So I took some pix of my friends and decided to save them to contact list. But i've noticed the picture is pretty blurry when they call me as the picture pops up. Is there a way to make the pictures in contact list brighter?
Thanks

I had this problem before when I was attaching the contact pic using outlook, then syncing to the phone.
But the blurry picture problem disappeared after I transferred the picture onto the phone's memory, then manually attached it to each contact (ie Open Contact List > Edit Contact > click on the silhouette on the top right hand corner > Open Album > then tap on the picture... That then gives the option to adjust the sizing of the picture..
Hope this helps
thanks so muchhhhhh
Finally fixed
I also had this problem, but now I finally found a way to fix this.
Install outlook 2010. Outlook 2010 has the automatic option to attach High Res contact pictures.
So what you need to do is:
- Install Outlook 2010
- Add your contact pictures again, and Outlook will put the High res version into your contact.
Good luck!!
If you sync will Google, then there is no fix. If you sync with Windows Live or Outlook (like mentioned above) you should have high res pictures.
my contact pics are linked from Facebook profiles.. does not seem to look blurry in my case..
Hi,
Is there any notes application that you can insert multiple photos taken using camera?
Thanks.
Hello,
is it possible that the Contact photo are saved in another Folder ?
I dont like it when i have the contact pictures between my normal videos and Pictures.
Soory for my bad English
yes, just make a new folder in your memory card and add your contact pictures into that. that should sort it out for you.i'd recommend using resco photo manager to view your pictures, miles better than the in built viewer.let me know if you want it and I'll try and send you it later on today.
okay i have made a new folder in the My Pictures Folder, but it didnt automaticly sort it out.
Or i must make the folder in My Documents ?
heres what I did.I just made a new folder on the card and called it contact pictures,I then manually transfered all the pictures over into the new folder and that sorted it out, no more contact pictures in the photo viewer.let us know how you get on
It works it was my failure , i had create the folder in the picture folder, now it is in the My Documents and its works.
Thanks to all
glad you got your problem fixed.
Hello,
Is there a way to change the file name that Camera360 automatically assigns for pictures when saved? Currently, it includes "C360_" prior to the date for when the picture was taken (e.g. C360_2016-07-31-10-03-35-267.jpg). I would like my pictures to be saved excluding the "C360_" at the beginning (e.g. 2016-07-31-10-03-35-267.jpg).
If anyone could help me with this, it would be much appreciated in the organization of my family's picture archive.
I just got my S8 today. On my s6 I was able to easily add photos to individual contacts. However I cant see how to do this on s8. I have read online about opening the contacts app, selecting edit and press the camera icon. But there is no camera icon. All edit does is allow me to edit the contact name number and email address.
What am I missing here? How do I add the photos on contacts?
You click on particular contact name: you'll see 4 icons with rightmost being details: click on that, big camera is above the name: click on that and you'll have camera on to take picture you can save. I have not figured out how to pick pictures already taken from gallery yet. If you imported contacts from your old phone, older pictures should transfer as well.
I created a folder that has all my Contact picture headshots in it. The only was I got this to work was to copy the actual photos directly into the Gallery folder. You cannot copy the entire folder. At least not for me. When I copied the entire folder over, Gallery did not recognize it. When I copy and pasted all the individual photos, it did not recognize them until I rebooted the phone. At least then it recognized them. I was using Exchange for Outlook. It keeps overwriting the locally attached profile pics or something was causing them from going from large photos to small ones . At the end of the day, I ended up going back and attaching photos on my laptop thru Gmail and then having Gmail automatically sync those with my phone. Make sure you have Gmail selected under Contacts. The only other issue I am trying to solve now is to find a Caller ID program that shows large contact photos on incoming and outgoing calls.
1. Select photo from Gallery
2. From options menu select Set as contact picture
3. From the contacts list choose the contact
4. Crop the photo
5. Press Done

Go to contact, click edit then *click on contact picture. Under the camera mood there are cartoon characters in boxes select the yellow flower with a white background on the buttom left hand side click it. It will take you to your album where you can select whatever picture u want to save as the contact picture. I hope this help I just did it. Wish I can post a video on how to. Bye
