I made this thread to discuss the test build so as not to fill up the official 15.1 thread with offtopic discussion.
If Elektroschmock wants me to delete this then I will do so.
I wanted to know if anyone has tried the 29/01 build, whether it has fixed the issues with the Play Store? I was having problems downloading some paid apps. It was quite stable otherwise.
Is it possible that I also get a test build?

Are you serious?? The developer responded to your thread and has the test build link right front and center in his signature.
I did not know that he has that in his signature?

Hey guys currently Iam using exodus nightly titan 5.1.1.. But there are some issues with this rom like GPS not working and other minor issues.. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Clean flash? Exposed?
So you're asking us to recommend another rom for you? LOL.
How about you hit up the G+ community, make a proper bug report (check the pinned FAQs post for instructions) and help the devs help you fix whatever issues you might have?

Very restrained response by comparison to the one he'd have got on g+ had he posted that ?
Sorry, we don't have the manpower to support both, 5.1 and bringup of 6.0.
6.0 took more time we expected but we are really near now, fighting some minor issues (some graphical glitches that might have to do with unfinished blobs for 6.0) and stuff like that.
Best would be to wait for 6.0 and then hopefully you will not have any of these issues anymore.
Just out of curiosity:
Do you have same issues on cm-12.1 ?
I ask because exodus-5.1 is based on cm-12.1 so it would help us to know if these issues are there too...

Apparently there are rules over here, go figure, lol. :/
Is there a PAC-ROM for the Nexus 6P yet? I couldn't find anything. If not I might try to build it myself.
Assuming there is, could someone link me to it?
Assuming there is not, could someone link me to a recent tutorial on how to build PAC? Everything I've found is for 4.4.4.
Or, if anyone wants to help me build it (which would be greatly appreciated) PM me.
I've compiled the ROM manually. Will test through the night and upload tomorrow. Anyone have anything they want me to test?
Nav bar pulse, viper, and cm theme engine ?
Okay, so, I tested it last night and you can not use any SIM cards. The radio.img needs recompiled. I will get to work on that shortly.
Posting the thread once it's done uploading.

Hey guys, I came across this rom while looking for an update on Nougat roms on RN3. Found this https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=601275311581037403
I have already installed it but I get a bootloop (waited like 12 minutes and no luck) (I have the goodix sensor model, maybe that is the reason why?). I do not want to offend the developer or anybody who is contributing with him for not having it done yet. I just wanted to bring this up to people's attention that we will soon be getting a Nougat version of RR for our device

Official RR maintainer for kenzo @war_machine28 confirmed that we gonna have a build today. So I think there is no need to create a new thread just for publishing a build that is also not yours. Please respect the developers and don't publish anyone's build without proper permission.

1. If the developer didn't publish his ROM openly, you have NO F***ING right to do SO - STRICTLY against XDA RULES!!
2. Even if you really are having an URGE, the "GUIDES, NEWS, & DISCUSSION" is the section to go for - BUT precedence goes to no. 1 @HParra97.

Apologize sincerely. I will delete the [post immediately. How do I delete this thread, as I have never done so before.
[NOTE]Hi. Ive been looking around the thread and I cant find an appropriate one so I just created one. Please let me know if there is redundancy that i have missed.[/NOTE]
This thread came from an acknowledgement that the Developer Preview still has some benefits especially to those who have been itching for major updates (like me hehe). The primary purpose is to maintain important files, and to share/talk about new features and stuffs, also some advantages.
Unfortunately, there is no one maintaining it yet. Especially for those who have missed the Preview sign up almost a year ago, having a link to try it out would be nice. Midgetmob's very comprehensive links dont have it yet.
Recently we've found out that Preview update 2 was released, FEATURING ANDROID N!!! Sweet right? Unfortunately, if you are not on the Developers Preview OS, you wont receive the OTA update.
SO please ANYONE, if you have the original file for the Developer's Preview for US-LTE, RoW-LTE, and WIFI versions, kindly share here The ones provided at the Vulkan Preview Thread no longer works. :/
Thanks in advance!

I'm not really encouraging well-principled people to break NDA but it won't matter when people can sign up here at XDA with a different username and just send a link to their uploaded file, right?
I might still miss out on the big picture though..
OK guys, in the other thread I've just been educated about the level of integrity here at XDA and I get it.
Since I've also applied for the Developer Preview, I will just ask Nvidia to resend the original link
I found my email from them, but when I attempted to reply it got sent back to me. It seems it's no longer working.

Hey guys , I am new to this forum i want to install Invicta os on my phone as many people suggested this rom. I am confused between normal version & Hal3 version ,which one less buggy & smooth.
Also invicta rom thread has been closed ,it was mentioned there 4.15 (17/11) is the final build but when i go to the download section on sourceforce.net there is new version listed 4.16 (16/12) with both normal & hal3 version available for download.
what to do guys ????

Difference you'll find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mo...-cyanogenmod-14-1-alpha-t3492274/post74554594
Since Silesh.Nair stated that he discontinued work there will be no other versions. Maybe it was uploaded by another one but the project is over. So no new versions.

If you read it they are both the same except for the camera api which is meant by the hal3. The difference is therefore only the camera quality as stated.

That's already a simple answer, there in no other difference.
hal3 means picture quality will be better but will require reboot for chop-chop to work.
Normal means picture quality will be less than hal3, but here chop-chop gestures work fine...
There is no other difference in terms of battery/stability/tweaks/anything...
Got it now ? Then read XDA rules, that says search before asking, it's answered many times..
thanks 2 both of you now its clear
One thing, you mean chop chop require reboot every time or once only ?

As I mentioned earlier, the one who was last released by silesh was the last. Others are not recommended by him.

If on 4.15, and running 'check for updates', you'll get a notification that 4.16 is available.
I think it still was created by Silesh (only he has the sources to do so, afaik), and contains Dec 5, 2017 security updates.
However, it was created after he left, so it is somehow a 'blind' install.
I'm running on 4.16 since a few weeks, it seems to be ok.
