How can i make flashable kernel zip file from twrp backup file or boot.img file???
You can flash the .img file by switching twrp to img flash mode.
Very simple way:
Take other custom kernel zip file, replace it with your boot.img and flash. That's it.

You need to first go to kitkat or jb and you need to extract fastboot, recovery and boot image inside before sideloading.
download .87 flashable stock firmware on https://yadi.sk/d/skkFK2VIiWhQi and flash in TWRP after that reboot to fastboot and flash stock recovery in .87 zip file then relock your bootloader
I have not been able to find the latest Canadian Rom ( n910w8vls1dpk1 November 2016) in a twrp flashable zip.
Anyone have a link to one?
You mean a stock rom? Those are packaged in tar files and can only be flashed through Odin in Windows or Heimdall in Linux. TWRP flashes custom roms which are packaged in zip files.
I highly recommend a custom rom, such as LineageOS, which you can find in my signature under "trlte".
Hey, i looking for aome help.
Im trying to create a ROM for the Galaxy s8 g950f.
What i did was to take the stock system.img to supers kitchen and extract it, after that i build the img again (chainging nothing in it) and im getting a sparse img.
I take the new img to the AP and flash it to the phone, there i get system.img fail at the odin.
Stock ROM is flashed just fine with odin.
Any idea why is that? Or how should i open the system.img and change things in it?
OK, so coming from the oneplus 3t, we had to flash the firmware (just a flashable zip that contained ONLY the modem/and firmware, not the system or kernel or anything else). Why can't we do that with this phone? Why do we have to constantly flash the whole OOS ROM?
