Hello.
Recently I bought a Nubia Z17 lite, but I've been having some problems.
Apps like Whatsapp, Telegram, call blockers are killed 5 minutes after I turn off the screen, while Spotify, Maps and even Pokemon Go still run. I have not installed any battery management application, and yet this is happening.
Does anyone have a solution?
PS: I already tried to lock them in memory but they keep getting killed

Guys, This is about MX4, I have been using this as my secondary device for sometime and I’m seeing a serious problem for a while. I don’t know whether other MX4 users using the similar problem. So the problem is all about the push notifications from the third party applications like Whatsapp, Viber, Kik, Hike Messenger, Yahoo Messenger etc gets delayed when the phone is connected to WiFi.
- When the phone screen is ON or if I’m not allowing the phone to go to an sleep mode the notifications are pretty to quick.
- When the phone goes to a sleep mode, I still get notifications with a time difference of less than 2 mins from sleep mode.
- But sometimes when the phone is idle and if there is any whatsapp message or any push notifications it won’t alert, unless I unlock the phone open that particular app.
- Under the permission settings I even gave the access to Auto Start for those apps, but the problem remains the same.
Since the time I bought this phone, I see this problem. Thought it might by be a bug on the software initially. But even after many updates the problem remains the same. So I thought I will ask you guys if there is a fix around. Please HELP!!
I have the same issue with my Meizu M2 Note. I even killed (totally removed from the phone) Security Center, so it shouldn't rule apps. Here I just stumbled and don't know what to do.
Yeah I think it's security centre being a bit over zealous. I converted whatsapp, Facebook messenger, etc as system apps using titanium and it seems to work
Hey guys,
I've noticed something since I got my phone and that is that certain notifications (Snapchat and Messenger are the main 2 for at the moment) will not make a sound unless my phone is either: Unlocked or locked with the screen turned on. Sometimes I won't get even get the notification until I actually unlock my phone which then all the notifications (sometimes 10+ messages in a facebook group) will pop up and vibrate my phone multiple times.
Is anybody else experiencing this or know how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!
How long is your phone sitting still for? This might be Doze stopping those apps from syncing until you pick up the phone. Or Greenify, if you're using that.

Hi, thanks for responding. Unfortunately this occurs during testing the issue after ~20seconds or less, so It doesnt seem to be an issue with Doze, and I don't use greenify.
Dear All,
Ever since my software updated a couple of weeks ago I cannot use Instagram unless connected through wi-fi.
I did not change any settings, the option for data usage in Instagram settings is switched to 'on' but whenever I try to connect I get the 'Couldn't refresh feed' message on my screen. I receive notifications when users I follow post something but I cannot see content unless on wi-fi network. All other apps on my phone are working normally. I tried restarting my phone and reinstalling Instagram app but there was no use...
Anyone experienced a similar issue?
Any feedback is appreciated!
Thanks!
I have the exact same problem after the last Instagram update.
I also have Huawei P9 lite.
Have no idea what to do, how to solve this.
But since we are two with the same phone with exactly the same problem, it might be a combination of Instagram and something specific about Huawei P9 lite.
Hello,
recently I decided to update my Mi A1 to Android 9.0. Unfortunately it turns out that I have a big problem with notifications. Sometimes they come "normally", at the time they should. However, it often happens that notifications appear with a delay of 10-30 minutes. Sometimes they don't even come at all until I turn on the screen. In this case of course I am talking about the lack of notifications when the phone is unused. However, I once had a case when notifications from Facebook Messenger did not come for more than 3 hours, despite the use of the phone - car navigation, browsing the Internet, notes, etc. Messenger didn't show notifications of new messages until I opened it. I've tried to turn off the adaptive battery mode, but it did not help. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Everything worked well on Android 8.0, but I do not feel like going back to it again.

Try This
- Open settings
- Type battery optimization in search bar and enter and wait loading

- Scroll to messenger an Click on it and select Don't optimize
you can do this with any app

I will try this, hope it helps. However on Android 8.0 I had optimization turned on and notifications were working fine.
Greetings. Since the last update of MIUI 12 (12.0.8.0.QFJMIXM - (Global Stable), notifications of (WhatsApp
and Telegram) when the mobile is idle. Sometimes they come and sometimes they don't. When the notifications do not reach me with the mobile at rest, when I pick up the mobile or activate the screen, they arrive.
I have tried all the options related to notifications and cannot solve the problem.
Thanks.
- Xiaomi Mi 9T Global
Versión global V.12.0.8.0.QFJMIXM (MIUI12) ANDROID 10 (Estable global)
There was a thread with the same issue, just search. It was related to power saving
I continue with the problem of lag in notifications, I have tried what is recommended in these cases.
App permission, battery saver, app launch, app lock on startup. Etc.
As much as I try there is no way. The problem is that the notifications arrive when the phone wants, sometimes either with a delay, or they simply arrive when I pick up the phone with my hand, sometimes not even like that, just by activating the screen. It happens to me with all notifications regardless of the application.
I would appreciate any solution or something to guide me to solve the problem.
Thank you.
