I'm using it from yesterday and couldn't find photo resolution changing option in settings
Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
had the same problem .... first of all plese install the update if it is awailable ...
after that you go into cam ... open up the settings top left corner .... the you have the main (back) and front cam ....
here you cann choose 4:3 / 1:1 / full .... please notice that there is a second line .... for exemple ... just tip on the resolution and a drop down menu will pop up =)
the photo resolution cant be changed because of the 3 different cams have three differen resolutions ... it semms to be always the max settings

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but I set a picture to be my wallpaper and realised that at the home screen, it looks very blur. I checked the width and height of the picture and it is 480x800. Also when I view the picture in the photo gallery, it is much much sharper, like what it supposed to be.
Is there a way around this?
Thanks!
ave a look in the themes an apps section. 480 x 800 will show up unless you follows a guide on how to make it come up crystal.
Just do a search for Wallpaper Guide

I just tested my phone and no probs all wallpapers or pictures look great
Can I ask how you selected your wallpaper?
Was it through settings wallpaper?
or another method
I've also noticed this as some pics transfer fine and clear to the wallpaper and some look enlarged and blurry. I'm thinking it's the larger screen size vs. the pic resolution size. My pro at 2.8" was not an issue. It hasn't bothered me enough to seek a fix, I'm using mobile shell and selecting the change image option. Ureka!! thats it, the shell! Doh!!! just my $.02

yeah i had a diamond before this and the wallpapers looked great there.
but the funny part is that the pics look great and sharp when viewed in the photo gallery, but only becomes blur when used as wallpaper.
OH and they don't look enlarged lol. the wallpapaer keeps the size, but it's really blur.
Just use the search button and read the wiki, this is another one of those topics that have been done to death, there's heaps of information on it.
Pictures taken with the HD2 once selected automatically take up the whole screen and then you can zoom in further. I have imported photos well larger than the resolution of that taken by the camera and they are all cropped with a black border on top and bottom. I have tried resizing to 400x800 and 800x400 and 1024x480... etc and can't get my photos to display full screen like the stock included pics as well as all taken with the camera. Any help please?
the HD2 screen resolution is 480x800. Your photos need to be ratio 1.666....length/width.
Hello all,
when I want to set a photo as a contact icon, a frame shows up to crop a photo, but all the photos in the album are rotated to "best fit" or "actual orientation"...so in both cases, I can't rotate the photo to the best orientation, and I add the photo to 90 degree to the left.
How can I rotate the photo in the crop mode( set as contact icon mode) ?
p.s.: I know that I can rotate the photos from start>>Multimedia>>Pictures & Videos....this solution is useless in my case !
from start>>Multimedia>>Pictures & Videos
go to edit>rotate>menu>crop
then save it

When i'am seting picture on my home screen it changes the quality of the picture. It makes less better. How to make it to show picture in a best quality ?
Sorry for bad english.
if the picture is smaller than the screen of your touch 2
the picture quality would decrease automatically and if you are trying to set a picture that is bigger than the screen the quality wont decrease but u wont be able to view the whole picture
try looking for pictures that match your touch 2 resolution
I'am trying to set a much more bigger then the screen is but i get bad quality
This is real frustrating!!! Why would they make a camera that dont fit the wallpaper size, and how do i resize it? (Same for images i saved from the internet)
try using pinch to zoom...
I tried that. It will only put part of the picture as the wallpaper. The pictures are to big
Non of the camera resolutions are exact for the screen. You just got to crop its da only way. Or you can transfer the pic to computer, resize the whole pic to the resolution of screen than use it.
