Hi, I edited the build.prop of my smart phone, now the camera and microphone does not work. I would like to know if someone has the original file and could publish it here. Thank you.

It's a problem with permissions. When you edit build.prop it messes the perms, your phone is effectively booting with no build.prop.
Set build.prop file's perms to -rw-r--r-- (that's 644) in root browser and reboot.

Hello! So, I'm going to update from MM to N. I have TWRP and ElementalX installed and I wondered if any of you have the flashable zips or img's of the stock Marshmallow 6.0.1 for the XT1621 or another working ver.
I know I could download the firmware and just flash the both of them but my internet is not capable of downloading large files. I want to say that I have backed up the "Boot" partition with TWRP before flashing ElementalX but I don't know if this could help. I'm sorry if these files where to be found in this forum since I can't find them.
Thank you in advance! I would love if you could help me!
EDIT: I couldn't update to Nougat officially. As I said, I used Xposed, and some other apps that modify the System Partition. I found a Lineage OS ROM that had everything I wanted, in Nougat. It's working perfectly now! The battery life is so much better! If you want a link, PM me. I'll be pleased!

I couldn't update to the official N. I downloaded a Nougat ROM instead (lineage OS, working better than stock). If you want the link just tell me! ????

Dumb Question
Hello, I am new to XDA, and I've been looking all over the internet for the answer to the following question: Is the Moto G4 XT1621 same or similiar to other models on XDA? i.e, I have a Moto G4 XT1621 but all I see is ROMs for XT1641 or higher, even if they are the same. Can't even find root for this phone. I know the phone code is same (ATHENE) but I don't want to jump ahead and try and so something when I may not have the community's support for rooting, custom ROMs etc..
Can someone just help me by letting me know if flashing TWRP for Athene would work on XT1621 (RetLA, DualSIM) as it would on an XT164x etc. Thanks.
PS: if on the wrong thread please direct me to the correct one, there's not much info on the main G4 Menu...

It will work just fine, the process for flashing TWRP is the same for all xt16xx models.
After flashing TWRP you can flash a custom kernel like ex kernel and root your phone using any method for it.

Hey guys, how can I change the MAC address on Moto X Play permanently?. My old Moto G 2014 had a .bin file in the Device/Persist folder that I could edit using Hex editor. I can't find one in the Moto X.
So, I've tried so many Pixel Camera ports for my latest Samsung Galaxy A9, but none of it seems to work. I've literally installed and tried more than 30-40 ports but none of them worked. They install properly but force close as soon as I open the app. I really want to see if using the Pixel Camera app will increase the picture quality.
Details about device:
OS: Android 8.0
Processor: SD660
RAM: 8GB
Any more needed information I'm happy to share

Sir What to edit please tell us the complete procedure
You need to enable api2 on build.prop to make it work
How do I enable api2 on build.prop to make it work?

First you need root access to edit build.prop
Then add this line to file:
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
(Maybe the line is there but with =0, just replace 0 for 1)
Then save and reboot.
Is the first Samsung from mew models witch i hear that needs root....?
Seems like we won't be able to make GCam work until we won't get Android 10 update, I tried many many many many ways of getting GCam work, I changed build.prop, tried over 50+ camera's, executed many commands on ADB, none of it works for us now. So... Let's wait for Andoird 10.
I don't think you can either or you have found something that works for us (I think buying this device has been the worst and expensive investment)
Hi,
I'm, looking for an APK file of LG native camera app with working wide-angle.
I tried GCamera and G7 app, but first one keeps switching back to single lens, second is not working at all.
Where can I find such file or can anyone post this APK ? I'm looking for the version after "ThingQ" update (Android 9).
Thanks
PS. I would love to get more of those native APKs if possible
Hi there. I am too looking for the Android 9 LGG6 Camera apk. I tried an update from From APK Mirror and messed up my camera. So if anyone can post it this would make two of us happy. Sad with the PIE update that LG did not include any portrait style mode for our phones though. That is why I tried another APK.
I found all LG G6 stock apps/apks here https://rootmygalaxy.net/lg-g6-apps-apks-are-now-available-for-download/
Well I tried installing that Camera APK and it didn't overwrite the one I have installed and since my bootloader is locked I can't flash a different one. Hopefully someone can pull the APK from their PIE install.
Hello, just coming here for some help or guidance.
Just unlocked and rooted my V350AWM (with 20F V350U firmware, the usual Pie upgrade.
Any help getting a working stereo speakers mod for my phone? To install via Magisk.
If you have a guide to make my own module that you can share with me, might help too.
Thanks for your attention.
Edit: I've attached the system' mixers.
You should try to do a search first.
G7 Nougat and Oreo: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/mod-dual-speaker-soundmod-devices-root-t3735280
G7 Unknowns version: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g7-thinq/themes/magisk-dual-speaker-mod-lg-g7-t4038649
However, it does not seem to work in V35 Pie. I tried modifying the mixer_paths_tavil.xml file in Pie vendor but it made no difference.
Good luck.

I made my research, hehe, and found and tried those, to no avail. Thus why I'm asking for help/guidance.
Thanks for the answer anyway.

I have tried numerous times to modify the mixer_paths_tavil.xml file for the high impedance mod but all of the tweaks for the V30 make no difference with the V35. Perhaps someone like @ChazzMatt knows why this is the case with this phone.

I spent a day trying to edit my mixer_paths_tavil.xml file and it did nothing. I noticed that after I reboot my phone it gets rewritten back to stock. So I might be happening to you too. Not sure how to stop that.
No progress made yet. Tried editing the system' tavil xml, and the G7 mod, no dice.
I've attached the unedited mixers from Pie 20f.
