Hi,
So I was trying to get my S5 Plus G901F back to stock by flashing a stock based custom rom. The problem is I was doing some other stuff at the same time and I ended up downloading a G900F rom. Surprisingly, TWRP flashed the rom without any problems but the phone could not boot into the rom. Somehow, it went really wrong and now, my G901F says on download mode:
-Product name: SM-G900F.
It goes even worse. I'm no longer able to flash any G901F firmware (downloaded from Samsung website) as it will show an error like "FAIL (auth)".
The funny thing is that I'm able to flash G900F firmwares but they wont boot at all since the phone will get stuck on bootloop as you might expect.
I've tried a 4 part firmware + pit file like this one: https://mega.nz/#!3RJW2LSZ!C8zXCw_JX_izmAVGfxD2Rm5chaefd7MWg_etlK7oQ8E
But it shows this error:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
While on the phone it says: SECURE CHECK FAIL: PIT.
Is there any chance to go back to stock? I'm still able to enter download/fastboot mode and recovery mode.
P.d: I've installed latest drivers and I've tried several USB ports on my PC with latest win10.
Thank you all by advance.

I don't have this variant myself but, you may be able to flash the correct firmware using the following Patched Odin.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3762572
I've never needed it myself but, It looks like it's Patched to prevent the checks that cause the Auth error.
Just a suggestion...
Good Luck!

UNLESS asked to do so, PLEASE don't PM me regarding support. Sent using The ClaRetoX Forum App on my Enigma Machine {aenigma = Latin for "Riddle"}.

Hello people. Need help :-(
I have a GT-P6800 Preproduction version. Downloaded odin 1.85 downloaded latest stock firmware for it and decided to flash it. (the firmware on preproduction was horrible unusable) So I installed latest kies, ended kies processes entered tab in download mode. windows installed drivers n.p. saw my tab no problem but didnt complete flash :-( See attached picture :-(
After that id displayed to connect to kies to recover after an unsuccessful flash. Kies didn't recognize it. Then I desperately tried to flash cwm and YES!! It flashed and old shi**y preproduction os booted np :-(
I then decided to flash again but again and again bricked tab and reflashed back CWM.
And then I decided to clean dalvik cache from CWM and reset etc. after that android asked me for a password?!?! But I didn't apply any password :-( Then tried again and again and ruined so that download mode and CWM are still available but tab doesn't boot and is stuck on displaying galaxy tab 7.7 black screen :-( Please help! :-(

hello, I'm like you, I have a pre-production model and I flashed my tablet with the following firmware: p6800 ZSLA2 ... with Odin. ... It works perfectly .... I advise you to do after you reset your tablet. ...
a hong kong version? ok thanks I will try it. Will be cool if it work
you can find the firmware in the next post .....
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1469635
The same error second screenshot
sorry, I can t help more but I advice you read topics in this forum about people who brické their machines ... it can help..... You should know that every time you flash your machine ... the internal memory becomes heavier weight of firmware .... and as you have flashed your machine many times, it n 'there can be more memory spaces? this is hypothetical ...
HY people! And I need help.
My problem is same as post no 1., from maximusl
I have 6810 (WiFi only) softbrick
My unit...
Kernel v.
2.6.36-P6810XXKJ2-CL558808
[email protected] #3
Build no:
HTJ85B.XXKI6 P6810XXKI6
In odin i get FAIL!
That firmware i can flash this unit with IR port?
I'm an impatient idiot. Lol I accidentally flashed the wrong kernal through Odin and now the phone won't boot. Phone is an international model bought in Hong Kong. I flashed this one which is a kernal for NE2 (Old Rom Kernel for G900F ONLY, use F6 KERNEL FOR G900FD):
KERNEL_G900FXXU1ANE2.tar.md5
I found it on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-root-triggering-knox-2nd-method-t2843044
So now the phone won't boot but I can get into Download and Recovery mode. Can someone please tell me how to install/flash the correct kernal. Do I need to flash the stock software or can I install a custom ROM which will also include the correct kernal. Please help! Any links to the correct download would be great!
Thanks in advance.

That is easier to fix than flashing the wrong modem. Just flash a stock SM-G900F and you should be fine. You may opt to Wipe your Internal Memory and data clean to benefit from flashing.
Thanks, I flashed the stock with Odin and it works a treat.
Can I flash the Tmobile rom for the SM-T377A (AT&T) over the top with Odin and have it work out ok? Im assuming they are the same exact hardware. Thanks
smt377t
i have the tmobile version of this tablet.
do u know if i can root my device?
can u recoomend a good rom?
Unfortunately it will not work that way when they write the programs for these devices they write them as stated sm-T377t is for t-mobile, and sm-T377A is specifically for at&t
SM-T377A Samsung AT&T Marshmallow or Nouget Stock ROM
Hey everyone,
I successfully rooted my LG V-20 and I really enjoy how nicely my phone works now. Smoort, responsive and everything is editable (within reason of course).. So, I have set my sights on my tablet.
Samsung E Tab
(Model: SM-T377A)
AT&T varient
Android 6.01 (Marshmallow)
- I have tried every possible combination of flashing the tablet with Odin. (all 3.x versions)
- This includes trying the COMBO package, the 4 part flash with or without using the PIT file and I also tried just the 'boot.img' falsh (with PIT and without PIT)
- If I include the PIT file then it very dependably fails via the PIT error.
- I have also done the Factory Reset and made sure I used the proper drivers, matched the Build number with the flash file that I am trying to use. (ATT_T337AU.....)
- I have also Unlocked the Bootloader via the Developer settings within Android andUSB debugging (per usual)
- Below is what I have been getting plus/minus a a couple of variable details

The only thing I haven't tried is using either Marshmallow or Nougat. I thought that Lollipop or Kit-kat would work (or it was worth trying)
With all of that said, does someone have either the silver bullet suggestion on what I need to do to or have a good copy of the AT&T E-Tab series ROM???
Specifically: 6.01 or 7.01 ROM for SM-T377A ROM
It would make me so happy, THANK YOU,
Davis

With my little experiençe you can not downgrade
You need to find same firmware or higher before Odin can work
My bad... I got it...
I have an unlocked Galaxy S8. I flashed it with the stock Sprint rom to get Sprint visual voicemail and wifi calling features. Doing so changed the model of my phone from SM-G950U1 to SM-G950U. Now, I am unable to flash back to the stock rom because Odin says the model number doesn't match. What can I do to revert back to the stock rom for the unlocked S8 with region code XAA? All help is appreciated.

I recently reverted back from T-Mobile firmware to unlocked S8 as it used to be. You need to use custom Odin, not the regular one.
Do the section where is says "Flashing Unlocked Firmware"
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/snap-guide-flashing-standard-fw-carrier-t3625817

Same happend to me, sadly the walkthrough linked above does not work for my SM-G950F (Exynos, cz version)
Mobile had TWRP+LineageOS 17.1 installed, is currently in Odin download mode and both version of odin (PrinceComsy 3.12 and Samsung's 3.14) look like in the picture below, they always get stuck like this.

Odin failing at sboot.bin could mean you are flashing wrong firmware for your phone or your trying to flash older version firmware than what is on your phone(bootloader version). Have you tried latest firmware g950fxxu4cri5.
Yes,I think it's the last one for my phone,actually using RENOVATE_ICE_G95X-13.4,but now I see that it was locked to a Portuguese operator, MEO and I'm trying to flash the unlocked operator rom, could it be that?

Could be. I don't use carrier branded firmware and if I can help it never will there's enough crap just with Google and Samsung. If it does fail with unbranded (carrier) firmware then flash the carrier version. Either way you will more than likely need the latest firmware version to return to stock rom.

it doesn´t want to cooperate,already tested a Carrier rom and unbranded and the error it´s always the same,after loading the binaries on Odin and the COM port get´s blues it fails on the first step.
Finally made it,using this tool https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
Thanks spawnlives for your help.
