Again a New Software Update for galaxy S6 (G920I)

Previous Version of update on my phone was dated 8th MAY 2015, now today i got one more update...Who else got it?

At my place(Hong Kong) BOE is released today for S6E but still no luck on S6, will check it again tomorrow. According to report, idle doesn't drain much battery now and the phone is faster.

It does not break root, I just rooted with it.

It is, check the build number and security patch level (it says November 1st). That's the beta 3

The beta 3 update is ota and you will only receive this update if you're subscribed to the beta program.
I'm stuck here too. There seems to be no other thing than to wait for the official nougat version..

It kind of does performance wise, battery wise, not so much. 3hours SOT maximum... Facebook crashing and WiFi randomly turning on and off without connecting.

OK, I don't use Facebook. The Sot time is not the best but no deal breaker for me.
I never use WiFi my 4g+ is so damm fast and I have unlimited data :good:

New update for Chinese Mate 9/Mate 9 Pro: MHA-AL00C00B173

Changelog is as follows:
This update optimizes system performance and stability for smoother operations.
Improves system performance and stability for smoother operations. Optimizes power consumption for longer usage. Optimizes the response speed when you touch an icon in the notifications panel. Enables 4G for China Mobile SIM cards by default. Deletes the 4G switch in the shortcuts panel.
Also LON-AL00C00B173 available for Mate 9 Pro/Porsche, Chinese version.

Next update: Adds the 4G switch in the shortcuts panel...
p.s. just a joke)

Thanks for the heads up. Got the update. Notice the touch is really responsive., Amazing speed now. Wait to see if it has even better battery performance.

I haven't tried it yet. I think you've had it for about a day now, how's the battery life?

Hopefully US gets all this stuff rolled up into the 'alexa update' in march because otherwise... its almost like they forgot they released a US version lol.

What about notifications issue with apps like Facebook, messenger, Instagram, Viber, Twitter....
Does they solve the problem....?

Have you try update from hicare app.... You have to go first in settings put Asia & then China.... After that go to services and updates

I feel the Phone more responsive, the touch screen more sensitive. Notifications still bugged.

It worked, dowloading...

Huawei's update policy is very strange. I'm in China, using the AL00C00B167 version, but Hi Care and System Update both say I'm using the latest version

I checked in HiCare appa and my location says China, I'm still on B167 and whenever I check for updates it says my phone is up to date.

but - changing to "china" will that not badly affect the language of the phone, or is all that "android" controlled ??
I am currently on LON-L29C432B156
will I benefit from updating through china ??
will I get Nougat 7.1 `???
Also, when I change to China - I receive a message saying: please log in using credentials used for registration in china.

Major bugs have been fixed but gestures lag a bit sometimes

knowing xiaomi devs, the "patch" (what a paradox) if we can even call it a patch will most likely bring even more bugs on this wreck of a software,
it really a shame for such good piece of hardware

I bet the settings notification bug will not fixed at this update

In one forum in mi a2 section, some people voted that they received February patch when someone asked. Not really sure if they voted although they use other mobile phone or what, but it might be that in next 24h could be added or something in other regions too?

Did you turn off the voice settings in the Google app? Also something that I found out that works if you have the bug where you can't hear anyone and have to toggle the speaker, put you sim card in slot 2.

Do you even understand English mate? I never said it is released 100%. I said people VOTED and said yes and I also said that maybe they voted for "yes" because they use other phone but voted in MI A2 section.
Mainly they are in region of india, I think.

At least the developer community works on crashing bugs every day, and for free. Xiaomi meanwhile for every update brings more damage than good, always.

Xiamo A2, Android 10 with January 2020 updates.
and yeah it is delayed because of coronavirus. we might not need a phone anymore as the society collapses and world comes to end, who knows...
