make sure to have backup! after I updated to 9.0.1.163, y mobile is in bootloop now! Only option I have is factory reset!
Got it here in germany this morning. Had to request it in the Hi-Care App. Just checking for an update in the settings did nothing.

I made a backup beforehand (recommended), but had no issue whatsoever.
It was successful for me. But no clue why is notifications bar and other stuff so big. And it is freezing a bit too. If anyone has suggestions to fix this then please let me know.

Everything from lockscreen to notifications bar, status bar, settings all shows huge. As if the display is set to low instead of wqhd. Same thing had happened in the last update from nougat to oreo and changing the resolution had fixed the problem but not this time. Is anyone else facing this problem?

lost camera icon in home screen after upgrade to emui 3.0
I have done the online upgrade from EMUI 2.3 to 3.0 yesterday. Everything fine but I have lost the camera icon in the home screen. I can only find the camera icon in the right bottom at the logout screen. Once login, I can't locate the camera icon. Is there anyway to build the icon back?
It has to be there, in spanish version it has a different name and icon but it is there.
Check carefully all the screens and the drawer

Thats not only your problem. Looks like this issue is reproducible for a lot of users with B370 firmware. I haven't seen yet any fix for this.

I have the same device with H60-L04V100R001C00B370 and it works properly with a regular headset plugged in but battery is worst than EMUI 2.3.
The update says that I should not have a rooted phone before I update? Will this break my root or xposed maybe?
Well I had a rooted phone with CWM and the update failed. I had to perform following before I could do the update.
My method to update to B370 after error due to root and non-stock recovery
But my phone is just rooted.. I do not have custom recovery installed.. Anyone updated from that scenario?

Replace your build.prop and local.prop and then local update, worked for me.
I am sure this has been covered but humour me what does that entail and how do I do it
Did anyone receive the B120 OTA update? I'm have the L21 and I'm still on B104.
Oh and btw, if I install the B120 update manually, do I lose my warranty? Let me know what you guys think

I have B114 Vodafone Italy, I noticed one new function in the self camera, it shows a mirror in the upper left corner, very useful.
I am also still on B104.
Why would applying an official update void your warranty?

Hello everyone I got my new Xiaomi mi a1 today, and it came preloaded with the Nov. Security patch. I've tried to force the Oreo ota, but it's not working. Anyone have suggestions?
How abt learn to read/scan/search thru the forum to see if any same topic before posting one?

It does fix the mic volume issue. I was told so by the first person I had a call with after the update.

This happens from time to time on all stock Pie builds. Simple reboot usually restores this features and all recent apps.
After March security update I don't have voLTE (HD icon missed) Any ideas?

Nope, waiting for the update. I have august security patch yet.
Today i recieved new update with november security patch.
EDIT: this new update lost some features like virus scan,and storage clean up....wtf?
i also find out there is no way to use accubattery.The app just closes when turn off screen no matter what i do ( turn off power savings doesnt help)
i tried to rollback to older firmware trough stock recovery but its not possible....
