I have tried everything from, manually flashing each individual img from the factory image, NRT, flashing TWRP after flashing stock recovery... All end the same way, a infinite bootloop while its plugged in and getting power and going through the boot cycle once then perma black screen if its unplugged. I can not access any recovery of any kind it just bootloops & to top it all off im on vacation without a cellphone
Oh and this all started when i flashed lineage 16 and then releasised i needed to use the fbe twrps version after doing that, thats when this madness started.
P.S. The reason i was going to lineage 16 was because i was hoping that the mms issue and end call issue would be fixed that i have been having.

Try flashing stock images via fastboot by using flash-all command and see if it helps

1) Turn off and remove battery
2)Put the battery back in and immediately hold the back button
3) Plug in the USB cable while still holding the back button
4)Your screen will remain black, but its in recovery mode, and the flashing software should detect it
Source: Sony Update Service, I installed it and it told me to do just that to get into the recovery mode
Looks like were one step closer into getting the X10 rooted
I'm afraid this doesn't work

It does - it just doesn't display the things we are used to with HTC phones for instance.
This is SE's standard flashing method(and recovery mode). It's the same for their WinMo phones and for Symbian.
It puts the phone in a special flash mode ready to accept a new ROM/flash.
As OP mentioned the screen will remain black throughout the process.
shud try fastboot when its in flash mode..
Code:
fastboot devices
or
Code:
fastboot boot randomrecovery.img

Yes. You can backup sms from the Messaging application by pressing the menu-button while in thread mode. And use MyBackup to backup settings, apps and everything you need on the SD-card or online.
Would this still work if the phone isn't being recognized by the computer? (correct drivers etc are installed).
I have an xperia Ray, so I assume it's the same method... I get no response from plugging it into usb or charger, it won't turn on, although sometimes if I hold the power button it gives a brief vibration. I think it might be bricked :-/
All commands typed into terminal emulator were double checked and were typed correctly, i do have root and S OFF but it keeps rebooting!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=835777&page=1
Was using this thread to root my phone. Check did that succesfully
tried the S-off, check, then proceeded to "power off, power on" phone...and now it just constantly reboots!!!!.... i can however access Bootloader and i see that my S IS OFF....but the phone is stuck in a rebooting loop :S how do i fix that? need some help...not trying anything right now as fear to brick a 2nd phone.
edit** i was going to do a factory reset...but what else can i do? someone help me out
When i boot into bootloader, it shows a quick couple lines of text saying "no image" and some other lines....thne disappears in 1-3 seconds and send me to the normal bootloader screen where it shows, Hboot, fastboot, recovery, factory reset, simlock, system info, image crc.
edit* something about no pc10 or pcdiag img or wrong image.
for those wondering it is S OFF

Hi everyone
I have a galaxy s with a strange problem.
When I'm turning it on, the phone will bootloop.
I tried to flash stock roms, several of them but the result is always the same.
Odin shows that everything went great, I get the PASS message but then the phone will reboot itself and get into recovery 3e mode and that's it. If I try to reboot the phone it will get into bootloops all over again.
This is the state the phone gets into after a successful odin stock rom flash.

First of all - thanks
Tried what you've said.
Now the device has a normal CWM recovery but still nothing. Bootloops.
I can't get access to the internal SD.
Maybe another idea?
Thanks.

Is there a game or something you installed recently? Anything related to Meida files? another person seem to have same problem here ('Successfully copied meida files')
Try flashing a CSC file , was my suggestion
But before that try a hard reset by
Turn off the i9000 Phone and take out the Battery and Reinsert it. Hold the Volume Down button Press and Release the Power button Select Clear Storage by Pressing the Volume Down button Press and Release the Power button Press Volume Up to confirm i9000 master reset
or http://www.hard-reset.com/samsung-i9000-galaxy-s-hard-reset.html
Did you flash the file that you downloaded? The dbdata file? And you could try wiping everything before you do this to see if it helps

Hello to all who read this.
My phone only shows this two modes but does not get into recovery mode at all, it only shows the first step and then it reboots form the start:

I can't get into TWRP, even if I flash a new recovery with fastboot and run the boot command.
That said I can open fastboot mode and qfil mode.
The problem occurred last night I was watching youtube and in the morning the battery on the phone was fully drained and I couldn't boot into the lineageOS 16 that I'm using (had for 1 month).
The LED light in the top right corner is never lightning up, only when is fully drained then it shows the battery is empty and some blinking red light on the LED.
Well I tried :
- to install/run TWRP it couldn't let me run it
- to qfil the stock ROM and it did let me flash it but it was the same when I pressed the power button after the flashing process
- to use the "update" command in fastboot mode to update the stock ROM on to the phone and it said:
error: update package 'update.zip' has no android-info.txt
Does anyone know how to solve this?
Please help me!
All best,
Jasmin
I had the same issue with X727. Your battery is faulty and needs to be replaced. I got mine from this guy and received an original LeEco battery albeit with 2016 manufacturing date but it works well and phone does not reboot anymore.

Okey, thanks for the replay.
Hi, Jasmin slayer!
Did that Work for you to replace the battery? If not, try to flash some bootloader and verify , If twrp Boots again after flashing. Remember you need twrp 3.3.1 for Andro Pie!

I have the same problem my Le pro 3 x720 device. It is in a boot loop. I wonder if changing the battery will work.
so i took some break from android for couple of years and it seems somethings have changed since then, i had oneplusone so rooting wasn't new to me, but i got my oneplus 6t rooted it straightaway i had some issues with TWRP not sticking after i flash and had some issues were i couldn't find the directory to install roms but all that was fixed, had some other isues with using my banking app but that was sorted a swell so i was having fun.
a mouth or so ago i was wanting to get rom and my TWRP wasn't there it kept rebooting into fastboot menu, so i tried to flash TWRP again and it wasn't working so i messed up with boot img with all sorts of command lines related to flashing boot img, now my phone is dead for good i don't see how it can be fixed when the boot is corrupted i cant even boot into fastboot.
when i tired to boot into fastboot it wont work it stuck in that unlocked bootloader screen i have tried every combination available and it reboots into that. please help if you can.
please if i didn't explain my self properly ask away i just forgot what i did it been a while.

Try MSM tool
As mentioned, neither Fastboot or recovery need to work for the MSMTool to work.
Volume Up + Power while turning on will boot to fastboot.
Volume Down + Power while turn on will boot to recovery.
Holding Volume Up + Power should force the phone to turn off.
Volume Up + Volume Down should put your phone in Download mode for the MSM Tool.
Note the screen wont do anything, the phone will just be recognized by the MSMTool.

you guys have no idea how great full i am its finally working from dead phone in the storage to daily driver.. again you can always rely on xda members.
Yeah, OnePlus is one of the only phones that is truly un-brickable. Even Google pixels do not have working MSM tool.
