Have a look here mate.
https://chinagadgetsreviews.com/download-android-martshmallow-6-0-firmware-for-mxq-4k-tv-box.html
I am trying to downgrade my system from 7.x as well. I want to go back to 5.1.1.
I get into recovery and start the install. It fails and says it cannot apply the firmware because there is a newer version already installed.
Is there a way to get around this and actually downgrade the firmware?

I'm not seeing info on this anywhere - I have a Shield TV 2015 standard on Experience 5.0 Nougat rooted with TWRP. I keep getting bugged to upgrade to 5.1. Is 5.1 rootable? Are there steps to update to 5.1 anywhere? I can't find any info on this online anywhere, it's killing me...and I'm not a noob.
Thanks.
The developer site has the 5.1 rooted image ready to fully root (SuperSU) and mod.

Yes 5.1 can be rooted. Flash SuperSu with TWRP
HI. I run android 6.0.1 and want to downgrade to android 5 dure the bad quality of the epd resolution on marshmallow. I know I need to be in 4.4.3 and then upgrade to 5.0 to achieve lollipop, but read in the forum I would break the phone if I flash to 4.4.3 once I flash to marshmallow, because the bootloader changed .
So, if there isn't a FOTA of lollipop it means I can't run it no more?
You can also flash the bootloader, and I am pretty sure that you don't need to go to 4.4.3 first. You can just directly flash lollipop. Lollipop and MM don't have a different bootloader by the way.
I know because I when MM was still in testing phase, I switched back to lollipop first before upgrading to the official MM release.
That being said, a lot of stuff can go wrong if you start flashing while not completely knowing what you are doing and there are no completely foolproof programs or guides for the yotaphone out there.
If you wanna go at it anyway, you can start with the links below for info and firmware files.

Yeah that's great to know, but thats why I ask about the tioe of firmwares, because, if I am right, I can flash a FOTA but not a OTA of a lower version coming from a newer one.
Which lollipop firmware did you flashed?
As you say, I want to understand it before maybe bricking it

I flashed the ru 124 firmware. Someone uploaded all firmware files here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/yotaphone-one/general/firrmware-files-one-files-onedrive-t3633138.
Downside is that you have to download everything even though you probably just want 1 of the firmware files.
For your convenience, I uploaded my lollipop firmware files here along with the needed software and drivers and a bat script to flash it all:

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to go from the P Sprint firmware to U firmware. I want to be able to root my device on QL1. The guide on the forum is for U firmware, but I attempted with my stock Sprint firmware and the only thing I couldn't get to work was mobile data, as APN settings are not adjustable on stock firmware. Is there a way to flash U firmware if I am on stock P?
Thanks,
csmyka

It is possible if your bootloader version is lower than 5, firmware for unlocked version have latest bootloader revision 4. Sprint updates bootloader just to remove this possibility of crossflashing. You are on QL1 version so is not possible at the moment

I have upgraded to RA1 since I posted. Does this still make it impossible?

RA1 is still on 4. If you look at past firmware info, this should be sorted out when Oreo drops.
I try with Odin but it is not...please.
Try to download latest 6.0 frimware but I think bootloader is locked and it's impossible.
Have you tried with ticking bootloader option i Odin ?

I believe i read somewhere on here that you can only flash the same bootloader version as 8.0 is version 2 so the only one you can downgrade to is one with bootloader version 2 and that is 7.0 i understand. Correct me if i am wrong though,

Correct.
Find 7.0 Firmware that is at least March 2018 or newer (Binary 2 Rom) to downgrade from 8.0 Oreo

Just download the firmware for 6.0.1 and flash it in odin, I've done it several times and it works very nicely.
I'm surprised they would allow 6.0.1 firmware to flash what model is your phone sm-g935f and was it on 8.0?
BL code drops to 6.0 without code but network goes

Hello,
I downgraded to 6.0 but phone is now stuck in boot loop and i'm unable to access recovery mode.
I'm only able to access download mode.
Please how can i resolve this problem?
Hey guys, who knows do we have option like — flash fw with older bootloaders and then do isolated new bootloader flash to make older fw work?
Something like that, because i "heard" similar tricks in internet, like people are flashing modem and bootloader bins separately after downgrade flashing like from android 8 to 6. But didn't find proper instructions on that.
Is it possible? Is there instruction out there?
Yeah, oreo is better than nougat and yeah yeah new features, new updates blablabla. I just believe that every device is always better with its first software - we all saw and know how Apple does, i dont think that other companies dont do something like this...after masscopy of notches personally i dont have any doubts...why you think samsung "upgrades" this bootloader sh*t? It's the same thing like it was with iphone 4s - no downgrade option, and "upgraded" version of fw forcedly reduced the work of processor and other performances - you forced to BUY new one. Same politics in Samsung.
Well, for me marshmallow is better than all others in using S7 - it's faster and bugfree than nougat or oreo, yes it's oldy and even some basic performance features not exist, but still android 6 is the best for S7. I used custom roms but they are really buggy, badly buggy, definitely not a choice for everyday using. Oh i missed the days with nexus phones...not pixels.
Advice

Explain bro..how is the performance? How it feels?
Does anyone knows if the Google restrictions on Huawei affect major updates on Huawei mobile phones? Especially now that we are awaiting Android 9 update. Are we still getting upgrade from beta version ? Am currently on Emui 9.1 beta based on Android 9.
Not sure, right now they could halt this update and we get stuck on 8.0 forever, as for you that are on beta you could revert to 8.0. manually. Or we all get update to 9.0 ?

Why would you want to revert , isn't the 9 version good. Where did you find instructions where it says that bootloader must be locked ?
