Flash newest firmware
My first impressions after 2 days of use are as follows:
PLUSES :
1) Charge is fine.
2) Wifi, Bluetooth connections are nice. There is nothing wrong. Bluetooth is automatically connected to the headset.
3) Stability is very good. Smooth.
4) Syberia and Havoc are not overheated like rum. Processor and battery temperature is very good.
5) I couldn't test the game performance because I didn't play games.
6) WhatsAppta sound explosion, no cracking
7) The sensors work very well.
CONS :
1) When I scroll the menu from the main screen to the right or left side, the notification drawer comes down on its own. In any of the other roms this is not a problem.I think Launcher has a bug.
2) The icons in the dock are shaking when the background menu is ended with the drag-and-drop method.I think this is also the problem of Launcher
REQUIREMENTS / RECOMMENDATIONS
1) I found the speaker sound less. In the next update, it is very nice if the speaker volume is slightly raised.
MY GENERAL OPINION ABOUT ROM
*Both battery consumption, temperature and performance are very nice. Stability is very good. Thank you again for the rom. I favor the development of this rum.

What could possibly you need that's changed in the past 10 days? I'll release an update when it's necessary. Contrary to how it seems most XDA users feel like developers spend their lives, I don't spend every available minute of my time releasing builds, especially when there's no reason to.

I would like to request every user of this forum not to be rude to any developer. They are human beings like us, not robots. They have their personal lives also. They are not being paid for what they are doing. It a free and community service. They should be thanked for this.
If you don't like any ROM, switch to another. Only MIUI is officially responsible for this device. If you have any serious issue to complain, please go to them.
The only thing I noticed with this ROM is that low speaker volume. I am requesting the developer to increase this in his next update.

Dear developer, you are the only hope alive for our Natrium. Please don't abandon this project. You may update your ROM whenever you feel necessary but please keep this alive. Once in every two month update frequency is very much OK I think for the Android Security Patch. Cheers and best of luck.

Enable Camera2 API and use OpenCamera, you'll be surprised how good the photos can be. I'd say that they're better than MIUI with stock camera app.

You need to edit your build.prop(you're going to need root for that), you can do it either using a text editor or something like a Kernel Adiutor, I think that there's also Magisk module for that, you basically need to add
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 to the end of this file, save it and reboot. Then you can install Open Camera, verify in Open Camera's settings if Camera2 API is enabled and shoot some photos

Why is it showing that redmi 4x has msm8937(snapdragon 430) as in reality it has msm8940(snapdragon 435)..
And even in geekbench..the single core score is higher than the multi core score(very illogical).
And gaming performance is too laggy

Based on cherry-picking features from some famous kernels and LOS Kernel repo, KernelX is a kernel project with looks for user experience, but adding useful features. A: Go into TWRP > Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Select data and cache > Repair or Change File System > Change File system > Select f2fs option

First , Most of games which have obb package just can run only once, If open again, will displayed "xxxx was stopped" and crashed.

stuck on boot logo
stuck on boot logo, waited for 30 mins but still stuck at boot logo.
Booted perfectly for me but same old bugs like any other 8.1 rom.
Music player with no sound, can't save pictures to ext sd card shot from any camera app use.
So i will be reverting back again to 7.1
Kndly fix these issues these have been there for quite long now.
Offline charging bug, Charging time is normal but it has heating issue. Battery consumption is normal but higher then Nitrogen OS.
But still the uniqueness of the UI, a lot of customization option and the OFFICIAL stamp is there , that makes it a perfect choice who wants to switch from Nougat also OTA updates are available too.:cyclops:

Over The Air(OTA) Updates will be available for your AOSP Extended ROM when the are published Official on the official website.
You will get notified automatically that an update is available.
Update will be downloaded and installed on your decive on your permission so that you don't need to do it manually.

yes there r still quite a few bugs in oreo roms which are not been sorted yet. We will have to wait for a stable and better build for now.
So its best to be on nougat

try viper os it's quite good. i have used that for about 2-3 months or so
In latest build 18022018 trusted face is working fine but Google Play store show device is uncertified and weather service and sim tool kit Force closing . I think weather service is Force closing because omnijaws is not installed .

All pie roms are treble, no question about that, you'll need a treble recovery to flash them, just flash this treble recovery from your current recovery:

I get the internal storage error on boot. This was fixed in all Pie ROMS a while ago.

All others working fine!??
Can be used as daily driver.?
Some strange battery stats behavior. Charged phone to 100%, used it for 10 minutes, reboot, then it showed 1 minute SOT. Later, at 83% battery I had 1:53 h SOT, rebooted, now it shows 1:30 h SOT.
Please remove crapware like aex wallpapers ( who would want to use those ugly wallpapers, really ), not a problem for me since I always root uninstall apps like default camera, fm radio, music player, equalizer, digital welbeing, data transfer tool, sounds, markup, browser, sim toolkit....
This rom is pure AOSP or is it build on lineage sources ?..
Battery seems good with gabriel kernel, at least on wifi ( 1h SOT per 10% battery usage ).

->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.

->Yes, full Substratum support!

-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.

its not bad on battery i used with Bluetooth handsfree and wifi all day usual use need 2 or 3 charge per day
Hello, it's really nice that you still build ROM's for our Mi5s Plus. Does this rom pass safetynet?
I've installed the ROM and first that I noticed is terrible WiFi speeds I changed kernels - still the same. On the other hand, 4G is fast How can I fix this?
Btw. The rom is really smooth and so far stable - good job

Thanks for best Rom on net for xiaomi mi5s plusI i tried in about 2 years about 15 roms but this one is by far the best one at all now, and no one is doing a google update from marc 2019.!
Overall really Good look ROM
After few day use this ROM overall really is GOOD looking ROM & few issues :
1) charging sound unable to change & just plug in have sound but plug out no sound...
2) Compare with NOUGAT ROM this ROM RAM consumption is higher than N so any custom kernel can reduce RAM consumption kindly recommend..
Will try this ROM again soon. Since my last try have too many issues.
Any custom kernel recommended for this ROM?

Still too buggy on my experience icons are not displaying properly. Navigating on the UI and settings is kind of stuttery and overall feels slow. And also while icons are not displaying properly it doesn't respond too when I try to open it.
I'll wait for an update to this but for now I won't use it.

Currently I'm using Lineage OS 16 using it's stock kernel since I can't quite get the balance on a custom kernel.
LOS too, if customization isn't your priority use LOS, AEX work good with clean install and default kernel, but some time later will slowdown with daily use

I use AEX and never has slowdown. And it work with custom kernel without any problem
