So i managed to use my LG G6 H870 that had magisk, until i broke the screen, after repairing it i did factory reset, which deleted my ROM.
I had to use uppercut to get my OS back and everything is good, but now i can't flash TWRP 1.1.1-0, ADB says success but when i boot to recovery i just get "No command" with red warning sign.
Any tips to fix that or do i just have to do another factory reset?

Hi.
I have a Vodafone Germany LG G2 with stock KitKat.
My story:
I installed root and recovery. Then I tried to install the OTA, doesnt work, tried it with LG PC Suite. Boot certification verify error.
Recovered all with this guide:
[FIX] NO Recovery mode, No download mode, after OTA on rooted LG G2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
Then flashed an open LG G2 kdz and all was fine again, but...
no Update for me with knock code.
----------------->>>>
So i tried to flash the original Vodafone KDZ in Offline mode. I get an error at 15 percent and it wont work. So i restarted my phone, but i only had a black screen. Nothing worked again (no download, no recovery). Ok, plugged in in PC and woha, broadcom device detected. Back to ubuntu and recovery again (see above).
After that, i restarted my phone, but no recovery was there... only the lg logo. Everytime. Again: No Download, no recovery. Stuck at bootloop every time. Factory hard reset can be called, but if i confirm, "Factory reset processing" appears, now for ~30 minutes. Is there a way to fastboot or to another state than that?
Any idea?
Hey,
I hard bricked my phone (no download mode, no recovery and no fastboot) and then managed to fix it (VIA SRK Tool) and got download mode back.
Now I need to install a recovery, and I cant go and manually check if the TWRP recovery is already installed or not, because if I do go to check and the recovery is not there then the phone will factory reset (and I'll lose all my data).
KDZ Method isn't working, it keeps saying I need to restart my device at 23% (same on two different PCs).
So is there any way of flashing the TWRP recovery through the download mode?
Thanks a lot
(I have a D801, I can get to download mode, factory reset screen and LG logo which then leads to the "Security error" coz there is no firmware in the phone.)
We've got an LG G6 phone here without an OS.
Every time we try to reboot it goes into a bootloop, and trying to factory reset through recovery does nothing except take about a second before going back into bootlooping.
ADB / Fastboot commands don't work either
Is there any way to flash stock recovery through any 3rd part LG Tools or similiar software?
LG Up doens't recognize model (H870 - International LG G6)
Thanks
Have you tried getting to the bootloader by holding vol up while plugging into PC?
Maybe UPPERCUT could get the phone to be recognized
Fixed
Hey, thanks for the tip!
We solved the problem using that method and just flashing a backup of the img files from there using Fastboot, just about an hour ago
But thanks! I'll remember this for the next time he bricks his phone
What I want to do: Enter TWRP (already installed and working).
What I've tried:
Vol Down and Power keys sequence (I can see the pseudo "Factory Reset" screen, but it is not working)
"Restart → recovery" lineage system option
"adb reboot recovery" command
Smartphone description: It is a D295f and has
[ROM][7.1][UNOFFICIAL][MSM8610][CUSTOM] LineageOS 14.1 for LG L FINO
[RECOVERY][TWRP][D290/D295] TWRP Recovery 3.1.0.0 for LG L Fino + Bootloader unlock
I am using TWRP and lineageOS in this phone for months. After crazy bugs and random restarts (maybe because of Xposed) I decided to reinstall lineageOS. I did it (and it is not the first time I do this). But I forgot to install AddonSU. So I thought "no problem, that's easy, I just need to go back to TWRP and flash it". I tried it, but for some reason the phone do not go to Recovery. Instead it just boot the OS normally. :crying:

Have you tried booting it to recovery using an app?
If yes try to reflash your recovery using flashify(play store)
Solved
Thank you for the reply.
It was not possible to go to recovery anymore because the phone just decided to not power on anymore. It is dead. Even if plugged in. But I solved the problem. I throwed the phone in the garbage.
Hi, I recently bricked my LG G6 H870. It's not booting into the OS and I can only boot into the fastboot and twrp recovery. If I try to flash a custom rom via TWRP then I'm getting the error "updater process ended with ERROR: 7"
Any solution to fix that?
I'm currently on TWRP 3.1.1-0
Found a solution for that problem..
Just let the battery completly go empty, press the volume down button, then plug the USB/charging cable into the phone (it will boot into fastboot), reinstall TWRP via your PC, flash the stock firmware https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/development/rom-lg-us997-13a-rom-tester-t3635756 and after flashing it, just reboot into the OS.
You will get an encryption error, which will throw you back into the TWRP. After you get into TWRP, wipe the stock OS and install the custom rom that you want to use....... Done
