I think there is a problem with your magnetic sensor responsible for the S cover.
Yes it's the Sview window. I think your magnetic sensor is somehow acting wrong.
This Xposed module disables it.

Do you have sometimes a normal screen? Then you could try to install it. (install Xposed framework first).
If not then I think you could try a AOSP based rom. I don't think they use that sensor.
Hi, yesterday I had an accident. My phone dropped to concrete floor. I have QW case. Display is not cracked but there are some color lines. I could fix that with light slam but now it is totally KO. When i turn ON display there are some blue lines but after few seconds there is more and more white color. Is there any chance that I could fix that without switching display? Thanks.

Honestly, it is probably done for. Before you throw in the towel, you can try opening up the back and unplugging and replugging in the connections from the screen to the boards. Watch a disassembly/reassembly video on YouTube first!

Good Luck!!!
Same here, unplug & replug connection 'll solve this problem ?
Its probably the connectors. Do check them as an user already suggested.
If the problem still persists, you need to replace it.
BTW may i ask what ROM are you using?
I´m using RR 6.0.1 MM
As the tillte, My A5 2016 works as normal, however, one mornig day, i recognised my finger print not work at all. I cannot even set any kinds of lock screen (pattern, password, fingerprints, ...)
I have tried lots of ways including wipe cache, data; restore to stock rom; press and hold strongly Home button, but no thing changes.
Now, i can use my a5 as normal except Fingerprints not working and cannot set any kinds of lock screen.
Does somebody face to problem as me? I want to know if my fingerprint is broken or not? and, If i replace the new one (hardware), the phone will work as it used to be or not?
Thank all for reading my trouble. Here is the picture!

Hi!
My girlfriend just bought a P smart about 3 weeks ago. Today she slightly hit her phone and now the bottom of the screen looks like this. Any other options then giving it to the seller would be great because we dont want to wait weeks for the repair.
Thanks for the answers!
Csinka

It has . Thats the saddest thing about that. :/
Try restarting the device which by now you probably definitely have. Factory resetting might fix the issue but i don't think so. If i were you i would just give it to the seller for a repair.
