I'm running haggertk's lineage-16.0-20190109-UNOFFICIAL-klte.zip on a Galaxy S5 G900V.
I subscribe to Verizon's Caller ID Name, which I think they now call Call Filter - besides real caller ID, it would also give me a spam rating on incoming calls.
I found a version online and was able to add it to my playstore wish list, but it says incompatible with device when I try to install it.
Has anyone had any luck getting this to work?

In my old Hermes (Cingular 8525), there is an option in the Phone Settings to hide my caller ID, so that when I call someone they will not see my number on their phone.
However, with my Mogul, I don't see that option. Does anyone know how can I do this?
I miss this feature on the mogul too. But you can type *67 and the number for example the number is 18001234567 type *6718001234567
P.S. if you find a patch to do this from a menu I would love to hear about it.
Thanks for the info. But that means I can't use my "Phonebook" to dial, as I have to manually enter *67 and then the number.
Maybe some of our resident hacker can figure it out?
Do you just want to permanently hide your number from everyone you call? If so, you should be able to ask your carrier to add a "No Caller Id" code to your account...
you could edit the phonebook entry or make an aditional one that is blocked and call it their "other" number or fax or something
Hi all,
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't want to permanently block my caller ID, only for select number. I prefer to be able to change the caller ID feature on the fly without editing the phonebook, but I guess I'll have to do so until Sprint implement this feature.
Hi
I'm with Bell Canada and we have a option on their web to block caller ID. I selected this option and in my contacts I added *83 to the number I want to unblock my ID. So if I dial a new number I know that my block caller ID is on.
Hi, so my friend has a Verizon S4 flashed with the HyperDrive ROM. He was showing me the other day how whenever someone called him, the caller ID name showed up as if the number was stored in his contacts. It's not like it was linked to FaceBook or anything, because it worked for completely random numbers. In the recent call logs it showed up with the name under the number. It had a very minimal and "native" look to it. The funny thing is, he was unsure where it came from. I checked the info for the ROM and I didn't see anything about that and there was no app installed that would explain it. It appeared to just be part of the phone. More interestingly, it was able to come up with names that would not show up on a normal WhitePages search. They would show up with my "premium, advanced lookup." So it would appear he has access to a pretty good phone number lookup database. I mean that makes sense, I assume WhitePages just hides some numbers/names from the normal search so you have to pay. Anyway, I was wondering what this was and if it's possible to get with my ATT S4? Thank you and have a great day!

how to enable or disable showing caller id when make calls , any solve for this
I use Showcaller and I like it a lot. Search the Google Play Store for it. Lightweight and easy to use. App allows you to see who's calling even if you don't have the persons number saved. It also marks spam calls which I love.

I have an unlocked Samsung s10+ and I am using prepaid verizon. How do I get caller ID on the Samsung S10? It was stated that Samsung has their own version of caller id but I cannot enable it?
I am trying to get some form of caller id because I get many spam calls a day so I would like to filter it out. Prior to this when I was on the Pixel and Oneplus they both have great caller IDS.

can I use any other program?
When I was rooted on the Oneplus I was able to use google caller iD.
It seems like Verizon is hell bent on making me pay to use their services.
I cannot root my S10 due to tripping knox
if you run u1 unlocked firmware, caller id is build in.

Verizon's app uses CallKit framework for it's caller-id and blocking which also powers Hiya. Actually, all the caller id apps from Verizon, AT&T, etc use a form of Hiya.
