Bad news for S6 and S6 Edge brazilian customers. According to Samsung Brasil, answering a customer in this tweet and reported to some news portals, brazilian versions os these phones does not have MST support for payments, only NFC. The company then decide support in Brazil only theirs phone MST enabled (S7, S7 Edge, A5 and A7 2016 version and Note 5).
It's a confusing thing. Samsung announced the phones with later Samsung Pay support and MST enabled worldwide. Also, brazilian version is the same as India, the G920I. Does anyone know anything about this case of missing MST feature?
There is a online petition in course here and costumers (including me) will act against the company for false advertising. Brazil has very specific laws against it.
This is something that I wondered about. The Indian version does not have a test for MST hardware in the *#0*# Test menu whereas other models have it. I think this model doesn't have hardware support for MST.

I cound't find MST or NFC test... any connective test in fact.
Is It in the main *#0*# menu?
Well the China and HongKong G9200 models also dont have MFT support and Samsung Pay was supposed to launch here in early 2016 while Apple Pay has already launched since a month or so. Disappointing that only NFC will be available. I am mostly going to root if i find a good MM custom rom my device.

I think the test is present only on US carrier locked models. It is supposed to be on the front menu. I had seen it in a video but I don't remember which one.
I don't know if the test is not present in other units due to hardware limitations though.
I was informed about this by one of the Samsung guy in May 2015. He said that Indian version doesn't have MST, so we won't get Samsung Pay. I had particularly enquired about it for S6 which I was about to buy.

You can get Google Pay. Samsung Pay is only for Samsung devices.
I have a HK Variant S10 plus which is working just fine in the UK. Even the HK samsung pay works well on the phone.
However, I cant get samsung pay on my Samsung Gear S3 Smartwatch.
I assume that because I have a UK watch and the HK Phone, that I cannot download the Samsung Pay Watch Plugin via the phone.
Can anyone suggest a way to get round this? Really would like to use Pay on the watch.

****EDIT**** This is resolved.
Opening up Samsung pay from the Samsung wearable app forces the correct update on both the phone and the watch and allows Pay to work on the watch.
