It is simple if youre going from custom ROM to stock ROM. Just download stock ROM and flash it via MiFlash when your device is in fastboot mode. After flashing it your device may be locked.

[STOCK RECOVERY][CONDOR][4.4.4]recovery.img

hi everyone...
IN ROUTINE FLASHING PROCESSES WE USE CUSTOM RECOVERIES......
BUT SOMETIMES FOR OFFICIAL UPDATES WE NEED STOCK RECOVERY....
SO HERE IT IS.......
EXTRACTED FROM OFFICIAL XT 1022 4.4.4 FIRMWARE......
BUT IT SHOULD WORK ON OTHERS TOO.....
If you have rooted your device once....
Only full unroot from SuperSU and flashing this recovery will not work....
YOU HAVE TO FLASH FULL FIRMWARE....
OTHERWISE OTA UPDATE WILL FAIL....(because after rooting our build.prop gets little edited....which will cause problems)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS....
1. DOWNLOAD "RECOVERY.ZIP".
2. U MUST HAVE mfastboot/fastboot AND adb tools EXTRACTED IN A FOLDER ON YOUR PC.
3. EXTRACT RECOVERY.ZIP IN THE SAME FOLDER.
4. PUT YOU PHONE IN BOOTLOADER MODE.
5. CONNECT IT TO PC AND OPEN THAT FOLDER.
6. OPEN CMD WINDOW HERE BY PRESSING SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK.
7. ENTER FOLLOWING COMMAND.
mfastboot flash recovery recovery.img
the command will result in okay...
u r done.....
THANK YOU...

curiosity, how you extract the recovery from original firmware?
I have used flashify to flash stock recovery before. It seemed to have worked. Its super easy as well and requires no computer. Try at your own risk.

If you need your stock recovery your already rooted and have a custom recovery in place. So therefore your device has an unlocked boot loader. Flashify can flash recovery IMG without even powering into recovery.

I don't know for sure, but @lost101 can possibly help you with that. It will most likely require you to pull it using an adb command.

Possible to lock bootloader?

Is there anyway I can lock the bootloader on my ZE520KL?
I would like to know it, too.
Android 7 cannot be installed with it unlocked, afaik.

How did you do it??
I've bought my ZEN3 (520) and it had Android 6. I managed to root it, but I was forced to unlock bootloader to do it (don't remember if official or unofficial unlock).
Now I removed root, tried reinstalling stock boot partition, etc...etc... but nothing works! It always trips at the dm-verity check at boot time, and it says it will be shut down in 10 seconds, and it really shuts down! (

Why u tried to remove root? for installing nougat? If u want to update to nougat, u dont need remove root, just flash it.
Can you access recovery mode? If yes, just copy the rom on your sd card, before u flash the rom, u must flash boot.img inside rom.zip and stock recovery same as rom ver.

For boot.img and stock recovery : https://mega.nz/#F!ok0V0RIA!5WKtHe98opzjVI3NPbM7Ww
(ze520kl=z017d)
For stock firmware : https://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone-3-ZE520KL/HelpDesk_Download/
If u want flash the latest avaible stock firmware, u must extract firmware.zip u downloaded, and flash boot.img and recovery.img from it. If u cant find recovery.img inside it, just flash latest recovery.img avaible from mega (its for nougat too). Put firmware ur downloaded on sd card.
-reboot your phone to fastboot mode, connect your phone to pc and flash boot.img and recovery.img
-after that go to recovery>install update from sd card and choose the .zip

Go back to stock firmware, how?

Hi, i've flash the omni rom, If I want to go back to the original firmware what should i do?
Download stock ROM of your phone and flash it with flashing tool
Like if you has SPD CPU then use spdupgrade tool or for Mtk use spflash tool
Load your firmware to tool and flash it

What!? That is not even possible for this device. SPFlash is just for MTK as far as I know. Just download any update.zip that you want and flash it in TWRP(after factory reset wipe, of course)
But I have to assure you that TWRP will be overwritten with original recovery, so you'll need to install TWRP again if you want to flash another rom.
Thanks, there is a guide? Because i found another way using the cmd and flashing one thing at a time: recovery, system, cust..

Download a "FULL" update on Huawei update site, and do not unzip it, just copy where you want, boot into TWRP, make a factory reset-wipe and flash it.
Do not UNZIP it!
Flashing th .zip in TWRP works fine (don't worry about the error it will throw) but please take a factory reset before.

Stock Rom Pie

For those who want the stock rom i will live a link to it and a guide how to install it.
It has the MAY update so those who are stuck at the februray update can fix it.
Note: This process will erase all your data, i recommend do a backup and the phone must be unlocked in order to flash the rom.
Link to Stock Rom here
Guide
After downloading the file go to the adb fastboot folder (that you probably already have) and extract the zip to it.
Put your original cable in a usb 2.0 port and connect to the phone and enter fastboot.
After that just click the flash_stock_pie_MI_A2.bat file and wait until it´s done. It will automatcally reboot
Have a good flashing

Unbrick mi 9T

Hi anyone can help me ? , i brick my mi 9t , i can still access TWRP Recovery but how can i flash new rom using TWRP ?
Connect to computer or use an usb otg and flash a Recovery ROM.
Hi,
with Mi Tool V2. Download tool, phone in the fastboot mode, then Mi Tool V2 detects the phone and offers you the right Rome for flashing. Then follow the instructions in the tool

Yes, usually, Xiaomi releases Fastboot Rom, Recovery Rom and OTA update.
Here you can find them: https://mifirm.net/model/davinci.ttt (the ones called "zip firmware").
