Is there any way to add apps to the list of apps that can be used with Video Enhancer? It supports the regular YouTube app, but I'd like to use it with YouTube Vanced, and possibly others. Is this possible?

Is there any way i can play youtube in the background on my tab?
Simple answer: no.
Slightly less simple answer. The Youtube app would have to be coded in such a way that allows it to output audio in the background (like most music player apps). Google would never allow such a thing because using Youtube to listen to music kind of goes against the intended purpose: watching videos.
If you mean while browsing the web it's possible if you use the Overscreen Browser. It will let you have floating windows that are resizeable, and you can view YouTube in a separate window or native app while browsing elsewhere at the same time. (or any other app, for that matter)
not entirely accurate - download an app called Stick It - and it will let you play videos as well as youtube in a floating window

Is it possible to add new apps to video enhancer? Like Ogyoutube etc...
Hello everyone!
I was wondering if it is possible to play for example, play youtube in background(the app) with sound, then internet(samsung browser) without sound(for example, when browsing facebook, and i want to watch a video in my informationflow but not stopping the youtube video from playing) I've tried everything on google and alot of apps in playstore(.mostly volume controls) without success...
Anyone have an idea? Im on 7,0 touchwiz, more exactly Ultimate Nougat V2.6.
Excuse my spelling, formula and Thanks in advance.
I have YouTube vanced and when switching apps normally YouTube would play in a little window.
It's switched on in YouTube's settings any help
Though I'm a YT Vanced user - I guess it's the same workaround: to get PiP I have to enter the recent apps switcher to trigger the miniature player, while Youtube is playing a video - otherwise it just plays audio in the background and the PiP window is not displayed.
go to phone settings and disable Picture-in-Picture
Sorry auto correct its vanced I'm using not cancer oops
Is this a common issue with the Fire 10HD?
My tablet is not rooted but I used ADB to disable all the Amazon apps and use Evie as a launcher.
I've installed Google framework, Youtube and VLC. I have also installed Kodi.
Other than Kodi, I have not been able to play any video files locally. Youtube also would not work unless I play it through Kodi Youtube addon.
Is there something missing from the tablet basic installation that will allow it to play the video files and Youtube?

NVM,
Turns out the tablet was buggy and stop playing video altogether. Anyway, a reboot seems to clear up whatever was causing the issue.
