If you have problems with play store
After you installed the google play.
It will pop up a notification: New installed: Click to config auto
launch setting.
Click it.
Then you be on the Auto-run Manager
Then select "Google Play services"
You can select "Google Play Store" too or just ignore it.
Then Google play will work.
I face the same problem, I have a bible app is chinese, that runs properly in my oppo find 7a; but I cannot install it in my ZTE Axon 7 (4gb ram/ 64gb rom, china version), saying the app is incompatable with the device. I have tried to download apk from web but the apps still could not be installed.

Rooting is the only solution
I think getting root for the device is the only solution to get this fixed
Or custom room
Hi... Any fix so far? I really need my banking apps :'(

You don't usually need root. You can pull the APK from another rooted device, or use something like Raccoon to download the APK and then you just have to sideload. If the app has run-time compatibility checks, then root would be needed to alter the device signature, but that's just asking for trouble.
This is a store compatibility check, the app dev has placed restrictions on the app. They could be specifically excluding your device model for some reason or it's not designed for Android M, who knows. If you could get the apk, the you can download it. If you have access to another device that this works on, backup the app with something like ES File Explorer (it should not require root). Then transfer the apk to Axon and install.

Chinese ZTE blade A601 , unable to install gapps

Hello,
Recently I've bought in china ZTE BA601 for chinese market. And I can't install any google services on it. I tried to install opengapps and cgapps from custom recovery(TWRP doesn't support this device) and always get message "updates failed because of the wrong version" , though I tried versions for ARM android 5.1, which should be fine. I also tried to install google play services apk, and it crashes immediately - "google play services has stopped...", so I can't install anything related to google - inbox, translate,maps etc.
Any advise for a newbie?
I am also in the exactly same situation. I cannot even install apps from Google Play and that's probably because Google is banned from China. Any ideas?
have you tried Google apps odexed and root system to throw? sorry for my English... Google chrome is also from the market. however, I have it installed
How to root this device?

Play Store opens and closes after update

Hi there!
I have a Chinese Honor 8 Lite (model PRA-AL00) and I don't want to root it. I regularly have a problem with Play Store. The factory version of Play Store is 7. A few days after Play Store updates itself to version 8 I get an issue unexpectedly (I can't figure out what's the trigger). Basically when I open Play Store it opens and closes the window immediately. I see that it is still running but its window closes immediately. Here's what I've tried and does not work to fix:
- clearing cache and date of Play Store, Google Play Services, Download Manager, Google Serves Framework;
- stopping and restarting Download manager;
The only things that work are:
- factory reset (but i can't do it all the time cuz it's a pain in the butt);
- reverting Play Store to factory version and restarting (again, it's a pain in the butt to do it all the time;
Questiona:
- has anyone had this issue and found a solution?
- does anyone know a way to stop Play Store from updating itself without rooting (i can't and don't want to root my device).
Thanks anyone in advance!
Luca
Download the latest version apk and install manually once and see if it helps

GooglePlay alternative

Hi everyone,
I've installed an app via an .apk file on my fire hd 8 (7th gen). Unfortunately, it can't be launched without google play store "The version of the GooglePlay services on the device is not authentic. Please install a valid version".
I am trying to avoid Google services.
I've tried to install my app via Aurora Store, but i get the same error message.
I've also tried sideloading it via toolbox, same result.
Is there any alternative to make my application work on the tablet without having google play store installed?
If not, i will use the firetoolbox to install it. After installing the PlayStore, is there a way to completely uninstall it from my device un the future? Finally, do i need to create an account with my personnal info in order to download any app on the googleplaystore?
Thanks all in advance for your help and tips !! :good:
