No,will update to pie. The xiaomi's Engineer said ,mi6 will update gpu driver , support game turbo,and update to android pie at weibo.bad english.

They said it will be in Q1 2019 early last year. Now it's delayed again. With tons of new device line redmi6, redmi 7, poco, mi a2 etc. I doubted we will get any Pie for sagit. Go custom since most Pie rom has already stable.
According to miui.com admin android P for Mi6 is now in internal testing so Q2 is possible.
"9.4.11 was the last Weekly for Mi 6 that's based on Android 8.
Next release will be Android 9, we just don't know whether it'll be next week or after a certain internal testing period." Igor Eisberg dev from xiaomi.eu
Global beta for mi6 is suspended because they are testing android pie. Finally great news but its interesting how things look with widevine drm, camera api 2 and project treble. I think nothing will be change in this aspects.

Would it be possible for someone to add the latest security patch to the last MIUI 9 rom for the Xiaomi Mi 2/S? It runs so smooth on my Mi 2, however I'm afraid to use it since it has a very outdated security patch. Thanx

Yes, mi 9t/redmi k20 get android 11 with miui 12.5.
Official release time not confirmed. For mi 10 and some newer device, end of april confirmed.
A11 but for now with MIUI 12.1 released for Global - miui_DAVINCIGlobal_V12.1.2.0.RFJMIXM_11.0
If anybody installed, please comment how it works (I'm still on Xiaomi.eu, with A11 and MIUI 12.6)
