All,
How do I make DC Phoenix testpoint work for P10 Plus. The testpoint is close to USB connector and I tried shorting it with ground while flipping the board on the battery, it doesn't seem to be working.

Do I need to create a wired testpoint?
Do I need to hook up the battery as well? Its very difficult to keep the battery plugged in while shorting the testpoint with a tweezer.
Thanks
Why I'm doing all this?
I don't have Erecovery.
Fastboot allows me to write system but nothing else.

This effort has failed. The phone would not flash even under Huawei USB COM 1.0 mode, most probably because of security path and no support for Android 8.0

Try installing latest Samsung USB drivers on your PC or smart switch which will do it for you.
This happens because my phones usb port is not as secure as it used to be. The slightest movement of the usb cable causes my phone to lose connection. This is not a driver issue. I just want this phone to stop spamming this useless notification that interrupts me using the phone while its charging. Im looking for a solution that involves modifying my phone to disable this notification, im already rooted and I need to know if anyone out there has done this.
As a newbie/noob, I am attemting getting the Mi A1 rooted. Thanks to this great forum I managed to get the bootloader unlocked, using ADB. After I have unlocked this bootloader the adb/fastboot cannot detect my phone anymore. I did check the USB debugging setting on the phone and after a few times I reinstalled ADB on my notebook. I found a lot of threats, but none to this particular problem. What am I missing?

Xiaomi Mi A1, Android 9
Kernel: 3.18.120...
Notebook: Windows 10
Same.
You can get access to it in recovery mode, which is kinda disgusting because you have to reboot into twrp again again to transfer files. FML. Sad for us.
try it on other pc
try another cable
Hello I know this forum is for "p9 lite", but lite mini doesn't have it's own , so... My phone got bricked when connected to charge. Orange light stuck, the phone was off. Holding Power+up/down did nothing at all. I unplug the battery terminal and reconnect it. Now it shows red light when plug in. Doesn't power on at all. I'm trying to enter in EDL recovery mode and flash Rom and un-brick it with the software QPST. I don't know what pin/pins I need to short. The phone have only ADB command to use SD card as internal storage, no root, no bootloader unlocks nothing of that sort.
What I can do?
