Guys I want to install a fresh stock Rom on my galaxy s7 Edge g935-fd because my front camera is giving an error saying camera failed...so I hope maybe it fixes it... but when I flash there is an error and following is written in download mode of mobile.. "cant install,device 4 ,binary 3". I know it's due to security reason that we cannot downgrade the bootloader but it's the latest Rom available on sam mobile. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue just wait till the latest rom gets uploaded and you'll be fine flashing it
these S7s are not EZ to mess with. I have a stock one I want to install TWRP on but might not after reading all these problems.
Would be cool if a Dev here would do a guide on the exynos with oreo 8.0.0

Its very easy brother im doing it from past 3 years on my s7 never ran into a problem which can't be fixed. Just watch YouTube tutorials & you'll be fine!

you trying to flash stock from a Custom Rom? not sure if that matters.

Do you know about baseband and bootloader versions?

Hi. Actually my big bro send me mobile from UK. I am in Pakistan and want to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S4. I am not aware of recovery tips, baseband and bootloader versions. OS which installed earlier crashed and i am unable to install new FIRMWARE. i tried different firmware but all in vain.

Ok, you can try to install a custom recovery like TWRP. Here on XDA are lot of threads that explain this.
With custom recovery you can try to format, wipe, factor y reset and install new firmware

I have just been trying to go from a custom rom (Older Dr Keaton Rom) to marshmallow.
I downloaded the marshmallow firmware and after flashing in PC Odin I now get " Firmware Upgrade encountered an issue.Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again".
I have no certainty but suspect that it needs a different bootloader?
This is the marshmallow stock uk rom,

I have a N910F Note 4.

I can't remember how I fixed it, but I think it was just down to getting the correct rom to load into it. I am sorry but it was ages ago so I cant be sure...
It was either that I just found a rom that worked or changed the bootloader.

Ok guys, This has not been just a problem of mine but also every Galaxy J5 users. The marshmallow update has quite a good UI and other stuffs. But in long term use I found this really annoying. And I want to downgrade the firmware. So I downloaded the latest firmware from sammobile.com . Now using odin when I try downgrading, I get the problem

The model is:J500H(2015)
Is the downgrade really impossible? I even tried using TWRP but it isn't working either. I eagerly wanna go to lollipop while marshmallow is getting frustating day and again. So guys if you have any solution regarding this please suggest me..

Unfortunately, there isn't any way to downgrade as far as I know. It only happened for J500H and there is a warning thread, but not all people are aware of that...

Is it still the case? I tried flashing it recently and it just showed my green static and soft bricked my device.

ROM J500H U2 Downgrade FROM 6.0.1 To 5.1.1 | [Official] add the 01/04/2018 on Needrom
hellow Download this ROM and unzip it and put the phone in download mode and then flash this file with Edin.
and then remove the phone's battery and put it back in and go to recovery and factory reset the phone and then clear the cache and finally reboot and the phone will be downgraded to Android 5
hello guys please help me, i have a problem regarding in my J510GN.. i've download the correct roms for my model and i flash completely without errors to Andriod Nougat either stock or Custom roms but it will stuck at Samsung logo after reboot and did not proceed until the battery low ..but when i tried to downgrade in Marshmallow it works completely and having no issue..
Pleases anyone can tell me what i have to do about this issue ?? thanks a lot and godbless..

Can you flash marshmallow then update the stock rom's newer version from the "Software Update" ?

That rom is not on XDA suggest you contact the source.
Note you have N900T this is not TMobile note forum .
I have flash my note 3 n900t back to the OFW which is 5.0 when I try to install the the linkage file 7.1 and the GAPP file in recovery mode I keep getting an error message am I doing some thing wrong
Am new to this I watch some videos on YouTube and flash my n900t to 6.0 but after a wild I start to have net work problems so I did some more research an 7.1 firmware and it bring me to this site but for some reason when I try to install linkage and gapp file in recovery I keep getting an error message I don't really know what am doing am just watching videos and trying to flash it
