I can't seem to screen mirror my s10+ with a Sony smart TV. There was no problem with my previous s8+. Is there a step I missed?

I'm on a galaxy tab 8.9, android 3.2
When watching video on full screen mode, I prefer holding the device rotated by 180 degrees (Samsung logo on top), so that the speakers are not blocked. but if I use the device to play youtube videos in full screen in this position, the video is displayed upside down - the actual position of the tablet is ignored. Is there a workaround for this?

Wrong forum mate, this is for GT-P1000, 7'' tab.
Try here.
Yes, just noticed that. Maybe you guys should rename it "Galaxy Tab 7" then...
Can an admin move this thread to the Galaxy Tab 8.9 forum, please?
In the meantime, is anybody on P1000 experiencing this as well?
I have an Allshare hub to mirror my screen to the tv. There's times where I am watching something on the tv using the hub and need to check something on my phone at the same time.
Is it at all possible to have the tv act like a second phone screen?
Also, is there a way for the tv to display the phone screen while the phone screen itself is off?
Thanks
No?
Is it possible To have screen mirroring on j5
i Think it is not possible.
Chrome Remote Control? Idk
I really want to chromecast op5 screen while its own screen is off. I got a USB c to female usb a adapter so i could connect keyboard and mouse and stuff. I've searched for 2 hours to somehow screen off (or brightness zero) my screen while I mirror the android screen but there is no such app or guide! just got p where people *****es their screen is brightness zero, not useful. (outdated screen brightness zero app on playstore don't work so pls don't bring that app here)
Not tried this. Just an idea that popped into my head.
If you somehow can get tasker to know you're casting you could use pixel filter app and set it to 100%. Your screen would be pitch black then.
That's not how Chromecast works unfortunately. It either does screen mirroring (where it displays exactly what your phone screen does), or receives a link (such as a YouTube video) to play it directly.
Basically it sounds like you're wanting something like Samsung's DeX docking station, but even that isn't wireless. There's no similar option for the OP5

I have two v20’s and one will screen share at full screen and one screen shares at 4x3 with black bars in the sides. Is there a way to fix this and screen share so it uses the full screen? The phone isn’t rooted btw
