Help with changing / upgrading Tab S2 T710 Nook version to Stock Firmware - Galaxy Tab S2 General

Hi, I just purchased a used Tab S2 T710 from Ebay and received a really nice, like new tablet but it is has B&N Nook version of Android 6.01. At least for now I would like to change it to the stock Android 6 as the Nook version lacks much of the stock widgets and installs all the Nook stuff. Which I don't need or want.
I think I can just use Odin and flash the stock firmware but I need to find the firmware which so far I have not found.
My current Build No. T710XXS2CRH1
Can some knowledgeable person help me confirm and point me to the right firmware, Please?
I am open to updating to a newer version of Android but not sure which to choose.
Thanks

OK, update to stock firmware android 6.01 via Odin, all went well but Nook remained the same.
How do I get rid of Nook and it's apps to get normal OS.
What do I need to change?
Really want just get a original Android default apps instead of Nook
Thanks

The GNote is a beast but help me open it up!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!
Hello, Guys I just got my GNote International GT-N7000 a couple days ago its already running hooked up with calling and data, Its a beast but I wanna get it running at full potential! I'm fairly well at the rooting and getting things going after I get a push in the right direction. I have been reading but what I have searched in the last two days has me more confused now then when I started.
Here is the Rundown on my Phone and its current firmware.
International Ver.
Gingerbread 2.3.6
Kernel
2.6.35.7 N7000XXLA4-CL886827
[email protected]#2
Build
GINGERBREAD.XXLA4
I have read that this phones firmware cannot be rooted then I read that I have to downgrade. Can someone help me out I would appreciate it a lot. I went to the place where it had the files I would need to downgrade to and there are 3 different XLA4 files I don’t know what one to use? This phone is an entire different experience than all the tablets I’ve rooted, and I have rooted many.
Here is what has me confused, I have to do things in this order because my firmware is newer her is what I have to do? - correct/
1 I have to downgrade to an earlier firmware correct? Which one - would be very helpful.
2 I see three different firmwares that show on the download page that is the same as mine XLA4. On this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997 it has the following, which one do I need there's 3.
N7000XXLA4 --------------------2012 January-------N7000OXALA4----------------Germany-----------------------------Download (Non Wipe)
N7000XXLA4------------ 2.3.6---2012 January--------N7000DREKL1------------------Austria (3)-------------------------Download
N7000XXLA4--------------------2012 February--------N7000OJVKL1-----------------Turkey-----------------------------Download
So that’s 3 files, I don’t know which one to use, if anyone can help me out I would be very thankful. Why does XLA4 have so many files? I just need to know which download to use to downgrade my phone. So I can use some Roms and see what I like and CWM.
This is crazy I’ve never had this much trouble rooting something. I’m starting to get frustrated 2 days and don’t even know where to start, information has my mind going in circles. Especially the 3 different ROMs for XLA4 downgrade.
My Current devices I have rooted are the Asus Transformer Prime, HP Touchpad, and Nook Color, but in the past I’ve done rooting with the original GTab from Viewsonic -First tablet ever owned, Nook, Streak 7, ZTE warp, Galaxy Tab 10.1, HP Touchpad, Asus Transformer Prime – Driver and now the note. I have never rooted a phone before besides the ZTE Warp and it was very simple, one click deal, The GNote seems very complex unless I’m missing something here, and it is a different beast. So I really need some help with this bad boy, if you can help thank you very much.
if its new use odin to flash it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1535025 3*Files Wipe N7000XXLC1_N7000OXALC1 Open Europe latest build + cwm kernel ant you will have all you need as base

Tab a SMT585

Okay after doing a ton of reading etc, iv come to the conclusion that something must have updated for an app to once work on
my 6.0.1 to then not work despite still being 6.0.1
Is it possible to restore my firmware back to its factory origional without updates (even though device is now rooted etc)
Failing this
Is it possible to put an older android OS on this device such as lollipop? If so where might i find the guide to this?
Sounds a lot of effort for one app, but this app was the sole reason i bought a second tablet for a game i play haha!
thanks in advance
You can look on this Sammobile site https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-T585/ and see if there is an older version of 6.0.1 for your area. If so, you should be able to flash it via Odin without wiping your current data. To my knowledge, 6.0.1 was the only version available. I've seen Lollipop mentioned, but when I search all I find is MM.

Which ROM to install now on YB1-X90F (android)

Hi. I've never really liked the Android version in my Lenovo but I am now facing an annoying issue with Play Store downloads getting stuck and delayed and going to have to reinstall.
At this point I am ready for a root and changing the ROM but I am rather lost in what android distribution are working and tested at the moment as after reading for a while there are some which are only for the Win version. I also see some references to X90L on threads about rooting and installing twrp but I am assumming these would work the same on my F version.
So the question is, what updated current ROMs are working fine and are worth (better than the official one) after root and TWRP on the Android version?
Also, once unlocked and changed bootloader, where can you get the official ones again?
Thanks for any help.

You don't need it if you flash YB via Intel Flash Tool with oryginal rom.

Hoping to upgrade a Canadian GT-N8010 to something newer than 4.1.2.

I'm new to the tablet upgrade process and I'm looking for guidance.
Details...
- GT-N8010 purchased in Canada
- I believe the Android version is 4.1.2 (Have to check)
- Can't update certain apps as a newer Android version is required
- I don't believe I need a version greater than 4.4.2, but I'm willing to upgrade even higher if the firmware is stable.
Can someone explain to me in layman's terms, what I need to do to improve the usability of this tablet with a newer version of the Android OS?
For example,...
What info besides GT-N8010 and 4.1.2 do I need from my tablet to ensure it is compatible with a newer Android version?
Can purchased Play Store apps compatible with the newer version be downloaded and installed in the same typical fashion?
Are there any potential country or localization issues where general usability and apps are concerned?
Did I miss anything?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Steve.
No response? The tablet worksgreat just the android version is too old. Damn capitalism

Upgrading GT-P5110 with newer Android version

Hi
Was hoping to get some guidance from anyone who has successfully upgraded the Android version on their Samsung GT-P5110. My daughter needs to install educational software that requires Android 5 or above (due to COVID/Home Schooling). Id love to buy a new tablet but Ive lost my job so hoping to get this old tablet working. Has anyone succesfully upgraded this model? Any help with instructions and links to correct versions of Odin, TWRP and OS Image would be most appreciated. Ive got some tips from this thread but not sure where to get the correct file versions..
