Though it has 18W(Quick charge 4) it will charge device fast compared to previous devices of Redmi.

Didn't tried to charge it from 0-100, but I did charge it from 26-94 and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes with the in-box charger. So yeah.
used 18W QC 3 charger of POCO F1, and it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge from 9% to 97%.
Does this mean the stock charger is QC 3.0? Did you guys get the same charger out of the box?

Oh.. That's sad.. And you're right.. my device was shipped from China..
I charged it from 0 to 100 using the charger that came with it. It took 110 minutes exactly
Mine results:
===================
1. stock charger with stock cable = 2:10 minutes(bad) @The speed of 1400-1800mAh
2. stock charger with fast charging cable = 2:00 minutes(not much) @The speed of 1400-1800mAh
3. MI QC3.0 with FCC = 1:50 minutes @The speed of 2000-2300mAh
4. Mi QC3.0 with stock cable = 1:55 minutes @Speed of 1400-1800mAh
Note: Once the mobile has started heating, the speed of the charging could reduce to below 1000mAh which is normal and during Summertime.

For a 4000mah battery, the RN7P charges very quickly with a Quick Charge / USB-PD compatible charger.
I use Mac type c charger. It's fast with 3.3 amps at peaks. Took 60 mins from 0 to 90%

Very disappointed. Never exceeds 2A
With original charger+cable, the speed is pretty good, surely way faster than my Samsung S7.
Way faster than my previous s9 plus
I figured out there are 3 different charing modes, normal charge, fast charge and SuperCharge...
I think it depends on the charger ....

Supercharge mode, which is the fastest possible, requires BOTH a compatible battery charger AND a compatible cable. Usually , cables have purple plug. Non-compatible systems can charge at fast charge speed, which is like quickcharge 3. Thanksfully, neither the charger nor the cable are very expensive.
When the battery is lower than 30%, I usually get 4,5V and 5A (measured with a device, not an app) which is what the plug says
It also takes 9V and more than 2A from my Power Delivery Charger, which is pretty good
Only with the adapter and cable that came with it it is super charging.. if I use Samsung's fast charging set up or any other set up it is only charging, slow!!!
Very disappointing.
Hello there.
I was wondering if there is an option for non-supercharge in android oreo settings.
I want to know that because i think that with supercharge, the battery life will reduce faster.

I wouldn't worry too much about it Otherwise, just use a different cable or charger than the stock one and Supercharging will stop working.

I was able to get almost 1 ampere but at 9V. This is almost as good in terms of power as the standard super charge adapter.
I am so glad that Huawei decided to make their devices compliant with the common standards so we can choose from a wider variety of charging options.

9V1A is nowhere near supercharging levels (4.5V5A or 5V4.5A)... its 9W compared to 22.5W of power!
Never used a Power Delivery Charger personally, and if it only does 9V1A, I won't anytime soon! A standard Huawei charger gives more power (5V2A - 10W)! And Huawei doesn't use the most common standard...Qualcomm Quick Charge, so we don't have have a wider variety at all!
for a first time user with a fast charge/ dash charge i'm really impress with the charging rate.
Fast charge with original charger and cable. about 30mins I went from 25 to about 86ish%
Charging works well for me.
Large Apple Charger, 80W Fast charges
Huawei Original Super Charges
Oneplus 5 Dash charger Charges normally
Galaxy S5 charger with a different cable - charges normally
Haven't measured the volt and A
Does any one know what the actual charging standard is called on a "technical" level?
Super-charge is hardly a tech spec

Believe it's close to 4000mA I think..
That's supercharging..but it'll lower as you gradually get higher..so speeds at 90% will be lower than at 10%
Coming from OnePlus3 - 0% to 60% in 30 min (tested many times), I am not impressed by the Huawei P20 pro supercharging...
Tested again today, I got from 9% to 45% in 30 min.
Huawei claims the P20 pro will do 0% to 85% in 45 minutes.
I got from 9% to 80% in 1 hour!
I am on the latest Pie Rom - 9.0.0.195 and using the original charger + cable.
Any suggestions? I don't have any other huawei charger to test with...
Also on a "regular" good quality charger (in the car) it is slower then the OnePlus3 (and I do realize it is 4000 vs. 3000 mAh capacity battery), but still feels much slower...

My issue is it hits 2500and then drops down to sometimea 550ma.?, I got no clue Y!
It charges a few point up and then slows its input into the phone. in the range of 700to 900ma. And also I have restarted the device, closed all apps. Useless and also charged it from 2%, It's still pathetic! Please advise as I feel this model may have a manufacturer defective possibility.,

Fast charging is a big joke on Huawei P20 Lite. The charger that comes with the box charges the phone by 30% in one hour. Would anything like changing the adapter work? Please help
You are right, the “quick charge” works as regular charge, I use to switch on “Ultra Battery” to save some time.
Hello.
The original charger which come with the phone really chanrges at 9V.
But the problem is that I have tested this phone with 3 other QC charges (Orico QSE-5U, Tronsmart TS-WC3PC, Tronsmart WC1T) and all of them charge the phone only with 5V 1A.
That is odd.
I get my phone from 20% to 100% in around one hour, like a QC 2.0 should.
Are you using your phone while charging?

That explains it then...the ones included in the box in India (and probably the subcontinent) is only 5V/2A, we'll have to buy the fast charger additionally. I tried motorola's turbocharger but that didn't work.
Will try to find a huawei fast charger and update here.

Sorry but the charger from this phone has an output of either 5V/2A OR 9V/2A.
Lithium batteries have problems with constant current and voltage. So these chargers have different outputs from 10W to 18W.
But still, this doesn't address the problems you're having: why is your phone charging so slow?
Are you charging while using it?

That's what...so here's what's written on the charger provided in the box, verbatim: "OUTPUT:5V=2A". That's all...
So I checked the Huawei website for the charger, and there's this quick charger which says, "OUTPUT:5V=2A OR 9V=2A". This is what is needed. They've probably compromised on the charger here.
Nevertheless, I got a full charge in a little less than 2 hours with the 5V charger (keeping the phone in airplane mode), which I think is decent as it was the first time it was being charged.
I have ordered the Huawei quick charger and will let you guys know if it works!

It's simple: apparently there are some regions that are recieving an official Huawei charger of only 5V/2A (10W), while other regions (like mine, Europe) are recieving a Huawei charger that goes from between 5V/2A (10W) and 9V/2A (18W). What happens is that the charger you have won't charge your phone as fast as it should.
The solution i recommend is to buy an official charger from Huawei.
for me exactly one hour charges my phone from 15% to 70% using the original QC charger (5V-2A or 9V-2A), is that good or just acceptable ?

Qc4.0 or qc3.0
Not sure how fast it charges but since I can never drain the battery completely in a single day (usually at 20-30% by the time I go to bed with heavy use), I turned off fast charging and charge the tablet while I sleep. It`s always fully charged by the time I wake up and hopefully turning off fast charging increases the longevity of the battery over the course of a few years.

Personally I don't have QC enabled on any of my devices. I plan on buying the Korean 256/6GiB LTE version to replace my Note 8 in the next 2 months for visual/screen usage reasons. Since I don't believe in letting the battery drain below 30% (it's better for devices), I will be charging it normally without QC to see how it fairs. Typically devices are shipped from factory anywhere from 50~80% charge state.
Though not to mention that having a "to spec" charger and USB-C cable is important for proper QC function if you're using that.

I have two power delivery charger both capable to charge up to 60w. If I know the phone support qc 4.0 and PD and it should turbo charge on my chargers, right? Anyway I noticed 3300-3600 mAh however it doesn't really look charge as fast as in reviews.
Some people reported 4A but according to qc 4.0 specification it's rather about 3A at 9A. What's the real charging voltage for our Xeromi?

Chinese people are used to lying. Phone doesn't support qc 4.0 and doesn't weight 190 g. It weight over 200 g (200.5g)
The phone charges at 300-500ma when using pubg even when using a 18w qc3 charger which normally charges at 2800ma. Anyone else facing this bug?

Nope i didn't seen it but mine working great i have usb tester so i can check everything about charging i didn't seen charging at 0.5A
Your saying it charges at 2800ma but this is working actually at charges at 9V & 2A so 18W charging but those ampere & accu battery are showing differently. First i thought they are genuine after i bought USB tester I learned a lesson they are wrong

It seems Xiaomi uses a proprietary protocol for it's 27W Turbo charge. For now I've not seen any other charger capable of charging it on 27W other than the Xiaomi one.

I tried a Belkin 27W QC 4.0 charger(attached), Macbook Air 30W original Charger and one more 45W Type-C charger.
But non of them shows Turbo Charging. Not even the Quick Charging message comes up when using the original 18W charger.
Saw this charger on AliExpress with a seller who had feedback saying it gives Turbo charging.

Do you have pubg installed & would it be possible for you to check charging current while game is running in foreground please?
Also btw my charger also has a 5v&3A mode so that's why it was showing ~2.8A

It's not a bug i guess... Its a OS thing .. some custom rom uses the force fast charge option... Then the phone will charge fast even we use the phone or play games.. but in stock roms they disabled the force fast charge thing... So when in idle, phone charges around 3000mah but when using the phone it comes down to around 1000mah or even lower while playing games
To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the ASUS ROG Phone II can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
This phone charges pretty fast! Around 1h 35min from 0 to 100% (I think, will test that later). I'm using the 30w charger.
2 hours with 18W
1 hour 40 mins with 25w charger...
Any one used some charger with 45/50w? ;D
I want to know how much faster this smart can charge lol.i bought the 30w charger and i think is very fast a great smart too
I'm having serious issues with 3 of my Samsung 15W chargers. Never had a problem with LG G6, Samsung S6, S7, S9 and the odd device here and there while on Rog Phone 2 it will quick charge 1/20 times with it.
And believe me. You don't want to charge with the regular 5V charger mode. It will take hours upon hours.
Maybe it has something to do with the latest OTA.
If some1 can test 50 / 65 w charger and post the results will be awsome!

Which 25 watt charger are you using
I'm facing issue with my Rog 2, my phone is not charging fast. 1) I'm using 18w charger come with the phone to charge. 2) I have used Xiaomi 2i power bank with 18w output to charge my phone (still not working). 3) When i restart the phone battery goes down 36% to 29%. 4) On charging when i restart the phone it goes 8% to 13%. 5) I'm facing this problem from the 2-3 days. 6) Double plus sign on battery icon as well as fast charging text on home screen is also not showing while charging

You need a higher output powerbank bro.. I bought a nubia 27w output power bank to be closer to the 30W power brick...
I use my Note10+ 25w charger. Works well.
I tried Baseus 60w PD type-c charger but it's charging about 16w. Looking for 30w alternate charger. Asus one really expensive with our local money.
