Google camera for Oreo bets 8.1

Apologies if this has already been asked, but is there a working Google Camera APK for Oreo beta 8.1?

scroll down and look for "cstark27_GCam_5.1.018_24_v3.6 (cstark27, 2018-02-24, changelog)" version this one works best with essential phone. So far everything works EXCEPT slow motion. hopefully it will get updated to do so.

Downloaded this version and working well so far. Thank you.

Slow Motion is what I looking for , so sad isnt working!!!

I am not rooted and it works perfectly fine.

So your slowmotion works? I mean, if you installed a custom rom, maybe... But the media profiles can't be edited without root.

Sorry what i meant was everything on the gcam works perfectly except slow motion. The image quality is by far better on the gcam than the stock camera. im not root or on any custom rom

You should go root with magisk, GCAM is much more enjoyable that way.

Motion photos
Do any of the versions have working Motion Photos? I've got the one you recommended, but there is no Motion Photos on it.

Set 2017 pixel hdr zsl as config type, open dev settings, toggle camera.enable.micro, force close and reopen gcam

Arnovas latest version works wel with motion photo. I believe its Arnova's v7beat9. The name is highlighted in red.

No debug mode. There's the Developer Settings where I toggled: camera.enable.micro.

That uses 6p profile so it won't work anyways. Get skulshady 4.0 auto version.

Some issues with GCam on Zenfone Max pro M1

GCam is working fine most of the times. I am using the latest recommended version V5.1 that requires no set up. Images are great albeit quite some noise, however my main issue is with evening shots like taking sunsets,the lower left corner exhibits ugly pink noisey vignetting and the whole image has a slight pink hue to it. I have enabled the toggle in the settings to fix this pink hue issue but it still persists. Please help me fix this. May be recommend another version.

i have the same issue, just try another version or turn off HDR+ option.

Hi, I flashed pico Gapps and HDR mode doesn't work. Taking pictures goes well. How to resolve this problem?
And It works at HavocOS 26.11.18 ROM. From some verison and up, it doesn't work- no update works. It is on different custom ROMS too. How to fix it?
I'm using V8.3build of GCAM. :/

The bsg mod has a bit so bad night mode working on my stock oreo. Maybe that can be a temporary alternate solution

Yes. it's not that good but more like okay-ish. I think you need pie for better post image processing

Thanks. The size of the apk is 100mb+. Usually the gcams are around 40mb. Why is it such a large file?

Idk. But the pixel 3 mod usually have sizes around 100mb ig. what u r talking about includes ports such as pixel 2 mod. This one also has more features maybe thats y it has bigger size. Anyway always check it before u try and always try at your own risk.

Yeah I have that issue too but it's on my gcam pixel 3 mod. I could only suggest using fu24mod which is also stable and has rest of the features except night sight

Best Gcam settings?

I've recently installed gcam on my Mi A1, and I'm really impressed with it, but I've noticed that there a lot settings, tweaks etc. Can someone tell me what's the best settings for Mi A1?
P.S. I've installed Arnova's v.8.2.
P.P.S. Please don't make me install another version of gcam! (don't ask why!)

The default settings are good.
I normally set auto exposure to min iso for night pics and Nexus6p model is enabled. Maybe remove pink/magenta in lowlight but I need to test it first on v8.2. Len blur and HDR parameters is set to lowest (default), no point any higher because the phone is not fast enough.

I'm using fu24 gcam for selfies and san1ty f1 for back camera on Pie. Just remember to set at 9 mpx resolution for autofocus bug.

Thx dude, but i don't use selfia cam, just back camera for awesome photos, so no solution how to avoid that pink/magento?

Its under advanced settings.

32bit Gcam Mod

For those on stock ROM, there is a modded Gcam that works on 32bit. This Gcam does not have all features, only HDR+ on rear Camera, front HDR is borked so needs disabling in the settings if front camera is used. You also need camera2 api support by adding this to your build.prop, "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1".
The camera was made for Nougat but works on stock Oreo also.

No, as I said in OP, only HDR+ on main camera. Most features definitely need 64bit rom.

I have been informed that by changing the default black level for front camera to 16, HDR+ works. I can confirm this is true. Thanks to XDA user capedukewuhaha for pointing that out.
Also I can confirm that this 32bit mod actually works better than all the 64bit GCams I have tried on custom ROMs. I am on linage now and this camera works best.

There is hdr+ and less image processing. Stock camera is better for video, I use both cameras when on stock. If the extra hdr is not important I'd stick with stock since you can use Snapseed to get a similar hdr+ effect on photos. I have something else in testing that reduces the over image processing of stock camera which I will post if it works on Z2P(originally it is for Moto G5 plus, both same hardware almost).

You need root. Add the camera2 api line to your build.prop.
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1

Settings GCam HDR+ 3.2.045.
Model and both cameras - choose Nexus6P.
HDR+ parameters - Super High.
What the front-facing camera would work in HDR+ - Black Level Value(Front) to choose - 17 (but will work both with 16 and with 15 if it is necessary).
What the back camera would record of video - in Resolution & quality - Enable video stabilization(switch off).
With these settings works all but slow motion.

It was only available on the linked site, I don't use this camera so don't have it. I use Resurrection Remix which uses 64bit camera.

Anyway, this app is very buggy, if u want to take good shots with it set model to Nexus 6p and auto exposure correction to *2 or Min.ISO.
Remember API2 must be enabled (on stock rom).
But, you won't get amazing pictures with this apk (our sensor, Sony IMX362, is capable of a lot more in terms of quality), HDR+ Algorithm is not very good.
I fixed focus of a bunch of gcams for our device, will post here later maybe (this subforum is dead). You will need 64 bit OS.

I've noticed that night works much better when Pixel AWB is turned on from the settings. However, please note that the video recording isn't working for me with this version. This one is mainly for Night Sight and Super res zoom etc.
