Quick Toggle Status Bar Clock Oxygen OS - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Basically is there a way to easily enable/disable the status bar clock?
One of my favorite options that oxygen os enables is the ability to disable/add seconds to the status bar clock (I'm on the OP6T btw). Normally I keep it on the hours, minutes and seconds mode, but will turn it off when going to bed so I don't worry about time. However it is a bit annoying to have to manually go to the setting each time and it would be far more convenient to have some sort of quick setting (like the ones above the notification shade) to do this. I have been trying to use an app called Custom Quick Settings to accomplish this, as you can actually run code/scripts from the custom quick setting you make. Though, I haven't been able to accomplish my goal with this. Does anyone know how I may go about doing this?

[Q] Mod for quick settings & charging led?

I love the quick open of quick settings by sliding the finger from a side of the status bar and the customization of the tiles. I also like the LED while the phone is charging (I couldn't make lightflow work :S). The problems is that I only need those features, and I prefer using stock ROM instead of installing a whole new one.
Are these features available in CM and other ROMs as mods for the stock ROM? Thank you.

I use lightflow and had a bit of trouble setting it up originally. If you try and enable light-flow in accessibility when the app prompts you it wont work. It always force closed for me. You need to install it, then go settings and enable it manually, give it a try.
I'm running Liquid Smooth, and it does have the option for the led to light up when charging, orange while charging, and green when it hits 90%.
For the quick toggles you can set quick pull-down, so that you always pull-down settings from one side. I personally like to have quick-settings always come up when there are no notifications, and i have swipe gesture set in nova to pull-down the quick-settings in case there are notifications and i want to get to the toggles quickly.
How I've been some help. I have found the ROM to have really good battery life too, i get around 4hrs screen on time, usually set to 100%.

[Q] quick settings

i just installed quick settings.its great but one thing is missing.the "3G"toggle to turn it on or off.is it possible to set it?
is there another application like "quick settings" that includes "3g" toogle ?
anyone?
you can have notification toggles in your notification bar or you can have a widget on your homescreen that acts like a button. If you really want a toggle in your quick settings then you can find various roms that will have that feature as well as let you add other toggles and even change the order along with other things.

[Q] Looking for a Nice Weather App/Module for Notfications

Hey all, I'm looking for a weather app or module that will give me either a constant notification (like the google weather card but just needs to be constant) or sits somewhere in the quick settings (like the one integrated in CM12 is exactly what I would like). A lot of the apps I have tried do give the constant notification BUT they also keep an icon in the status bar which I am trying to avoid. A small handful, such as BrightWeather, offer the option to hide it and is the current one I am using so far. So does anyone have any suggestions on this?
I think amber has option for blank notification icon
Yeah it does, the only problem with Amber is that despite setting refresh interval to 3 hrs, I wakes my device a lot more often than that. I think it had woken to do something >15 times/hour. Tried to go through all the settings and not really sure what it was doing, but the battery drain was too significant

[Q] Custom quick settings tiles (as in slimroms): How do you get those?

Hello,
I'm using Slimkat 4.4.4.8269 since its release. It has a neat feature called the custom tiles which is the feature that keeps me on that rom because I was unable to find a similar function in another ROM.
The Slimroms custom tiles basically lets you set unlimited "custom" tiles in the quicksettings which you can set with apps, os functions or whatever. They take a second action for a long press and they can cycle through multiple apps on that one tiles.
This is basically a quickstarter for apps. The thing that makes this marvelous is actually that opening an app doesn't get that app into the foreground, that statusbar stays in the foreground such that I can open a second and third, etc. app through very few taps.
An example what I use this for: My worst but not rare case here:
Navigation+speedcam warner+mozilla stumbler(wifi and cell existance to gps mapper)+openwlanmap.org (wifi to gps mapper)+openbmap.org (wifi and cell to gps mapper).
The best approach is to use a directory on the homescreen, if my launcher supported it. This way i don't have to search in the app drawer.
So I would open the directory, start app 1, press home screen, start app 2 and so on.
Until i started the 5 apps, I have done (swipes and presses+ app-open-taps combined) 15 actions.
Using custom tiles as slimkat offers it in the status bar I swipe to open the quick settings and then open my apps, 1 swipe+5 taps=6 actions.
This is for me much faster and allows me to pay much less attention to my phone while starting what I want.
However, I would like to update to Lollipop or M, anyways, go with CM most likely but that feature isn't there. I found out that the GravityBox with the xposed framework offers some kind of similar features but it only features 2 custom apps, currently I have a bit more than 20 in my status bar.
I could use "Tasker" for this approach as well, but actually that configuration is rather weird and static to one action/app (condition) which I first have to fulfill. That approach fails if one of the apps is already started and I only want to start one app especially if that meets Taskers condition. I end up using the app drawer and search for my app.
This post pretty much covers the configuration and outcome of the custom tile in Slimroms in two pictures:

Have you seen any other ROM with decent updates (that seems to be only CM for the hlte at the point of writing) or way to accomplish something similar? It doesn't need to be in the statusbar, even though that is quite easy to access.
Parts of my post I took from my post to a CM feature request at JIRA:
https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/CYAN-2227?jql=text%20~%20%22custom%20tiles%22
Thanks in advance!
Try Layers, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/themes-apps/systemui-overlays-5-0-t3025183
Thanks for the reply. I think layers is some sort of theming app overlaying the normal icons with other colors. This is something new to me and interesting, but not what I wanted in this thread.
I found something that goes a bit in that direction: Hangars. It displays some appbar in the notification area. Upon opening an app the area disappears and I would have to open the notification area again. Still better than the homelauncher and its folders.
Something I tested previously going into the same direction is the PIE control as well as some sidelaunchers like omnirom and such. Still the custom tiles allow a faster operation.
If anyone is interested in those, you could vote for this as well:
https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/CYAN-2227, It enclosed this feature.
From time to time I changed to CM or something like it, but return very quickly to my custom quick tiles as they are irreplacible and other roms waste time and I can hardly operate them blindly like slimkat.
Just heads up, Google finally may have thought those tiles to be useful and they were added in Marshmallow. You can only go there using the System UI tuner (google for it, if you don't know what it is. You'll need another app to configure those nicely, like custom quick settings. Due a bug you can't add more than 18 tiles in total, but if you like it and don't need more go ahead. Right now I have 40+ and they're in color.
So far I can't think of changing from the lovely slimkat.

Second screen tied to notification drawer

For years I have hidden the notification drawer on the top of the screen, most of the info there is duplicated in my widgets, and I just don't like the clutter. However with the V20, hiding the notification drawer also turns off my second screen...which then gets rid of one of the marquee features of this phone.
I've tried on multiple launchers (Nova and Next), and the same result. I've tried permanently hiding it, and using gestures to toggle on and off.
Does anybody have any suggestions? Any rooted users know if this is a problem after root? This one little problem annoys me to no end.
Thanks a lot.
I'm on a non-rooted Verizon V20.
There is a setting that might help that allows it to be active when the display is in fullscreen mode. It's meant for videos so it might not have full functionality.
I'm rooted and I get the same thing. I use Nova and the "toggle notification bar" shuts the second screen off along with the notification bar. I don't know why they're tied together like that, it's annoying...
The second screen's "show time while content is shown" option will leave it on with the notification bar toggled off, but it doesn't do anything, it just shows time and notifications up there. You can't scroll it to get to anything.
