Minimum brightness is great, but the problem lies in the slider. To my eyes, the brightness drops too rapidly in the 20% part of the left side, while there's only small change in brightness if you go from 25% to 75%.

minimum brightness does not seem to go low enough unless night mode is turned on (personal preference). still seems pretty bright fully turned down at midnight. but with nightmode greying out,.. its fine,.

I do not like min brightness at night. It must be more darker. I feel pain in my eyes
Yes it has night mode and black theme, but anyway it should be lower at min brightness

The minimum brightness is better than any other phone I have & had.
The bad thing is that the brightness slider does not feel linear.
It's like the brighter half of the settings takes about 80% of the slider.
Which makes getting the right brightness in the darker half of the spectrum very fiddly and annoying.
I really hope they can tweak that...

I do have a complaint about the adaptive brightness on the 10L. It seems to decide it should put the brightness almost all the way down from time to time which can be annoying. My other Android 11 devices have adaptive brightness on but do not react so strongly.

Minimum brightness goes to very low levels. So wife catching what's on screen won't be a problem.
