There is some Recoverys and Su files to find with Google search but...
... There is no meta mode/bootloader (fastboot) drivers for the Blade v7.
If everybody has manage to root or unlock the bootloader share the drivers plz )
:fingers-crossed:
The bootloader can be unlocked in the Settings. Enable "Developer Options" by going to "Settings > About" and then click on the "Build Number" until you see a message "You are now a developer". From the General Settings a new menu option "Developer Settings" is now available. In "Developer Settings" there is a setting called "OEM Unlocking". Set it to true, then use fastboot to unlock the bootloader with "fastboot oem unlock"
Fastboot doesn't work (I'm on ArchLinux). It just doesn't detect the device at all, so after typing "fastboot oem unlock", it just says "< waiting for any device >"
ADB works, but I can't get fastboot to work (even as root)
I am experiencing the same issue on OSX. ADB works but fastboot doesn't ever connect. I wrote a script to run lsusb every second while switching the phone between recovery, bootloader, and normal boot. Here are the vendor ids with my notes in parentheses:
Code:
ID 0e8d:2000 MediaTek Inc. MT65xx Preloader (for 3 seconds pre boot)
ID 0e8d:2000 MediaTek Inc. MT65xx Android Phone (Bootloader)
ID 0e8d:2008 MediaTek Inc. MT65xx Android Phone Serial: 0123456789ABCDEF (OFF "charge screen")
ID 19d2:0307 19d2 BLADE Serial: 10063399 (During boot before decrypt volume screen [pin])
ID 19d2:0306 19d2 BLADE Serial: 10063399 (After entering in password to decrypt volume)
I wrote a script that ran
Code:
fastboot -i 0x0e82 devices
and
Code:
fastboot -i 0x19d2 devices
every second and it never returned anything during these different boot cycles. Recovery mode doesn't seem to produce any usb devices even after initiating an adb sideload. These tests were conducted with the Developer Option "OEM Unlocking" enabled in Marshmallow 6.0. The device is branded for the Telcel operator located in Mexico.
Are there really "drivers" that need to be installed above and beyond the android platform tools? It seems to me as if the fastboot interface to the bootloader was intentionally disabled by the manufacturer.
did anybody figure anything out? I tried using spft and flashing a recovery for a device which was basically identical however i seem to have bricked my device, (won't switch on, doesn't even light up when charging) if anybody figured anything out that'd be great
Fastboot
fastboot is only avaible when youre out of Metamode , you will still stuck there because you got no Serialnr .
Thats ok you dont need any to get root .
If someone wants to get root access pm me i´ve done it already.
I need an EU Stock ROM too so someone with an untouched EU ZTE BLADE V7 have to contact me pls :fingers-crossed::good:

You need to plug your phone into the computer in download mode after that and using Odin on a PC flash twrp.IMG.tar file for your specific device but make sure to turn off auto reboot in Odin.
Then once the file flashes successfully you need to pull out the battery, put it back in and reboot to recovery before doing anything else. If you reboot the os first then it will delete twrp and revert back to stock recovery so make sure to boot to recovery first

Installing a custom recovery is unlocking your bootloader. It means the same thing.
Here is the latest twrp in .tar format for your device (j5008) https://github.com/Galaxy-MSM8916/releases/releases/tag/TWRP-3.2.3-lineage-15.1_j8_20180921_j5ltechn

Are you sure that install a custom recovery will also unlock the bootloader? I don't think so! For me they are two different operation! Anyway my device is j510fn 2016 not j5008. Glad to start a conversation!

Put the phone into download mode and connect to PC
Click the AP tab in Odin and find your twrp.zip.tar file.
Disable auto reboot in Odin.
Flash the file.
Pull out the battery
Reboot to recovery before rebooting the os and BANG unlocked bootloader with twrp installed

One reason why I don't want to try rooting tools is that I want to backup my stock rom without root access.. So I want to install a custom recovery first but I only saw one for this device and it seems to be not working yet. I also want to extract my stock recovery.img but I need to fastboot boot TWRP for that
I'm also interested in just straight Rooting this device, not interested in ROMs etc. I tried APK KingRoot (latest) and after doing a 'Root Check' with an app it did not come back rooted. Can someone provide tools & steps for the newbie please?
much thanks

SuperSu app for root
I think you can try SuperSu, This Also the best app to get root access. Download SuperSu.
or find here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu
This is a hard fone to Root, the normal 1-Click Rooting Apps don't work in my trials. Kingroot & SuperSU both don't work.
This fone wont copy Apps to SD card either, I have APP2SD Pro & have tried loads of others. Has anyone got APP 2 SD to work? It sucks my fone out of memory already just with apps alone, no music or anything.....

Just change default location of storage to sd card. It works for me. To manually move apps to SD, just copy and paste the folders from data and obb in android folder of internal storage to external storage. I uses this to move the data of my games and it worked

just keep the same name and write fastboot flash recovery twrp-huawei-y5.img
THAT SOLVED THE ERROR
the trouble in huawei MYA-L13 android 6.0 is when flash recovery y5 2017 can go inside of that .
the scroll in down place, dont move all and just cant go inside twrp... all is ok the phone works. but can go inside twrp...

Can someone provide me MYA-L22 stock recovery.img ?
Note: This guide if for the non Prime variant of the Blu R1 HD running android 6.0. It will also factory reset your device
Before you start: make sure usb debugging is enabled by going to settings-about phone scroll down to build number and tap it until it says you are a developer. Then just go into developer settings, find usb debugging, and click enable.
1: go to http://bit.ly/2rYeWVh on your phone and download the zip
2: The first thing you will need to do is install Adb and fastboot on your computer from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
3: Once you have it installed, find the folder it installed into (usually either in c:/adb or in your downloads), and double click the Runme.bat
4: Once you're in the shell, run
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
this should boot your phone into its bootloader
5: Wait until your phone is in the bootloader (it should say something like "fastboot..."), and then run
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
This will unlock the bootloader and reset the phone. The process may take a few minutes to complete
6: Now that your bootloader is unlocked, you will need to install TWRP custom recovery. Since there isn't an official build for the BLU R1 HD, we will use a custom one. download from bit.ly/2BBJ8rp (original link was long) then place the recovery.img into your adb folder
7: then flash the recovery with
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
replace recovery.img with the name of the file if it is something different this should take about a minute to install.
8: once you have TWRP installed you can root. In the TWRP menu click install, then select the SupeSU zip you downloaded previously. Once that has installed you should be rooted
Please post questions below!

Your directions are incorrect and incomplete.
And not working for devices updated with OTA , because blue made changes to block the bootloader unlock option
And there are already multiple posts with this topic that are complete.
IDK that's just what I did for mine and none of the other tutorials we're were right for me so I wanted to share it if anyone else had the same problem. I bought my phone like three months ago though so the os should be recent. Any info I should share?
Also I could add the link text cuz I haven't posted enough

I was little harsh with first response. sorry
your steps were incorrect just in the"case" used.
Interested in your custom build number. It is displayed on the "about phone" section of setiings.
And you were able to unlock without changing the "allow oem unlock" setting is curious.
did you get phone refurbished or used?

I might have actually turned on oem unlocking some time in the past because I remember seeing the option, but when I was actually trying to root the phone and unlock it the option wasn't actually there. I had also factory reset the phone recently before the root and unlock so that shouldn't have mattered anyway. But yah, I was like, theres no option to enable that, Ill just try it without and it worked. And it did. The odd thing is though when I go to settings and search oem the option for oem unlocking comes up for developer settings, but when I click it there is nothing there. (Hopefully that makes sense)

To get around this just find the previous version stock rom from the blu dev site and flash it first. I have never seen a OEM unlock menu blanked out if that is what you're trying to say, in this case amazon and blu teamed up and you should be able to restore to original version without the OTA.
UPDATE:
I successfully unlocked the bootloader, flashed twrp, rooted, updated kernel and roms, tweaking gpu cpu for performance in pubg etc, greenify, flashify, power nap everything.
xposed framework take you in bootloop for this device.
now i am on kernel mk2000, superv20 rom, h91810u, 7 nougat.
if in future anyone feels any problem i am always here.
remember: linus is your friend for this device, and windows 10 suck.
and
sudo $(which fastboot) did miracles for me....

cause i have tried everything, when i say everything i mean everything. followed several posts on internet videos on you tube posts on XDA, tried using multiple PCs, multiple data cables, multiple drivers but for some reason i don't know what, this model's boot loader cannot be unlocked.
THE ERROR:
<WAITING FOR DEVICE> till eternity.
what i have done till now ?
1. lg drivers installed.
2. adb drivers installed with adb fastboot files.
3. updating legacy android adb interface driver, done.
4. went in to boot loader then connected the data cable and updated driver, done.
5. usb debugging oem unlock options activated, done.
6. restarted pc multiple times to update drivers, done.
we all know all it takes is 3 easy commands to unlock bootlaoder
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot reboot
but in my case i always stuck at 2nd command. waiting for device is shown and nothing happens.
then i ran command, adb devices>> it shows
List of devices attached
adb server is out of date. killing...
* daemon started successfully *
LGH9182bfc6bdc device
next i put the command, fastboot devices and nothing is shown i just go to the next line... c:\adb>
so this is for sure that my device is not connected to the fastboot.
now my only question is, can this device bootloader unlock or not ? so that i stop pushing my limits.
any help will be appreciated.
regards.

To be very precise after following the first step while unlocking the bootloader in the second step when we type fast boot devices it should show some hexadecimal numbers and it should confirm us that our device is in the fastboot mode but in my case whenever I type this command nothing happens that means my device is not recognised to go in the bootloader this is the main problem there is no point in following any of the posts if you cannot complete the very first stage of unlocking your bootloader if you can figure out what exactly is the problem I will be thankful to you because I have followed every step possible I've updated every ADB drivers LG drivers but nothing is helping out as even before starting the procedure of unlocking the bootloader my device is not going in the fast boot also I noticed one thing when I try to go inside the bootloader screen before that in my device manager it is shown as composit device but after that I think it gets disconnected fastboot oem unlock cannot work as it gives a message of waiting for the device after going are using the command ADB reboot bootloader so my problem is the command fastboot oem unlock is pretty useless as it waits for the device and it's stuck there forever please help me out if you can I will be thankful to you regards

Did you downgrade to software version H91810P? Because that should be the first thing you have to do to get everything else to work afterwards.

Thanks for the reply.
Can you please clear me one thing. To downgrade from h91820h to h91810p you need to unlock bootloader if i am not wrong. And in that case we will be back to square 1.
Its not about installing custom rom kernel recovery root or anything. Its only about unlocking the bootloader which i cannot do.
I hope you understand my pain.
I just want to unlock my bootloader thats it.
It used only 3 commands.
1. Adb devices - shows my device.
2. Fastboot devices - no fastboot device found.
This is the problem. When you cannot find any fastboot device even updating driver by going inside the bootloader the entire mission gets failed.
I cant find any solution for this. I dont know for what reason my device cannot be listed in fastboot mode.

fastboot doesn't work when the phone is booted up
adb reboot bootloader
followed by fastboot devices
Note: flashing the 10p kdz does not require the bootloader be unlocked
it requires you have patched LGUP
Example:
D:\fastboot>adb devices
List of devices attached
LGUS99740047103 device
D:\fastboot>adb reboot bootloader
D:\fastboot>fastboot oem device-id
...
(bootloader) ----------------------------------
(bootloader) Device-ID
(bootloader) F3D7DE171C893D55082EAE38270125EF
(bootloader) DA7CB3E78B1DB5709A2CA8********
(bootloader) ----------------------------------
OKAY [ 0.060s]
finished. total time: 0.060s
D:\fastboot>fastboot reboot
rebooting...
finished. total time: 0.008s
D:\fastboot>adb reboot bootloader
D:\fastboot>fastboot getvar unlocked
unlocked: no

As clsA said, flashing firmware does not require an unlocked bootloader.
Look at parts 1 and 2 of the other step by step guide here:

Thanks for the solution. May be this is it. All the time i have been doing it wrong.
Solution : flashing the 10p kdz does not require the bootloader be unlocked
it requires you have patched LGUP.
I will downgrade from 20h to 10p now and will give you feedback on this soon. Thanks a ton for showing a noob like me the right direction to work.

its all happening the same way it was happening when was on h91820h.
fastboot devices cannot be found.
once it reboots in bootloader then it should detect a fastboot device but it doesnot and adb is also lost there.
kindly help.
NEW UPDATE:
my lg v20 now on software h91810p is actually a T MOBILE version. and when i researched more about it i found out T MOBILE deliberately locks the boot loader of many devices and its unlockable.
possible work around can be if the software version installed on your phone can some how be an international version of your ROM, then only you can unlock the bootloader else none of your commands will work. now i am trying to flash this phone using an international ROM version if i succeed i will update. but according to my knowledge flashing other roms other than t mobile ones will definitely give errors in LGUP.

Do not flash another model's firmware onto the H918! Doing so will permanently brick your phone. The H918 in particular is incompatible with all other variants' software. Also, flashing H918 firmware onto any other model will also brick that phone.

Did you make the Linux USB boot stick
Are you following the guide at all?
PART 3: CREATING A BOOTABLE LINUX USB USING FWUL
DOWNLOAD FWUL_v2.7_x86_64_15GB.zip FROM THE LINK BELOW AND EXTRACT THE IMAGE FILE SOMEWHERE IN YOUR PC.
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=214529
DOWNLOAD RUFUS FROM BELOW AND INSTALL
https://rufus.akeo.ie/
INSERT A PEN DRIVE IN YOUR PC AND RUN RUFUS.
INSIDE RUFUS SELECT THE IMAGE FILE AND SELECT START (AFTER SELECTING START SELECT DD MODE IN THE DIALOGUE BOX) TO CREATE A BOOTABLE PEN DRIVE (WARNING: THIS WOULD FORMAT YOUR PEN DRIVE)
NOW YOU SHOULD BOOT YOUR PC FROM THE BOOTABLE USB STICK WHICH YOU HAVE JUST CREATED
THIS WOULD MAKE YOUR PC RUN LINUX OS
TYPE PASSWORD AS linux AND ENTER
