it doesn't matter since I'm using msm?

First save pictures, music, video, doc's in Pc or usb drive.
Msm erase ALL in youre phone. It lock youre bootloader too. MSM makes youre phone like it was when it came out of the factory.
Or you can Format data in twrp, or in Fastboot. This also erase ALL in youre phone.

So I can wipe Delvik, cache, system, data. Then flash 9.0.11?
Sent from my OnePlus 6T using XDA-Developers Legacy app
No. Format data does not mean to wipe Dalvik/data/system, etc. It's much more.
MSM does that too and returns youre phone to real factory setting.

Hy all!
A week ago I turned on the File Based Encryption on my 6P but want to root again[emoji2]
How can I turn it off?
Is it enough to flash the factory image again or should I do anything else?
Thanks.

Flashing the factory image will work as long as you format userdata from within TWRP recovery. You will need to back up all your data because it will get wiped.

I think so as long as you flash a kernel or supersu to disable encryption before the first boot.
I used Flashfire to flash a radio.img without checking flash bootloader.
I can get into the bootloader and twrp.
When wiping the device and flashing another rom or restoring a backup my 6p does not get passed the custom rom splash screen.
I was thinking of trying to fastboot flash system/data/cache of the March update and see if it boots.
I know I messed up. don't even know if it was because I didn't check the bootloader option in Flashfire. Just my guess because everything was working fine beforehand.
Any help or ideas would be welcome.

Hey... You said you wiped your device? What did you wipe in TWRP?
Try to install a ROM from TWRP. Once it's over go in wipe and do a factory reset. Reboot. It should likely fix your issue.
Good luck...

Hey thanks for the reply.
Yeah, I wiped data, system, cache. Just the standard - I still have internal storage intact.
Its just strange, I've used Flashfire before but not for flashing a radio and it worked out fine.
I am on 3.79 and used Flashfire to flash 3.78. Went to the bootloader just to check and it still shows 3.79. Just my fault . I didn't check flash bootloader in the Flashfire settings. Atleast that's what I am guessing. Things were just fine before

Well, if nothing work, maybe backup your internal storage and flash a factory image... Then in recovery do a factory reset afterward. Who knows. Going back to stock shouldn't hurt anyway.
Good luck...
@dirtyreturn
I've used FF to flash only radio files to the modem partition many times without issue. You untick all but modem, and you untick inject SU and preserve recovery. Not sure what went wrong for you. As mentioned , you should be able to manually flash stock and if you're careful, you'll still have your data. All your settings will be reset, but the userdata will be there. You can even use flash-all.bat, but open it in a text editor and remove the "-w" flag so it will not wipe your userdata. The Google page where you get the full factory image will have instructions.

Thanks. It was obviously my fault somehow.
I do remember there being only one option to tick.
Using fastboot back to stock did the trick and made me realize maybe I should hold off on using Flashfire for a bit.

Nah, FF is awesome and a major time-saver. Just read up on the documentation here and become familiar with it.
So, I tried installing the Note 8 port and now I can't seem to wipe the data partition. I have used every available version of TWRP with the same results. it won't mount the data partition.
from inside android doing a factory reset just restarts and nothing has been wiped.
I also lost root during this process and cant seem to get it back. I have a 935F/DS but the build number says N950F

You need to go through the process of fixing the encrypted data partition.

I have done all of that already to no avail. I have also tried flashing stock oreo firmware in Odin but after about 3 seconds it says it is done and nothing has changed. I am starting to think I must have done some irreversible damage to my Data partition. is that possible?

In TWRP, have you tried Wipe | Format Data?
This option is a button to the right of Advanced.

I am so sorry. I am a moron. I thought I tried that but I didnt. it worked..... TY SO MUCH!
You will have to reroot after. I was Magisk 16.3 and 5.8.3 apk. Then the data fix. I also never update Magisk after its installed.

thank you. I will take your advice and reroot with Magisk.
does Air Command work with Magisk?
Short story short, I was running 9.0.17 on a converted 6T. I decided to try something new. I found TreskMOD and followed the instructions to get it up and running. I'm missing some of the features of OOS so I want to go back. I tried the full OTA zip in TWRP. Flashed on both slots, wiped, formatted data and still booted back up to TreskMOD. I know I can use the MSM tool but my PC is out of commission right now so TWRP is all I have to rely on right now. What do you guys recommend?
You need to wipe internal storage also when moving back from AOSP to OOS. If you don't have access to a PC, you will need a pendrive or similar to flash the required files as you will lose all your data on the phone. When I install I wipe the phone completely and make sure OOS is flashed to both slots. I would recommend doing a backup before proceeding.

Maybe try this? These are all stock OOS ROMs zipped specifically for fastboot. Maybe try flashing the OOS Versi n of your choice via fastboot instead.
I'm on a bootloader unlocked T-Mobile OP7T Pro 5G running 10.0.19. I tried upgrading to 10.0.25 but its failing even after flashing stock boot image.
It seems like my only option is running the MSM tool and updating afterwards which will wipe my data.
So I was wondering if its possible to make a full backup of my data partition and then restore it after the upgrade.
(the version of twrp I tried couldn't read my data partition)
