Some phones are great to take camping because if you play Asphalt 8 long enough, the back warms up to the ideal temperature that can bake bread. Rate this thread to express the extent to which the Nokia 9 PureView stays cool under extended heavy use. A higher rating indicates that even when playing strenuous games for long periods of time, the phone doesn't get uncomfortably warm.

Becomes warm when charging or doing CPU/GPU intensive stuff
Not sure if my case made a difference. But ran a full 3dmark test to get the phone nice and hot. Also had Wireless on and downloading files. Volume was also 75% Here's what i noticed:
-It got gradually warmer but never uncomfortably hot.
-It got warmer toward the top half of the phone and around the camera's first.
-The bottom half of the phone stayed relatively cool and did not start to get warm until the end of the test.
-Overall the heat appears to radiate out of the upper half of the phone around the cameras more than the bottom half.
After two back to back 3dmarks, the phone was getting pretty warm, but by no means uncomfortable--if say it was laying on your bare leg or stomach.
The case i used is the Cruzerlite. You can find it on Amazon under: 'Cruzerlite Nokia 9 PureView Case, Cruzerlite Carbon Fiber Shock Absorption Slim Case for Nokia 9 PureView (Black)'
I gave its heat dissipation 4.3 stars.
My 3d mark score was 4582/4258; Sling shot Extreme Open GL/Vulkan

I am encountering an issue related to my Nokia 5 screen
When phone becomes little heated while using in surrounding then screen color , saturation ,contrast changes
Screen become oversaturated ,everything become so ghost like and after 2-3 sec it become normal
Again after 10 sec it become oversaturated or overcontrasted
I don't know what is this appending with my phone ,everything starts looking so whitish please help
Stop playing heavy duty games....not only does the heat affect your screen, but had long term issues on the innards (glue, plastic connectors & micro-soldered points), but also reduces battery life....If you still want to game, buy a higher end phone....N5 is not meant for it.
I don't play any game on it
This problem occurs when direct sunlight is falling on it (even in morning mild sunlight)

The reviews of the curved screen are dead on. It's pretty, and also it's pretty annoying. Too easy to accidentally push the wrong thing, and not all that useful. The notifications along the sides are cool (I'd like to see more customizability there), but other than that, the screen curve's utility ends at the demo counter at Best Buy.

You can disable that edge curve somewhere in the moto app. Saw video on that.
Just got mine today and it feels great and no issues with touching the edges...have more issues with edge on OnePlus 8!
I've had this phone about 20 hours now, and....
...prerelease reviews were correct, its roundness and smoothness make it not the most grippable.-- and yet has amazing one-handed utility, so I'm not repositioning my fingers unless typing, etc. However, the only issues I've had with the edge wraps is them NOT registering light touches reliably. I've had few, if any, unintended clicks, but it find it difficult to exit apps/go home when in landscape. And impossible if I'm using the phone in a clip (like for gaming).
Would love some more options such as continuous edge lighting when charging, and more shortcuts from the little folder side button (it could ALMOST become my primary app launcher as-is, and has a great config setup). Don't love the motion required to do long inward sideswipes to go "back" over the curved edge and into the screen, but it may just be the unfamiliarity of the motion. (I am used to android 9, nova prime, and the xda navigation capsule bubble on my last 2-3 motos.
That all said, love this hardware like I haven't loved a phone in years. It feels like ridiculous horsepower in a sleek sexy package, and compared it aloud to a muscle car and day g a model. Just dread when I will drop the slippery bugger!
Have had the phone for 4 hours and the single hand use is amazing. The case that you get with it provides a lot of support while allowing to see the back (The case is a god send as a lot of places just have the plus.)

I saw in review, this is heavy. Yeah it is. We can not hold and chat for long time while lying. It's literally hard. Sometimes gives pain to fingers after long hold. Using the back case makes more thicker. Definitely the light weight users will take time to make it comfortable. Slightly making me to feel like having old Nokia N70. Thickness makes me to think like that.
it is indeed very heavy - thankfully i am a big guy with big hands but even then I notice after a while my hands/fingers get tired.
I run a lot as well and hold the phone in my hand, and after a while noteice that too.
Its way too big for my wife she cant hold it at all.
All phones these days are huge, around 200-215 grams with big camera bumps its just the new norm. Personally I have no problem with the size and it actually is a really good feeling phone in the hand, has grip and even though the back is plastic is feels very nice and doesn't seem to scratch too easy
It's way too heavy when you add case and screen protector. My phone is like 240g now. Hate it. Last time I buy a heavy phone
Heavy? It is
But handfeel is about density and weight distribution.
I had Oppo A5 2020 (195 Gram) before Poco X3. It felt heavier because it was less wide (720p display).
Poco X3 is okayish for the battery and screen size
Weight distribution is also fine.
Also, I have held iphone 12 pro max (my friend complained about the weight, I thought it wouldn't be that different from my Oppo) and yes because it is thinner and weighs 236 grams, it feels very heavy.
Rate this thread to express how well you can see the Moto G 5G's display outdoors. In case you've been playing Minecraft for 18 months straight, you might not known how to get outside anymore. Well, find the door and walk through it. A higher rating indicates that it has very high maximum brightness and thus fantastic outdoor visibility in direct sunlight.

Kind of okay, not like brightest in direct sunlight , but visible in sunlight
In my professional opinion, it is less brighter than more standard phones. Nothing too serious, but sometimes depending if you are in direct sunlight or not, you may have some issues viewing your screen clearly and easily.
i also have slight trouble with the lack of brightness outside compared the note 10 plus i had which is now in the bottom of tampa bay. wind blew chair over while fishing on skyway bridge and it fell out of cupholder.

holy **** that sucks! I've heard many a story of various ways we've lost our phones, however, this one might take the cake for the best(worst) way to lose a device yet.
In this video I unbox the Oppo Find X5 Pro! There is also an extra surprise at the beginning of the video!
I love how the phone comes with a case and a preinstalled screen protector. You can carry around your phone without having to worry about scratches and bumps from day one. Also while most phone manufacturers are ditching the included charger to ... save the planet (make more money) Oppo has chosen to take care of the customer. Not only have they decided to include a charger in the box, but they have included the 80W Flash charger which can charge the Oppo Find X5 Pro from 0-50% in about 12 minutes! We also get a premium support card, and a USB C cable.
My first impressions of the design of the phone is that this feels thinner and lighter when compared to other phones I have carried recently. At 8.5mm it is .4mm thinner than my S22 Ultra and at 218grams It is 10grams lighter. The difference is noticeable for sure. The curved display meets the curved back edges to make the phone feel even thinner. This phone feels great in the hand. I love this Glaze Black color! I am loving this ceramic back. This is the first ceramic build that I have ever used and I am loving the unique look! The back curves over the top of the camera bump which makes the cameras seamlessly blend into the back of the phone, another unique and charming characteristic of this phone's design.
The display is bright and vibrant with colors that pop. The screen is able to reach 1300 nits of peak brightness which is evident when I take the phone outdoors. I can still see and use the phone even in bright sun light. With QHD+ resolution high quality games and video look great on this phone. The 120Hz Dynamic refresh rate paired with 240Hz touch sampling rate make the phone feel ultra fast. Scrolling through your twitter feed feels snappy as well. I also noticed that the display is able to adjust the refresh rate without me noticing. Some other phones that I have tested with the LTPO technology and adaptive refresh rate will jump to the lower refresh rate and seem to lag back to the high refresh rate. This phone jumps between refresh rates without me noticing. So far this is among the best displays I have used on a phone this year.
I have not had much time with the camera, but the few shots that I have taken have turned out great. I took test shots in both well lit outdoor and low light conditions. In both settings images are sharp with accurate colors. I noticed that the main camera does a great job in super bright conditions as well. Some other cameras I have tried will portray colors as overblown. This camera does a great job at showing the colors closer to what I am actually seeing. When I zoom in on shots especially those I take of my dog Chewy I can see lots of detail still. The Ultra wide lens doubles as a macro lens which is a neat feature. I was able to grab some neat close up shots of the texture in my brick walls. I will be doing more testing of the camera for the full review, but so far this phone is packing a great camera system.
A few other things that I noticed here ColorOS feels light and snappy. I haven't noticed any bugs or quirkiness in the first several hours of use. The fingerprint is accurate and responsive. The battery seems to be holding up nicely for the first day of use. Overall this is a fun phone to use. Of course I will go further in depth after I have had more time with the phone so be on the lookout for a full review.
