Any way to d-load flash this without loosing root and twrp? I know it must use stock recovery.

There is the latest kangvip ROM which is based on B353

Of course you can. Just don't forget to wipe the cache, system, and data first prior to installing the new OOS.

Thanks - so this is a first beta for Xiaomi MIUI nougat ROM for the mi5s. Have you tried it yet? Why do I need the fastboot file? Isn't it enough to clean flash the large zip file from TWRP as usual?

I think they already have it. They wrote they'll be busy for the next 3 weeks or so beta testing the nougat MIUI for mi5s, amongst other models that will also finally receive Android 7

yeaa, it is still a beta rom with lots of bug (!?)
the reason i put it here is mainly for developing purpose since developer may wanna extract some stuffs from 7.0 based official rom

yup, this is the first version of 7.0 based MIUI official rom which released today.
it is suggested to use fastboot flash instead of recovery flash for BIG update
but i dont think everyone can use the rom due to lack of beta access

i found eui 5.9.0.30s in bbs.ydss.cn website
30s is similar to 28s .i never seen any difference in both roms.
i think only little bit performace & battery improvement
i used 30s for 30 to 40 min only bczz i dont like eui

You can install gapps with google installer v2.

The link I got on the telegram. I tested the rom and it's functional. If you have questions, download the official Chinese link: http://bbs.ydss.cn/thread-1209156-1-1.html. As it is a Chinese rom it does not come with the installed play store, you must install it manually: https://www.digitbin.com/google-installer-apk/

Only broken after install individuals apks or google instaler V.2, the results are the same.
