The problem is due to Google Assistant's Voice Match, which is recording all over the time => battery drain + low quality phone call...

Call quality is perfectly fine over a cellular connection. Over hangouts on wifi, it's really good.

bluetooth is great
speakerphone, is adequate... could be louder, has a boost option, but now way to keep it on for all calls.
