When you open the recent apps in landscape mode, there is very obvious lag.
We need a fix for this.
Is this happening to you too?

I used the various hacks and apps to bring home screen rotation early on but disabled it after a while, finding the rotation incredibly laggy.
Well after the new update, rotation is enabled but again is very laggy indeed. Any way to disable it without disabling rotation in apps?

Maybe try a different launcher like Nova Launcher. it has settings to force rotation to portrait or landscape.
FWIW, it sounds like you have a sensor problem. Mine is not laggy with Nova or stock.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Has anyone found that on pure stock including stock launcher
If you install Facebook, the homescreen/app drawer stops auto rotating?
Still works in apps (games, chrome etc.) but the homescreen is then locked to portrait even if auto rotate is ticked in settings.
Uninstalled Facebook and voila homescreen started rotating again....
Can anybody tell me a landscape rotation app that is compatible with the note 3 touchwiz. Because in home screen when in forced landscape mode using apps from playstore, the proportion is bugged.

Oh thank gawd! I'm not the only one! I too am having this issue (tmus) and posted that question today there:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590080
Basically I was using "Ultimate Rotation Control" and it works great on all my previous galaxies but on the Note 3 it looks like the icon and widgets are trying to stay in a forced portrait mode. However my background image looks fine, go figure.
However you can change your launcher to GoLauncher and that should work for you just fine. I prefer GoLauncher myself because it has a calendar widget that none of the other launchers seem to have.
Hopefully the makers of URC fix their app because its not working now.
Not to my knowledge.
If you change to Apex, Nova or another launcher, though, you'll have that as an option amongst plenty of others... Not to mention less resource usages.
I sometimes see stuttering in the animation when I close apps (ie. Chrome), more prominent if I open/close quickly. The opening animation is fluid, only the closing (which is like a fading animation) stutters. I'm not really sure what the cause is...I tried the stock launcher (i'm running Cloudy G3 2.2) and there's no lag whatsoever when opening/closing. I also tried Apex launcher and no lag either. I like Nova Launcher and would rather use it over Apex, so was wondering if anyone else experienced this and had a fix.
