P Smart 2019 - Headphone Remote Problem - Huawei P Smart Questions & Answers

Hi folks,
I noticed that on both the original Huawei headset as well as a JBL headset (both wired) the respective remote control on the headsets stops responding after some time or a various number of clicks when listening to the music.
The music continues to run normally on the headphones and can also be skipped and paused via the app but not over the button on the cable. The Google Assistant will also no longer pop up when the button is pressed for a longer time.
When I reboot the phone without touching anything on the cable or pull it out and reinsert, the remote works again normally ...
I've already performed a hard-reset with a complete new installation which did not change anything about the behavior described above.
I'm a little bit concerned that it's a defective hardware....
But this should be a software problem if a simple reboot fixes that problem???

Android 5.0 and Wired Headset Problem.

Recently, I factory reset my SGS5 (900i) and returned to a stock Android 5.0 ROM.
Since then, I have noticed that whenever I plug a pair of Phillips wired headphones into the jack, I can't use the single button on the headset without soft booting the phone. I plug the headset in and choose the app I want to listen to audio through but the button doesn't respond. However, if I reboot my phone, I regain full functionality for a little while before the problem returns. The issue is not confined to a single set of headphones and the headphones work perfectly in other devices. I believe the issue is related to the Android OS.
I read that it might be an issue with Now cards so I disabled them and I thought I might have solved it. However the problem has persisted.

Problems with nexus 6p when listening to music

Hey guys
I just registered because I experienced some problems with my recently bought nexus 6p. I really like this phone but as soon as I start listening to music using headphones the bugs are invading my phone since I didn't find anything on Google I start this thread.
But let's get to my problem:
I plug in my headphones and start playing music (using blackplayer and Google music). When the screen is turned on the volume turns down itself (I can see the volume bar going down to zero like I'm pressing the button). Also sometimes the powerbutton stops working and I have to restart my phone long pressing the power button.
But also when the screen is turned out I experience some problems. One of the most annoying ones is that music stops and starts randomly (but only when headphones are plugged in!!!). The other bug is music stopping, display turns on and some female voice tells me "Bitte warten! (please wait)" and the screen is gray saying "initializing".
Has someone experienced similar problems? What could help? If you guys need any more information just tell me
I have none of these problems. Have you tried a different set of headphones?
Change your headphones or ensure that they're set up properly. I'm guessing they're wired.
I'm also running into this same issue. I have the latest updates on my phone. This happens about 25 minutes in to listening to media. I've heard that disabling "OK Google detection" fixes it. This hasn't worked for me.
Sounds like wired headphones with a faulty connection to the phones, or faulty buttons on the headphones. I have seen similar behavior with just a wired connection to an AUX Input. The connection on the wire was faulty and due to changing resistance, it looked to the phone like headphone buttons were being pressed. Could also be a fault at the headphone jack on the phone, but it was not in my case. Definitely try other headphones to help narrow down the issue.

Bluetooth headset button control not working on 6p?

I can't get the button on a Bluetooth headset to properly control Google Play Music. The single button play/pauses correctly but double clicking doesn't skip to the next track. I've tried several apps from the app store (Headset Button Controller, Headset Control Tester, JAYS Headset Control, Smart Key, even Poweramp media player) to fix the issue none of them worked.
I'm not sure if those apps aren't compatible with the latest version of Android or if there's another Android service that's intercepting the bluetooth button clicks/commands. The Headset Button Controller app has a debug mode that's supposed to display a message detailing the command every time the button is clicked, which is similar to the entire purpose of the Headset Control Tester app. Neither app recognizes or displays anything when I click the button, the HBC FAQ says that could be because another app is instead taking the commands instead.
It's unsuccessful in Safe Mode as well, so if anything it's a default Android service that's causing this issue.
Does anyone have a bluetooth headset and have button controls working properly on 7.1.1?
Thank you
Edit: Actually, after restarting (and/or disabling the Google Play Music app) I can get the button click to be registered by the Headset Control Tester app (aka log). But it only registers single button clicks (as an ACTION_DOWN and ACTION_UP), double clicking the button (which produces a beep over the speakers) doesn't show up at all in the log.
on my headset I do a long press on volume up or down to skip songs... works on nougat

Problem with Bluetooth devices controlling phone's volume?

This is a unique problem I've never seen on any other device. When I connect to a Bluetooth speaker (like the Aukey SK-S1), pushing the volume buttons changes the Bluetooth volume of the phone. This means that the speaker jumps volume steps two at a time.
For the earphones I use (Tronsmart S5), they also do double steps when controlling volume with the phone (they don't have their own volume control IIRC) this means either they're quiet or they're a bit too loud for office work, no intermittent step. Very annoying. Is this an Essential Phone problem or one with stock Android? My old Huawei devices do not do this with either Bluetooth accessory.

The subject's volume decreases by itself spontaneously

Hi all! Is there anybody alive here? I have a question to duscuss...
Has anybody experienced the following thing?:
It's something like it is for Bluetooth connected devices, when the phone decreases the volume automatically after connection. But in my case I have no any Bluetooth devices connected. Moreover, I don't use them at all. And the effect appears spontaneously(at any time while the audio is playing) when I use the youtube app, google podcasts app or any other application that plays audio. It doesn't matter if it has video+ audio or just only audio. And if I increase the volume manually after the phone decreases it, after some time it happens again and again. It’s like the poltergeist controls the volume of my phone. Any ideas?
