Hi all,
I'm having trouble flashing custom rom in my Zenfone Max Pro M1. All custom roms that i've tried, i received the same error. It says something like this:
"E3004: This package is for device: X00TD, X00T; This device is ASUS_X00TD"
And then some red colored sentence: "Updater process ended with ERROR: 7"
Is there any way i can change my device name or anything so that i can flash custom rom. Currently i'm using stock rom 339 that i downloaded from here.
p/s: Before i use current stock rom, i can flash any custom rom

Hi guys,
I had many many types of cellphones, rooted, custom roms, etc. But I never seen this situation, when I want to install in TRWP some custom rom for N910F installer give an error7 a wrote me, that my phone is not 910F (trltexx) but 910G.
But original stock rom show me 910F (AIDA64 too). Only one rom I had installed its nameless rom and after instal sysinfo tell me that I have 910G...
So whats the mess ???

Hey I'm using a redmi 2 (1gb) ,I'm currently on custom ROM but I want to revert back to stock miui ROM but when I try to install it says 7 error and this ROM is for HM 13 ,and my ROM version is HM 18 Indian ,can u help me please ... ,how can I install stock ROM using twrp
if you want to revert to stock, use fastboot method don't use twrp!

I am also looking for a solution, I tried to flash the rom stock via twrp without success.
Try installing Chinese ROM through Nubia emergency recovery, then you can install the european firmware

Ok, so I found a stock ROM. It is found here. Also, you need the correct version, if you have stock recovery it should be written on top of the screen. If you don't have stock recovery, you should install it. I have it here.
