This phone has Android 9 out the box, which in my opinion is the BEST looking feel aesthetically so far on any phone OS I owned. It's super snappy, takes little battery, and super adjustable to your needs. This phone at this price range makes it a good 'high-end budget' phone.
Love the close to stock Android experience on this phone, and love the Motorola features. I use shake for flashlight ALL the time.
I like it pretty much. 9.0 looks nice straight out of the box. This is not a flagship phone but when comparing features/pricing, this is one of the best around.

Love that they used Nova launcher. I have used it a couple of years and it's still the best launcher. Even more when paired with KLWP.
I love the overall UI, I love Nova launcher, I have been using it for a year and a half and think it's the perfect choice for this phone. The ui is very stock Android which I prefer a lot.
Love it.

Poor, poor poor pure Android, without multitasking, no services, and free Ram. Widgets don't work or don't refresh correctly. We are....
But the headset - my Nokia wh 208 / lg quadbeat 2 - works great AFTER turn on the music player!

I've always been a big fan of vanilla Android. That said, Samsung's OneUI is probably one of the better custom interfaces, offering genuine improvements and features. There is some bloat and non-removable apps which are annoying but they are tolerable and many can, at least, be disabled.
It runs smoothly and doesn't get in the way.

Meh, Color OS is not bad, but has still some little bug and glich (i found one untranslated chinese sub-sub...menu) (2020 may OTA).
Realme UI 1 is among the most fastest and smoothest UI out there. Plus the number of feature it packs are amazing! I think for a casual user it's the best UI out there. But overall, it's my 3rd favourite UI after Oxygen OS and Pixel stock android.

Being Moto, this is stock Android at it's finest, with only the Moto actions and styles, etc. added on.
Excellent experience.
Not too many apps installed stock either. Definitely not bloatware, it's just I don't use most of the Google apps, so for me it is. Compared to something like Mi, it is amazing.
The stock-ness probably contributes to it feeling fast and snappy.
