Hello,
I'm facing the following issue:
I updated my android to 9.0 through recovery using a flashable stock zip. After that I followed all instructions and wiped the system to flash the last Resurrection Remix rom (January).
I was having signal issues, then I read that maybe flashing the modem could help me (January update because is the only one for Pie):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a1/themes/twrp-baseband-modem-april-stock-rom-t3777901
So I did it all again (flashed the stock, wiped the system, flashed RR and then flashed the modem - all through TWRP), but well, here I am...
I'm really enjoying RR and would like to keep it.
Is there some way to solve this? I already tried to use Network Signal Guru but it didn't solve my problem.
I'm from Brazil and my network carrier is 'Claro'
PS: I found this link on RR thread, in the "Vendor and Boot images", there's a 'signal boost' zip there but I don't know if it may brick my phone 'cause maybe it only works with Android 8, and even if it works I don't know how to flash vendor zip.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/resurrectionremix-oreo/files/tissot/treble-aio/
Thank you

I am using a OnePlus 2 device i had Halogen OS installed on it along with H2OS modem...
I later decided to go back to Oxygen OS after the OOS 3.5.6 update so i called customer care for remote flashing but after the flashing completed my device didn't had it's WiFi SSID along with random reboots and no network...
I researched some more some said to delete and flash persist.img and reserve4.img with fastboot to fix ...but i didn't flashed reserve4.img becuase somewhere in the post it was mentioned to not flash it... it didn't work...
So i just flashed H2OS 2.5 in some hope and got the network on one of the sim and rest was working(I didn't checked the sensors but they might be working) fine then i flashed OOS 3.5.6 because they both are almost same...and everything worked except the sensors...and IMEI 2 was still 0 so i found one of the post where Tony Lau provided me with OOS 3.5.7 OTA .. so i reflashed OOS 3.5.6 and flashed the OTA... I got the IMEI 2 back but lost the camera....Plz help me
I followed the instructions on this page and I got into a bootloop, so I flashed the stock android and it got me out of the bootloop, but i dont want to be on stock i want to be on RR so how can i not get bootlooped after flashing it? apperently im not the only one with this problem but nobody managed to fix it other than flashing the stock rom so I hope maybe somebody here can help me, btw i also flashed gapps after i flashed RR

I had that problem too when flashing the non-treble version. I'm not sure if this was your issue, but I had to boot back into TWRP and change slots in the reboot menu. Then it booted. So next time, you might give that a shot.
There is a step missing in the instructions too. There is no instruction on when to flash the gapps. Flashing them *after* Magisk worked for me.
If audio quality matters to you, I haven't found a custom ROM that sounds as good as stock, so I'm back on the stock ROM, even though I really liked RR.

Hello all, maybe you can help...
After finally getting a stable TWRP from @ashyx that finally booted, I attempted to flash roms and Gapps on my SM-T350. This should be simple enough, but every rom I flash either doesn't boot or boots with only sound and no display!!!!
Yes, I'm running TWRP 3.2.3-1 courtesy of @ashyx
Yes, I've wiped several times.... wiped internal storage sometimes too
I'm running the latest official 7.1.1 release from Samsung.... I cannot get anything else to boot!
Please offer some support, I need some help y'all!

EDIT: THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED
Check the latest comments for more info
I'm having the exact same issues, never experienced this before with any device. Hope someone can help or we can find a fix.
Same - SM-T350
I was able to install Jazzrom but none of the other SM-T350 roms. I can hear sound when I press the power button, but no display when trying Lineage 15 or 16. Jazzrom runs slow, that is why I'm not sticking with it. I have tried several versions of TWRP as well. 3.2.3-1 seems to be the only one that got Jazzrom installed. Thanks in advance for your time. Same issue with crDroid rom ver 5.2
my suggestion would be to use odin to reflash to stock, and reinstall twrp. i've never encountered that specific issue with the device

Tried that.... no luck. Everyone else who reported a problem is having the same exact issue as me.... it's strange.
Here is what I posted in the crDroid area:
I might be posting a little soon but finally on the road to success after only getting a blank screen after boot. Downgraded the stock 7.1.1 to marshmallow T350XXU1BPK1 using the BL, AP and CSC files in Odin. Used TWRP TWRP-3.2.1-lineage-15.1_j1_20180418_gt58wifi. Versions of TWRP that worked before didn't work after the downgrade. Installed April 9th crDroid ROM and gapps pico. I am now at the sign in screen.

This solved it!!! Finally!!! For clarification, anyone who is having this issue must downgrade to stock Marshamallow (BPK1) and flash twrp 3.2.1. It must have something to do with the newer oreo bootloader, so just downgrade and Viola! Success! :good:
ok i'm in need of help from the experts. I have a few lex727 zl1's that i've been using with lineage for a while now and all has been well until I upgraded (was running a 14.1 nightly on one of the phones, no firmware update). When I attempted to install lineageos 16. I got the modem assert error from
Code:
twrp: assert(leeco.verify_modem("2017-01-06 01:40:06") == "1")
which from looking on these forums means i needed to upgrade my firmware. so I grabbed the latest twrp and the latest firmware from here: link
download zl1 727 30s and 20s from here
applied the firmware update by booting into fastboot and running each flash individually: which I did by following this
Fired up recovery, 16 install went fine this time. gapps, blah blah. phone booted up and looked good but my cell connection is pretty much always dead. when it connects, it does so for a very small amount of time then dies again
I'm in the US on ting
If I take my sim out and put it back in my old zl1 with the old setup, everything goes back to working perfectly. LTE+ and stable connection
Is there something I'm missing? Did I not flash something correctly?
Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thx
Did you try to back up /system from your old zl1 and flash to one which does not work to see if it works as you expect? Jus to rule out a hardware problem?
Also why didn't you download the firmware from LineageOS site? https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/zl1/

Hi,
A few months back I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP (I don't know which version, probably letsmakecakes version) and flashed a LOS build from Darkjoker. I ran into a few problems, like asking password on first boot and a Zip Treble compatibility error while trying to flash the rom. I can't recall how I overcome it, I think I deleted something inside the rom zip and then it worked I believe.
But this is an old build, it has a few major bugs (data not working for me, sometimes the phone freezes while connecting to certain networks, etc). I'm dying to change it.
I want to mantain the feel of LOS and stock Android (I don't need costumization), and I've looked into LOS 16 from AmulyaX and Pixel Experience 9.0. Which one would you guys recommend?
Also, with the problems I had when first flashing this phone, I'm a bit afraid of the process. I want to install OrangeFox Recovery and one of these roms. How should I procceed? Can you ELI5 please?
Thank you!
I unlocked my bootloader just yesterday. And before that I made sure that I remove all security locks including screen lock and app lock. This way TWRP did not encrypt my phone. After flashing TWRP I booted into recovery and flashed Orange Fox Recovery zip and it automatically booted into itself. I wanted to stick with MIUI bcz of the battery backup and smoothness so I went for RevOS MIUI. Loving the ROM so far.
